Obama's rebels not "palatable" - Less than one-third of Syrian rebels "palatable" to Europe and USA, reports IHS Janes, the leading military think tank in the world, The stark assessment accords with the view of Western diplomats that less than one third of the opposition forces are "palatable" to Britain, while American envoys put the figure even lower. Bottom line: Most of those Obama supports in Syria are Islamic terrorists. Read more
Obama FBI continues to work with CAIR - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has recently been exposed for violating its own policies about collaborating with the Muslim Brotherhood front group known as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Read more

Finally! An investigation of Planned Parenthood - In February, dozens of U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to the Government Accounting Office (GAO) asking for it to conduct a thorough investigation of the possible misuse of federal tax dollars by the abortion industry - including Planned Parenthood. The GAO finally responded to that letter and has agreed to begin an investigation. Read more

Court rules in favor of National Motto - A New York federal district court has dismissed a challenge to the inclusion of our national motto, "In God We Trust," on United States currency. Forty-one Members of the House of Representatives signed an amicus curiae brief in May, filed by the American Center for Law and Justice and the American Catholic Lawyers Association supporting the motto. School trips to mosques but not churches - High school students in Tennessee were recently taken on a field trip to the Islamic Center of Nashville and were given Korans after the tour. They were also given a worksheet on Islam that described Islam as more tolerant of its conquered peoples than was the United States in its treatment of minorities. (Note: We have a black president.) Attacks on Christians worldwide - A new report details how Islamist attacks on Christians are increasing around the world with new attacks in Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan and elsewhere. Read more
Turkey: Renowned pianist jailed for blasphemy - An Istanbul court on Friday sentenced Turkish pianist Fazil Say to 10 months in prison on charges of insulting Islamic religious values in comments he made on Twitter. Turkey also has more journalists in jail than any other nation in the world. Turkey is an American ally and a member of NATO. Read more
Tanzania: Muslims throw acid on priest - Rev. Joseph Anselmo Mwangamba stepped outside an Internet café on the outskirts of Zanzibar City, capital of the semi-autonomous island in the Indian Ocean about 25 kilometers (16 miles) off the coast of Tanzania, when the assailants threw acid on his face and chest. Pakistan: Christians flee Islamic terror - There was uncertainty Monday, September 16, about the whereabouts of dozens of Christian families who fled their homes in a village near the Pakistani city of Lahore after a local pastor was accused of blasphemy against Muhammad. Read more

Our Web site continues to crash - Endurance International Group bought our hosting provider - Hostgator - in June of this year. They have attempted to move the millions of Internet sites Hostgator hosted to their Hostmonster faculty in Utah as a cost cutting measure and the results have been disastrous. Since the move the speed at which the Religious Freedom Coalition serves out has drastically increased and there have been numerous outages including one on Friday August 2nd that had our site offline for more than five hours. We are currently looking for an alternative provider.

Clarity on Snowden and Russia - President Obama, along with Senate allies such as Senator John McCain, have lambasted Russia for refusing to extradite NSA leaker Edward Snowden so he can be arrested and tried for treason here. PROBLEM: The United States has never signed any extradition treaty with Russia because we want to "protect" any Russian "dissidents" who bring Russian secrets to the USA. We do NOT have an extradition treaty with China for the same reason. Bottom line: Obama and McCain want Russia to extradite Snowden and any other "leaker" back to the USA while retaining the right NOT to extradite anyone to Russia. Obama Justice: Transgenders a protected class - A troubled young boy has what is known as a Gender Identity Disorder. This is a treatable mental condition, but Obama's DOJ apparently thinks this is a fixed identity and one that warrants federal protection. Attorney General Holder thinks that "transgender discrimination" is sex discrimination under the 1964 Civil Rights law. He's nuts. Read more
Obama's IRS still targets pro-life groups - The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is still brazenly targeting pro-life groups even after the congressional investigations began on its practices of going after conservative groups in 2010, 2011, and 2012. Read more

Congressmen question IRS targeting of pro-life Groups - On July 30, Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Congressman Darryl Issa (R-CA) with the House Oversight And Government Reform Committee sent a stern letter to acting IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel on his lack of cooperation in their IRS investigation. August Recess - At close of business today the Congress will adjourn for summer recess. The House will return on September 9th as per the schedule posted at the beginning of the year by Leader Cantor. Because Senate Leader Harry Reid is nuts, there is no telling when the Senate will reconvene and if they will do anything when they do reconvene.
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing help from the CIA, as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid, to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. School textbook promotes Islam, ignores Christianity - The Prentice World History textbook being used by 9th grade students in the Bevard Public Schools in Florida has a 36-page chapter on the glories of Islam, but none on Christianity or Judaism. The chapter on Islam also refers to Mohammed as the "Messenger of God." Read more
CAIR says Muslims above U.S. law - Mustafa Carroll, the executive director of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Dallas-Fort Worth branch, says that "If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land." Read more

The outspoken liberty Catholic priest was an outspoken backer of the "opposition," the same "opposition" that has kidnapped and killed Catholic, Orthodox and Evangelical clergymen. Huffington Post had nothing but praise for Rev. Paolo Dall'Oglio. What about the two Orthodox bishops missing for the last two months? A Saudi slave escapes in California - Meshael Alayban, a Saudi Princess, has been arrested in Orange County, California on charges of human trafficking of a Kenyan woman who was her domestic slave. The woman escaped from captivity and flagged down a bus for help. Read more

Obama's Army: Catholics and Evangelicals are extremists - A U.S. Army training instructor listed Evangelical Christianity and Catholicism as examples of religious extremism along with Al-Qaeda and Hamas, during a briefing with an Army Reserve unit based in Pennsylvania, Fox News has learned. Obama silent on Islamist killings - A Pakistani grocer running on a secularist party ticket has been shot dead in a drive-by killing in the southern city of Hyderabad. No comment from President Obama. There was also no comment from him on the killings of Coptic Christians in Egypt or the 80 Christians killed on Easter in Nigeria. It seems that any killings of Christians or secularists by Muslims will not be criticized by this White House.
Obama Spending: Economics is not normally the subject of this update, but I was stunned to learn that in 2010 the net spending at all levels of government - including Federal, State and municipal - amounted to $5.94 trillion. Divided among the 118,682,000 households in the United States, that comes to $50,074 per household. The median household income in 2010 was $49,445. This means that government spends more per family than a family on average earns. Read more

AP and other media shield serial killer - U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman spoke on the House floor this afternoon to call attention to the horrific crimes of Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist in West Philadelphia being tried for the deaths of seven newborn babies and one adult woman. Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. EGYPT: Christian mourners attacked - Coptic Christians attending a funeral service at St. Marks Cathedral in Cairo for four Copts killed two days earlier in an anti-Christian rampage, were attacked themselves by at least 200 Muslim rioters. Instead of protecting the Christians, police joined the rioters. Read more

Obama and the Saudi royals - There was no condemnation from the White House of the arrest of 53 Ethiopian Christians for praying in a private home in Saudi Arabia. No Senators expressed "outrage." In contrast, there was universal condemnation by our government and press when naked lesbians in Russia were arrested for demonstrating on the steps of an Orthodox Church. According to our government and press, this "free expression" should be allowed by Russia, but when Saudi authorities arrest Christians for praying in a private home, it is not a problem at all. White House: Some car bombs not as bad as others- When Islamist "rebels" set off car bombs and kill civilians in Iraq, it is a bad thing. But when Islamist "rebels" set off car bombs and kill children in Syria, it is --- well, just not mentioned. No statement came from the White House or State Department on the car bomb in a Damascus market that killed more than fifty people, including many children. The Administration blocked a resolution in the United Nations condemning the terrorist bombing. Read more
The great sequester scare - Bottom line: Border agents will be forced to take 14 days of unpaid leave during 2013, which amounts to about one day a month. Some civilian defense workers may be forced to take as many as 20 unpaid leave days this year. Further no layoffs can occur before April 1st by law. The government is NOT going to shut down march 1st and the nation is not going to go undefended because of cuts don't even bring the spending down in 2010 levels. The hysteria is nonsense. If the matter were serious, would the President have flown Air Force One to Florida to take golf lessons from Tiger Woods? Actions speak a lot louder than words.

Can our country tolerate beheadings, be-handings, and female genital mutilation, arranged marriages of 12 year old girls and murders of gays? Before 1990, no American ever experienced the barbaric ritual of beheading a person. Read more

Spain: Muslim kids must stay Muslim - Spain has agreed that children adopted from Muslim nations by Christians will be raised inside the home of the Christians as Muslims. This is now the law in Spain as that nation submits to Sharia. Read more

Egypt: Disappearing Coptic girls - Egypt has witnessed an increase in cases of disappearance among Coptic girls. There were 500 cases were reported in 2012 and 10 already in January 2013. Read more
Thailand: Fifty attacks last weekend by Islamists - Muslim insurgents fighting for a separate state in Thailand's deep south launched 50 bomb and arson attacks over the last weekend, killing three members of the security forces. Read more

CIA specialist: Democracy will make Islam moderate - The featured column in the Wall Street Journal by former CIA Middle East specialist Reuel Marc Gerecht this week was pure establishment boilerplate, and no surprise. His conclusion was simplistic: Democracy diminished religious influence in the West; therefore, creating democracies in Muslim nations will lead to a weakened, moderate form of Islam. This is the kind of "expert" advice that led George W. Bush into disaster in Iraq, and encouraged Barack Obama to usher the Muslim Brotherhood into Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, with an even worse outcome. In a lengthy column at WND, I responded to Gerecht's ludicrous assertions. See my column here
Obama says nothing about deaths in Egypt - in the last days of President Mubarak's secular government, dozens of protesters died in riots. President Obama was quick to ridicule the Egyptian leader and said he had to go. Now that Obama's Muslim Brotherhood buddy, Mohammed Morsi, has declared martial law and the death toll is almost the White House is strangely silent.

House out, but Senate in - The House is in "District work session" which means they are either back home in their state offices dealing with constituents, or out fund raising for reelection. Harry Reid's Senate is in session in Washington this week working on "immigration reform."
Legalizing the illegals - Senators Harry Reid, John McCain and a couple others have a bipartisan "comprehensive immigration" bill that most Republicans seem ready to accept. The bill has nothing to do with immigration but rather gives legal status to those who are now here illegally. It does nothing to bring well educated, English speaking workers to our nation. However - those needing good nannies or Russian girl friends should fly them in soon, so they will have legal status when the bill is signed into law.

Educating Sean Hannity on the Koran- Sean Hannity has gone after Egyptian President Morsi's anti-Semitic comments for several days on Fox News, but never refers to Morsi source material which is the Koran. Dr. Andrew Bostom attempts to educate Hannity in a well referenced column as to the source of the hatred toward Jews - the Koran. Read Bostom's column here.
Muslim prayers in public school library - In Maryland, the Muslim Brotherhood-founded Muslim Student Association is now on high school campuses, performing dawah and spreading sharia. One of their victories, with the help of terror-linked CAIR, is convincing the school to use the library as a mosque for daily prayers. Read more

Afghanistan: Six-year-old girl sold to pay debts - This is happening under the watchful eye of our military on a regular basis. (But so does the drug running.) A poor family unable to pay their debts has sold their six-year-old daughter to a relative for marriage to a boy ten years her senior. You will not hear a word about this outrage from the National Organization for Women (NOW) or other liberals because they only bash Christianity, never Islamic traditions. Read more
Liberated women in Mali - Women in Goa, Mali took to the streets to celebrate after French forces liberated the city from the murdering Islamic terrorists who had occupied it. The big question here is will Huffpost and other liberal outlets declare these women "Islamophobic?" Read more
UK: Muslim rapes 13 year old but no jail time because "He didn't know it was wrong" - In the UK being critical of Islam on Facebook will get you arrested and tossed in jail. The President and the Newton massacre - America is a violent society and if you don't believe that just watch the prime time TV shows each evening that depict gruesome murders and masked militarized police invading homes. (My personal favorite was a real-life show in which over twenty heavily armed masked police invaded the three room house of an unarmed obese female shoplifter.) Human bodies are dissected on detective shows as people watch and eat sandwiches. There is virtually no respect for humanity in our national media and the liberals are all more concerned about tadpoles that may go extinct than feeding poor kids. In response President Obama asks "why" the Newtown shootings occurred and appointed a commission to look into the "problem." The problem is obvious: The problem is liberal public schools that teach situational ethics and no moral absolutes. Read William J Murray's column
RINO to run Pentagon? - Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer, is expected to nominate "Republican" former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel to run the Pentagon after Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta leaves. Hagel once advised the Republican Party leadership that it should have a "big tent" policy that avoids social conservative issues. According to Hagel: "The Republican Party "shouldn't be a philosophy about morals." Hagel has supported by a wide range of anti-Israel forces around the world. Among those are radical Islamists who recently appeared on Press TV, Iran's official government television network to praise Hagel. Read more
Senator John Kerry replaces Hillary - President Barack Hussein Obama nominated Sen. John Kerry as his next secretary of state, saying Kerry's entire life "has prepared him for this role." I wonder if getting "prepared" included demonstrations against our armed services during the Vietnam War and tossing the citations he received while serving in the trash?

The Norquist factor - "Conservative" icon Grover Norquist, who agrees with George Soros on just about everything except taxes, endorsed Speaker John Beohner's plan to raise taxes on those making over $1 million a year. The Boehner tax bill, called Plan B, was pulled from the floor because Democrats didn't think it raised taxes far enough and Tea Party Republicans thought it raised taxes too much. Oddly Norquist just a few days earlier threatened to campaign against Republicans who "violated" his ATR tax pledge which he then violated himself. We are witnessing the self-destruction of a political party that doesn't have a clue as to who voted them into office. Read more
Alternative Minimum Tax - No one is talking on Capitol Hill about the AMT which will increase taxes on the average family by more than $4,000 in 2013. The tax set up in the 19060's to stop the "wealthy" from paying no taxes by using deductions has never been set to adjust for inflation. Because Congress took no action to raise the income trigger in 2012, as it has each year in the past, those earning as little as 33,750 will be forced to pay higher taxes.

The Newtown school massacre - The mainstream media immediately blamed guns and mental illness for the attack that killed so many young children. ABC nightly news asserted that 20% of children in the United States are mentally ill and that huge sums of money must be directed to help them. (ABC News stated that 23% of American women and 17% of American men are mentally ill as well.) It is ridiculous to state that one in five American children is mentally ill, but it would be right to state that more than one out of five children has no exposure to Christian teachings or morals and that is the real problem. I wrote a very lengthy column at WND.COM in which I place a lot of the blame on the churches of America for failing to preach the wrath of God and the existence of Hell. I explained the column and my positions on Mike Huckabee's national radio show. Listen to my segment with Huckabee here.
CAIR leader supports destruction of Israel - Cyrus McGoldrick is the Civil Rights Manager and spokesman for the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR in New York. At his Facebook page he repeated has used the slogan "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," which of course means the destruction of Israel and the death of all the Jews there. During the November missile attacks by HAMAS on Israel he set up a link at a CAIR site to transfer funds to a terrorist organization. Any criticism of his behavior is, of course, Islamophobia. Pakistan: Nine medical workers killed by Taliban - A ninth medical worker was killed during a wave of attacks on polio-vaccination teams. All have died at the hands of the Muslim Taliban since December 17. All have been killed while distributing free polio vaccine drops. Five of the nine health workers killed were women.
France: Victimhood caused Mohammed Merah to kill kids - "Mohammed Merah, you know, he's a hero, he's a martyr of Islam." That is what the cold blooded killing who shot Jewish kids in the face is called in his olde neighborhood. The New York Times investigated the "whys" and discovered it was not Islam but poverty. The liberal mind is just amazing.Read more
Thailand: Muslims hunt down Buddhist to kill - According to the liberal media in the West the only reason Muslims kill Christians and Jews in because of the existence of Israel. Why then are Muslims hunting down and killing Buddhists? Angry they could not find a Buddhist to kill at a government office the Muslims burned it down. Read more

The one-eyed dog lost again- Over the past three years I have heard the establishment GOP types on Capitol Hill say over and over again that a "one-eyed dog" could beat Obama. I heard this same thing back in 1995 and 1996 about getting rid of Bill Clinton. So confident was the establishment both times that they put up the proverbial establishment one-note candidate. Same song, same ending. For a challenger to overcome an incumbent, there must be real contrast. What was the contrast between Romney Care and Obama Care? Romney would not talk about social issues where the real contrast between parties is. The GOP establishment and Mitt Romney failed to understand that the nation is past the tipping point, that the majority of voters want the government to hand out money. Standing firm on social issues would have made the difference!
What next for America? - In 1797 a Scottish history professor, Dr. Alexander Tyler said: "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the people discover they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy--to be followed by a dictatorship."

The elections: So far the Republicans have lost seven House seats and three Senate seats in an election the establishment said it could not lose. More seats may be lost to recounts. Pro-life Senate candidates Todd Akin in Missouri and Richard Mourdock in Indiana were defeated by critical comments from "friends" such as George W. Bush confidante Karl Rove. Government Is Not God- PAC, of which I am also chairman, backed numerous candidates and won several races. See how my PAC did here.
Nancy Pelosi and the Islamists - During the election process, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi turned to radical Islamists to raise funds. She actually attended and spoke at a fund raiser attended by about 20 members of a Syrian dissident group and by 10 officials representing the Muslim Brotherhood as well as Hamas front groups. Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad was of course present. Read more

Gay foreplay for middle School - A school district in Maine is apologizing after middle school students learned about homosexual foreplay during what was supposed to be a "Diversity Day" presentation. "I don't want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay," outraged parent Kristy Howard told Fox News. Read more

Middle East: Lawyers honor murderer - The Arab Lawyers Union has awarded its highest decoration to the Palestinian woman who carried out the 2003 suicide bombing at Maxim's Restaurant in Haifa, which killed 21 and wounded 51. Read more
Tunisia: Moderate Muslims and the burning embassy - A September attack on the U.S. Embassy in Tunis left four dead, 49 injured, several buildings looted and burned out, and the black Salafi flag flying above the embassy grounds. This is the nation controlled by "moderate Muslims." Daniel Pipes exposes the myth of the "moderate Muslims." Read more
France: More Muslims than Catholics? - A survey states that 4.5% (or 1.9 million) of the French population consists of practicing Catholics. By way of comparison, 75% (or 4.5 million), of the estimated six million mostly ethnic North African and sub-Saharan Muslims in France, identify themselves as "believers," and 41% (or 2.5 million) say they are "practicing" Muslims. Simply stated there are more practicing Muslims in France than practicing Catholics. Read more
Saudi Arabia: More child brides sold into virtual slavery - An alarming rise in the number of child brides in Saudi Arabia has been reported. According to Al Roumi, a social services academic at Imam Mohammad Bin Saudi Islamic University, there have been 5,622 marriages in which the bride is under the age of 14 in the country. The report did not state if this was the number among all current marriages or if it was just the number sold into virtual slavery by their parents in 2011.
Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, etc. - Normally in this section I report on a few of the gruesome murders of Christians each week by Muslims. There were so many this week and they are so horrifying I just could not bring myself to write about them.

Obama increases lead - According to a new Fox News poll, Barack Hussein Obama has increased his lead over Mitt Romney in the last 30 days. Obama now leads Romney by 9 points according to the poll. An associate of mine who operates a poll by cell phone, shows Obama ahead by only four points. In electoral votes Obama is up 370 to 145 according to most polls. With nearly 50% of Americans receiving government checks of some kind, Obama is going to be harder to beat with Romney concentrating just on economic issues. Mitt Romney's refusal to bring social issues into the process may lose him the election.

Romney digs hole deeper on social issues - Despite
losing ground in the polls as he tries to run only on economic issues,
Mitt Romney took time out to attack the Boy Scouts. Yes ... the Boy
Scouts. His spokeswoman said on the issue that Romney still stands by
his 1994 statement in which he said "I feel that all people should be
able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual

Each congressman has more than a quarter of a million people in his or her district, many of whom demand direct contact which they can't get when the congressman is in Washington, DC.

On Wednesday, August 8th former Federal Prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy
addressed a standing-room only crowd at the National Press Club's on
Muslim Brotherhood influence operations in the United States. McCarthy
presented the briefing as a response to attacks on the "National
Security Five." These five members of Congress - Representatives Michele
Bachmann (MN) Louie Gohmert (TX), Trent Franks (AZ), Lynn Montgomery
(GA) and Tom Rooney (FL) - have asked the Inspectors General of federal
departments to investigate evidence of Muslim Brotherhood influence

U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman honors martyred Olympic Jews - The music for Aly Raisman's gold medal winning floor routine at the Summer Olympics was chosen by her as a tribute to the Israeli athletes who died at the hands of Muslm terrorists during the 1972 Olympic games in Munich. The music was based on the traditional Jewish song, Hava Nagila. "I am Jewish, that's why I wanted that floor music," Aly told the New York Post. Cop punished for eating Chick-fil-A sandwich -
A Dallas, Texas police officer is facing punishment for eating a
Chick-fil-A sandwich in front of two openly lesbian officers who serve
on the very politically correct Dallas police force. They claim he
"stared" at them while eating the sandwich. Read more

Egypt: Suicide bombing declared mainstream - Egyptian
cleric Hashem Islam Ali Islam, a member of the Fatwa Committee of
Al-Azhar, made extremely radical statements in an appearance on Al Aqsa
TV on July 12, 2012. In Egypt, Al Azhar is considered to represent

UK - Honor killing of 16 year old - The
parents of Shafilea Ahmed have at long last been found guilty of
murdering the 17-year-old, who was killed because they believed she had
brought shame on the family. The verdict at Chester crown court comes
after a three-month trial, and almost nine years after Shafilea was
killed for defying her parents' wishes for an arranged marriage in
