The Presidency
Obama Administration paying to say sorry - The President of the United States, the most powerful man on Earth, is buying TV ads in Pakistan with our tax dollars to tell Muslims he is ashamed of the fact that we have free speech. Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are featured in TV ads paid for by the State Department and now running in Pakistan. They are actually apologizing because someone in the United States used their freedom of speech to be critical of Mohammed. It doesn't get any worse than this. Read more in a UK newspaper. Although some media outlets continue to blame rioting on the non-existent movie about Mohammed, evidence is overwhelming that this was not the case.
White House admits video did not cause attacks - After ten days of media supported lies by the Obama Administration claiming that a YouTube video was to blame for the murders of Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans, the White House took a sharp turn and said "terrorism" was to blame. The fictional story blaming the video collapsed when CBS News interviewed people living near the consulate and found out there was no demonstration. Armed Islamists with RPG's attacked the consulate in three waves on the anniversary of 9-11. For days the Obama Administration had been blaming free speech in the US as the problem. See my op-ed

Senator champions religious freedom - Before he was elected to the Congress, Senator Roy Blunt was president of Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. He understands the issues that religious institutions face under ObamaCare and has written an op-ed in a Missouri newspaper about his concerns. NOTE: Islamic organizations are exempt from all ObamaCare rules being forced upon Christian and Jewish organizations.

A prophecy come true for America - This past week I wrote an opinion editorial for WND.COM that spotlights a dire warning made about Western civilization 100 years ago by William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army. Rising Tide of Restrictions on Religion - Pew Research Center's Forum on Religion and Public Life shows that restrictions on religion spiked throughout the world in 2009-2010. The United States was among the 16 countries whose scores on both the Government Restrictions Index and the Social Hostilities Index increased by one point or more in the year ending in mid-2010. Pakistan: Love for the Prophet Day - Yes, it is "Love for the Prophet Day" in Pakistan and so far 19 people have died in the riots, with many more injured and millions of dollars in property damage done. Times of India

Turkey: PM demands worldwide blasphemy laws - Prime Minister Erdogan called for "international legal regulations against attacks on what people deem sacred, on religion" as well as "something in terms of domestic law." Egypt: Six years in prison for Christian who insulted Muslim president - Christians are concerned and shocked by the six-year sentence imposed on Bishoy Kamel, a Christian teacher who posted online satirical cartoons on Islam on July 30 this year, and allegedly insulted Egypt's president. Read more
Syria: 100 Afghans killed in Aleppo - In a strike against a school used by "rebel" forces, the Syrian army killed one hundred (100) Afghan nationals who had come to Syria for jihad. It now appears that most of the front line rebel fighters are foreign jihadists, as the popularity of the revolt against the Assad regime seems to dissipate among Libyans.
France: Government prepares for riots - France is braced for a Muslim backlash after a satirical magazine published new cartoons of Mohammed. France will close 20 embassies and schools across Islamic countries Friday. Read more

Obama thanks Libya after ambassador murdered - Ambassador Christopher Stevens was kidnapped, raped and murdered by Muslims in Libya on the eleventh anniversary of the jihad attack at Ground Zero. Within 24 hours of the attacks on American diplomats in Libya, President Barack Hussein Obama called Libyan President Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf to thank him for his support. He then called the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt and told him that he "rejects efforts to denigrate Islam." This is in line with the Obama Administration's work with the Organization of Islamic States in the United Nations to enforce blasphemy laws worldwide.
Obama encourages Islamic violence - In my latest op-ed at WND.COM, I examine the root cause of the attacks on our embassies and the murder of Ambassador Stevens. The constant apologizing for American greatness and American freedom is a trademark of Barack Obama. His Administration's appeasement in response to Islamic demands has caused even greater militancy among Islamic extremists and led to more violence. Read the op-ed
Obama / Clinton double standards - The Obama Administration has been working with the OIC to find acceptable ways to stifle speech offensive to Muslims, without going so far as outright censorship of Americans' speech - at least not yet. Indeed, Secretary Clinton assured her OIC partners that she was perfectly on board with using "some old-fashioned techniques of peer pressure and shaming, so that people don't feel that they have the support to do what we abhor." OBAMA'S GENERALS CELEBRATE GAY PRIDE MONTH - One day is set aside each year to honor those who died in the service or our nation, but Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has set aside the entire month of June to celebrate acts of sodomy. Penetta declared June as "gay pride" month." In a video prepared for homosexuals in the military Panetta said, "Now you can be proud of serving your country, and be proud of who you are." John Paul Jones probably would have jumped ship had he known this was coming.

BARACK OBAMA AND ISAIAH - This past week President Obama visited Ground Zero and with a marker wrote on the wall of the new building: "We remember. We rebuild. We come back stronger!" Oddly this is eerily similar to Isaiah 9:10 (KJV) "The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: The sycamores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars." When Israel was attacked as a waning from God, rather than obey Him the leaders shouted that they would rebuild stronger. Obama says we will rebuild stronger, but with an army that allows sodomy. OBAMA JOINED A SOCIALIST PARTY IN 1996 - During his run for the Illinois State Senate in 1996 Barak Obama addressed the New Party, a socialist party made up mostly of ACORN members. He spoke at a meeting of the New Party where he signed a "candidate contract" and joined as a member. Old internet documents from the party show him as a member, even reporting when he later failed to pay his dues. Read more

SENATORS SUPPORT DOMA - Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) today led a group of Senators who had supported the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) when it passed Congress in 1996, in filing a friend-of-the-court brief defending DOMA's constitutionality with the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Joining Hatch are Sens. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), Dan Coats (R-IN), Mike Crapo (R-ID), Charles Grassley (R-IA), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Richard Shelby (R-AL.), and Roger Wicker (R-MS). More than 80 percent of both the Senate and House voted for DOMA, and President Bill Clinton signed it into law on September 21, 1996. Read more

KEEP THE POT, BUT HAND OVER THE POP CORN - Let's look inside the mind of a man who pays no attention to God at all, to see how this man thinks. Mayor Bloomberg of New York City has blocked the reconstruction of a church at Ground Zero while promoting the construction of a mega mosque. He wants to legalize "small amounts" of marijuana but outlaw "large portions" of popcorn at theaters. He also wants to limit the size of all soda drinks sold in New York to 16 onces (goodbye Big Gulp). Good comment on this issue here

DISNEY GAY DAY - Speaking of godless, on June 2nd Disney World held its annual sodomy day. (Advice: Don't let young boys go into the men's room during sodomy day at Disney unless accompanied by a family member.) The same week the Disney Corporation celebrated sodomy at its amusement parks, the company announced it would ban "junk food" ads from its children's TV shows. The Disney Corporation firmly believes that sodomy is good in kid's amusement parks but that Twinkies are bad for kids. A final question: Why do adult homosexuals want to go to Disney World anyway? Never mind, I know the answer to that question.

ARAB SPRING TUNISIA - Until 18 months ago Tunisia was considered to be the example of a "moderate" Islamic nation with tolerance for all. Then Baracck Obama and European leaders managed to back a revolt by Islamists against the secular government. Now Tunisia is a nation of strife and upheaval, with Islamist attacks on those who want to live a modern Western lifestyle. Read more

ARAB SPRING EGYPT - The Supreme Court of Egypt, which was appointed by the former secularist government, has dissolved the recently elected Parliament which was controlled by Islamists. Christians were encouraged and hopeful of the return of secularism. Islamists threaten to overthrow the military while calling the dissolved parliament a "coup." In reality Christians will suffer regardless, in a majority Islamic state.

ARAB SPRING LIBYA - Sidney newspaper headline: "Libya descends into militia chaos as hostages still held." there is not much in the news about the Libya that Barack Obama and EU leaders "liberated" but there is plenty of action there. The US Ambassador car was hit by an RPG, UN workers have been kidnapped and there is a full scale war going on in the south by different tribes. Yes ... This is what Barack Obama got a Noble Peace prize for at the beginning of his presidency. PRESIDENCY 

ARAB SPRING OR ARAB FALL - It was 1979 and President Jimmy Carter had just forced the Shah of Iran to flee into exile. The headlines read: "Shah out, democracy comes to Iran." In 1991 the Soviet backed Communist government of Afghanistan falls to the Islamic rebels supported by the United States. The headlines read: "Communists out, democracy comes to Afghanistan." Now in 2011 the Islamist rebels supported by the President Barack Obama kill Libyan dictator Qaddafi: The headlines read: Qaddafi dead: democracy comes to Libya. Enough said  
OBAMA DEFENDS UGANDA?- Uganda has a long history of terror and bloodshed. Muslim dictator Idi Amin was in control when Israeli special forces had to attack the Entebbe airport to release a plane load of hostages. Eventually the Muslim dictator was exiled to Libya. Now President Obama has sent troops to fight against the "Lord's Resistance Army." Make no mistake, the LRA does not represent mainstream Christian faith, but why is President Obama involving us in a second African war this year? Did he not say he was elected to bring troops home?
THE CONGRESS 
VANDERBILT UNIVERSITIES ATTACK ON RELIGIOUS GROUPS - Congressman Forbes appeared on Fox News this week to discuss Vanderbilt University's treatment of Christian student groups. Forbes is the Co-Chairman of the Prayer Caucus.The university demands that Christian groups allow atheist and Muslim leaders. Several religious student organizations have been placed on "provisional status" for requiring their student leaders to share the groups' religious beliefs. The Prayer Caucus sent a letter to Vanderbilt Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos urging him to ensure that school's nondiscrimination policy is not being interpreted in a manner that discriminates against religious student groups. Political and other student groups are allowed to select leaders who share the groups' views, religious student groups are being prohibited from doing so. Watch the interview here. 

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

CAIR DEMANDS MILITARY CHANGE UNIFORMS - it starts in high school, then where. The Counsel on American Islamic Relations sent a letter last week to the superintendent of Williamson County Schools demanding a formal apology be issued to Miss Zawity and that she be allowed to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers Training Program (JROTC) program wearing her hijab. She was banned from the program because she demanded to be the only student in uniform wearing a hijab. For CAIR and the rest of the Muslim Brotherhood, this is not about the JROTC or Zawity. It is the first attempt to change the uniforms of the United States military to conform with sharia law. Look at the photo: Was this girl serious about becoming an officer in the United States Army?

HYATT HOTEL CANCELS ANTI-SHARIA CONFERENCE - The Hyatt hotel in Sugar Land, Texas, abruptly canceled a Tea Party event the same day author and Atlas Shrugs founder Pamela Geller was scheduled to speak on the dangers of Sharia. The story has gone international much to the shame of Hyatt Hotels which is now seen as somewhat anti-Semitic. Pamela Geller is a Jew. Hyatt Hotels in Muslim nations are frequently used by radical Islamic groups attacking Israel. The Hyatt did not need to be pushed very hard by the Council on American Islamic Relations when it demanded that Geller be cancelled. Geller will next speak at the Preserving Freedom Conference in Nashville on 11/11/11.

THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE
EVICTING THE GZ MOSQUE - Power company, which owes half of the property for the propose "Ground Zero mosque" has given developer Sharif Al-Gamal ultimatum: Pay $1.7 million in back rent get out of the property. Park51, which leases the substation from Con Ed, wants the two buildings so it can knock both down and build a $100 million, 15-story community center, or maybe a four story "PrayerSpace" or maybe just use the whole plan to raise money from rich Arabs in Saudi Arabia. INTERNATIONAL 
CRY FOR SWEDEN - The same nation that tried to put Pastor Aki Green in jail for reading a Scripture critical of homosexuality told an Imam that he had permission from the government to call for the death of anyone leaving Islam. The decision was made by prosecutors after the Imam made the statement on a Swedish Public radio broadcast. Read more

KIDS ABUSED IN U.K. MUSLIM SCHOOLS - Hundreds of children are being subjected to physical abuse in madrassas, an investigation claims. At least 250,000 Muslim youngsters attend the religious instruction centers, which are not formally regulated. More than 400 allegations of physical abuse have been made over the past three years, with the total reaching 146 last year and 89 in 2009. Read more

17-YEAR-OLD CHRISTIAN BEHEADED - Militants from an Islamic extremist organization in Somalia linked to al-Qaida beheaded a 17-year-old Christian near Mogadishu. Guled Jama Muktar was killed by al Shabbab militants in his home near Deynile, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Somali capital. (Note, this is just one of the hundreds of Christians murdered by Muslims worldwide this year as part of Jihad.)

Chairman’s Report from Washington for July 20,2011

THE PRESIDENT, WAR, TERROR AND ISLAM

OBAMA’S VOICE OF AMERICA – The headline at the Voice of America website operated by the US government, on July 15^th, 2011 said, “Braving Scorching Heat, Egyptians Rally to Press for Reforms.” Reforms? The organizers of the demonstration, the Sharia Association of Rights and Reform, called for a million men to take to the streets accusing the “secularists” of stealing the coming elections. The Sharia Association of Rights and Reforms also stated that Islamic sharia is the majority choice for Egypt, accusing secularists and liberals of trying to outflank the true preferences of the Egyptian people with a new constitution.

The reporting on this and other Middle Eastern events by the Voice of America seems to bend the truth when it comes to Islam and particularly the Muslim Brotherhood. The Voice of America continually refers to the Muslim Brotherhood as a “moderate” organization organized around charity. Oddly, the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood says something quite the contrary:

- Allah is our objective.
- The Prophet is our leader.
- Qur’an is our law.
- Jihad is our way.
- Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

The Voice of America is the official voice of the Obama Administration; it is not an independent news organization. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton uses the Voice of America to announce official State Department positions. Apparently the official position of the Obama Administration and the Department of State is to white wash violent Islamic organizations to justify cooperation with them.

OBAMA WANTS ARAB RATHER THAN CANADIAN OIL – Only Saudi Arabia has more recoverable oil reserves than Alberta, Canada. Unfortunately for Americans, the Obama Administration does not want oil from Alberta because it comes primarily from oil sands and Obama’s “green” supporters don’t like that fact. (Caveat: Actually the United States holds the greatest known oil reserves in the world when oil shale is included; however, Congress has barred extraction in most of these known reserve areas.) Currently Obama’s EPA is blocking the construction of a pipeline to the USA from Alberta that would bring investments of over $9 billion and create 100,000 jobs. If completed the pipeline would also bring down oil prices not only in the United States but the entire world. Simply put, out of liberal ideology, the Obama Administration and liberals in Congress are raising gas prices and putting people out of work.

Canada is currently the number one supplier of oil to the United States followed by Mexico and then Saudi Arabia. As older oil fields are depleted Canada is willing to open up its very rich oil shale fields. Obama is not interested; he would rather have American dollars flow to Arab nations that fund extremist Islam. Meanwhile the Chinese understand the value and volume of Canadian oil. Sinopec, a Chinese state-controlled oil company, has invested $5.5 billion to build the Northern Gateway Pipeline from Alberta to the Pacific Coast province of British Columbia where oil can be loaded on the Chinese tankers.

THE WEINER PROBLEM AT THE STATE DEPARTMENT – Why was President Barack Obama so eager to request that Twitter-disgraced congressman Anthony Weiner resign? Just maybe he feared the other half of the Weiner scandal would surface in the media. Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, is a very close confidante and advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Abedin holds a top security clearance at the State Department, but also has open associations with the Muslim Brotherhood. It is more than likely that the decision by the Administration to recognize the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt as a legitimate organization was orchestrated by her.

Considering her associations, can Huma Abedin be trusted or is she in fact a double agent for the Muslim Brotherhood? Her mother, who lives in Saudi Arabia, is a member of The Sisterhood, which is the female version of the Muslim Brotherhood. Human Events reported that Huma Abedin’s brother—Hassan Abedin—has collaborated with Omar Naseef and Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, two of the most influential terror supporters in the world. The presence of Huma Abedin as a close advisor to the Secretary of State is in itself a statement on the position of the Obama Administration.

OBAMA, GEORGE SOROS AND THE LIBYAN “REBELS” – The foreign affairs advisor for a top U.S. lobby firm hired to represent the rebels of Libya just a few months ago was serving as President Obama’s special representative to Egypt, where he reportedly held a clandestine meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood. In addition, a public relations firm working on behalf of the rebels recently arranged a meeting for Libya’s opposition with a progressive group funded by billionaire George Soros that is known for its close relationship with the White House. There seems to be a revolving door at the White House with advisors leaving to join consulting firms that champion radical agendas.

THE CONGRESS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND TERROR

NBC APOLOGIZES TO CONGRESS FOR “UNDER GOD” FLAP- Let me say first that this would NEVER have happened if NBC was still owned by General Electric. Comcast, the new owner of NBC, has issued a formal apology to Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA), the chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, for deleting “under God” from the Pledge during the U.S. Open. Forbes and more than 100 other congressmen had written a letter to NBC complaining about the incident.

The president of Comcast, Kyle McSlarrow, said: “We have made quite clear — internally and externally — that the employees who made this decision were wrong,” he said. “Not only were countless citizens justifiably upset, but also the actions of this small group cast a negative light on NBC Universal.” He was very blunt: “It was an inexcusable mistake in judgment and it will not be repeated.” Have you read my book on the history of the Pledge of Allegiance? DON’T FUND SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN MILITARY – Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) has offered an amendment to H.R. 2219, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2012, which would prohibit the implementation of the Navy’s new guidance on same sex marriage for its chaplains. This comes after the Navy recently issued guidance to their chaplains to officiate at same-sex marriages on military bases. This was a contradiction to the Defense of Marriage Act, and so Members of Congress sent a letter urging the rescindment of this new policy forcing the Navy to halt the policy – for now. This amendment would stop any future implementation of these guidelines. Please contact your congressman for support!

GAYS FOR JON HUNTSMAN – I was just a little stunned when someone e-mailed me a link to a story in Q Salt Lake. The Q stands for queer and it is a gay newspaper in Salt Lake City which has semi-endorsed Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman. Rather than editorialize I will quote directly from the gay site:

“While there are no official endorsements from any caucuses or groups within the Republican Party yet, the Utah Log Cabin Republicans worked with Huntsman when he was governor, and are ready and willing to work continue that relationship,” Melvin Nimer, the president of the ULCR, said. “Huntsman was the first governor of Utah to open up the governor’s mansion to the LGBT community,” Nimer said. “They [the Huntsman campaign team] have reached out to get some help from us and some people within the group are working with him.”

Having read this glowing endorsement of Huntsman in an official “queer” site, I think I will personally reach out to a different presidential candidate.

SISTER WIVES – In 2003 the Supreme Court in Lawrence v. Texas said that no law could be passed prohibiting sodomy or any other same-sex act. Justice Scalia said the decision would be, “the end of all morals legislation.” Actually I believe Scalia was wrong: the case simply changed the morals of the nation legally. Every single law is some kind of a moral judgment. In the Lawrence case the moral line in the sand with regard to sex was moved toward sodomy and led directly to same-sex marriage and now to polygamy.

The polygamist family on the TV series “Sister Wives” has filed a lawsuit against the state of Utah, attempting to do for polygamists what the Lawrence V. Texas case mentioned above did for homosexuals. The Lawrence v. Texas case is being used as the basis of the polygamist lawsuit. American Muslim men will be the chief benefactors of a victory since Islam permits four wives. In the UK Muslim men can put their multiple wives and as many children as they can have on the welfare roles. That will be the result in the United States as well.

HONOR KILLINGS IN THE WEST – Each year thousands of young women are murdered by their fathers and brothers in the name of “honor.” Young women who have been raped are also killed because so many Muslims believe that the rape victim has “dishonored” the family by being raped. ISLAMISTS DEMAND TAKEOVER OF THREE UK CITIES - Islamic extremists have called on British Muslims to establish three independent states within the UK. The notorious Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) group has named Yorkshire towns Bradford and Dewsbury, as well as Tower Hamlets in East London, as test sites for blanket sharia rule. The medieval ‘emirates’ would operate entirely outside British law, according to documents at their MAC website. But is the request that far out of line in the UK? There are now many sharia courts in the United Kingdom that operate openly and often contrary to English law in family matters. Non-Muslim policewomen are required to wear the hijab in Muslim areas. Police cannot enter some Muslim areas in London at all.

PAKISTAN CHRISTIAN SEX SLAVES – One may argue that rape is a phenomenon that affects every society, yet the fact that most of the women raped in Pakistan come from the mere 2% Christian minority speaks for itself. Moreover, if you read the individual stories of the rapes you soon learn that in every single case the Pakistani police either did nothing to apprehend the culprits or, more often, actually helped them while turning against the victims.

Even though Pakistan is not a full-blown sharia state and tries to save face in front of the international infidel–sharia has nonetheless conditioned even the police to see Christian women (infidels) as little more than objects of pleasure which Muslim men can violate at will. Still, the United States gives billions of dollars of aid each year to Pakistan despite the fact that it is a nuclear nation that targets democratic India with terror attacks.

ANOTHER MUSLIM ATTACK IN INDIA – The Indian Mujahedeen (IM), which has bragged of eight other terrorist attacks over the last four years, has claimed responsibility for the latest bombings in Mumbai (Bombay) which killed 23 and wounded many more innocent civilians on July 13^th, 2011. This was the worst Islamic terror attack in India since November, 2008 when Muslim terrorists from Pakistan entered Mumbai by sea and attacked hotels and a train station killing 164 people and wounding at least 308 innocent civilians.

Some background: India at one time was comprised of not only the current land area of India but Pakistan and Bangladesh as well. The nation was divided to accommodate Muslims who wanted their own nation in 1947. All Hindus fled south into India. Not satisfied with their own Islamic nation, Muslims now want to terrorize India in the name of Jihad. Virtually all terror attacks in India are in some way assisted by Pakistani intelligence which receives military funding from the United States. Our tax dollars at work!

IMAM SAYS: “THE WORLD BELONGS TO US” – At a Muslim Brotherhood related Internet site Egyptian Shaykh Safwat Hegazy in a recent video threatened Jews and Christians, and ultimately the whole world, saying, “Jerusalem belongs to us, and the whole world belongs to us.” He states the Islamic caliphate will return, and that “every land upon which Islam has set foot will return to us.” He makes pointed references to Qurayza and Khaybar, which are clear threats against the Jews, and also states, “we will kill anyone who has polluted the al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Hegazy is a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and has a very popular TV show, “Age of Glory,” on the al-Nas television network. During the uprising against Mubarak , he addressed crowds at Tahrir Square in Cairo. He stood directly behind Shaykh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the head of the Muslim Brotherhood, when the latter led more than one million Muslims in Tahrir Square in prayer after Mubarak stepped down. This is the group that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she was looking forward to “working with” in Egypt.

ISLAMIC EDUCATION - On July 15^th, 2011 police in Indonesia arrested the head of the Umar Bin Khatab Islamic boarding school after a bomb exploded at the school. Police finally entered the school building after being obstructed by dozens of locals carrying sharp weapons to find bomb making manuals and materials used as “teaching aids.” Moderate Islam at its best.

PRESIDENCY 

OBAMA IGNORES GENOCIDE - Intelligence agencies have furnished compelling information to President Barrack Obama that the Muslim government of the Sudan is killing thousands of Christians in the Nuba Mountains. Mass murdering dictator Omar Hassan al-Bashir is moving 14 trucks loaded with chemical weapons to the Nuba Mountains in preparation for mass murder. Al-Bashir was charged with genocide by an international tribunal because of his actions in Darfur where he killed other Muslims, but Europe and the United States do not seem to have a problem when the victims of mass murder are Christians. Obama, who has supported the "Arab Spring" in Egypt, Libya and elsewhere, does not seem bothered by the wholesale murder of Christians in Africa.

NO "HOSTILITIES" IN LIBYA? - The daily bombings of Tripoli by our military, the attacks on the Libyan army and the tens of millions of dollars spent on munitions do not constitute "hostilities" and as a result, says President Obama, he does not have to seek authority to continue the war there under the War Powers Act. "It's bizarre that the administration has sent over a letter yesterday referring to the fact that we're not involved in hostilities in Libya," Senator Corker, (R-TN), said on the Senate floor. "I mean it's really totally bizarre when you look at what's going on right now in the air in Libya right now." Senator McCain, (R-AZ)., called yesterday's report from the administration a "confusing breach of common sense," and a "puzzling assertion." Senator Corker and Senator Jim Webb, (D-VA) introduced a bill requiring a "detailed justification" of the US operation in Libya from the administration. Even Democrats are astonished at Obama's disregard for Congressional oversight.

THE CONGRESS 

INTERSTATE ABORTION BAN - CIANA, the Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act, would prohibit a person who is not a parent knowingly taking a minor across state lines with the intent of obtaining an abortion, if it evades a parental involvement law in the minor's home state. CIANA also requires abortionists to notify parents at least 24 hours before performing an abortion on an out-of-state minor. The bill in the past has been introduced in both the House and Senate, but has failed under Democrat leaders. Senators Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) are sponsoring the bill in the Senate. Although the bill will no be filed until June 21, please contact your Senators now and ask them to co-sponsor CIANA.

BLOCK PRO-ABORTION JUDGE - Both Republican Senators from Kansas, Pat Roberts and Jerry Moran, oppose the nomination of Steve Six by President Obama to the U.S. Court of Appeals. Pro-abortion former Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius appointed Six to district judge in 2005, and then appointed him as a replacement state Attorney General in 2007. During his time as Attorney General, rather than enforcing laws against late term abortions, Six actually assisted abortionists. Read the details at Kansans for Life. THE WEINER HOUSE - When Anthony Weiner announced his resignation at a Senior Center in New York and some New Yorkers present actually cheered. Democrat leaders on Capitol Hill including Nancy Pelosi were relieved that the disturbed radical left congressman with sex twitting issues was gone. Anthony Weiner was best known nationally for his vicious personal attacks on Republicans, particularity women and Jews. Weiner, who claimed to be a Jew is married to a Muslim. Since no Rabbi would officiate his wedding it was done by none other than former President Bill Clinton. That along probably doomed the marriage.

ATHEIST NEWDOW DEFEATED AGAIN -This week the Supreme Court rejected atheist activist Michael Newdow's latest lawsuit challenging the words "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, this time after he lost in the First Circuit Count of Appeals in Boston. In March, the Supreme Court rejected Newdow's appeal from his loss in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. In the book I present the arguments for "under God" in the Pledge and debunk Newdow's claims.

SEVENTH GRADERS FORCED TO TAKE SEX SURVEY - Seventh graders in a Massachusetts school were asked, "Have you ever had oral sex?" in a survey that had other graphic language which I cannot repeat here. The students were asked what they used to prevent pregnancy in their "last sexual encounter." The school admits it was graphic but says they had to administer it as part of a grant from the Department of Education. The Rutherford Institute is filing a complaint on behalf of the mother of two girls attending the Fitchburg School District. Read more

UK ATHEIST SPEAKS OUT ON 'CULTURAL TERRORISM' - In the United States, atheists, gays, liberal professors and feminists all line up to support Islam and sharia law. Oddly, these are the first groups that will be either beheaded, hung or stoned to death in a Muslim takeover. Huffpost and the rest of the liberal media are all for Islam and sharia law simply because conservatives oppose a dual legal system in the United States that would weaken the Constitution. Whatever conservatives are against, the left must be for. However, the liberals in the United Kingdom are starting to feel the whip of Islam. One atheist who has stood consistently against the Islamization of Britain is Pat Condell and he is not afraid to criticize his fellow liberals.
