Obama's rebels establish sharia law - In most rebel occupied areas of Syria there is none of the "freedom" that Obama claimed would be established by the rebels he supports. Instead, rights have been stripped from women, and there is no freedom of speech or press because the areas are run strictly by Sharia law. Read more
Obama's war on religion - Bill Donohue of the Catholic League wrote a well documented column on Barack Obama's assault on religion -- an assault which does not seem to include Islam. The column has appeared at both NewsMax and the Catholic Leagues' internet site. I highly recommend it not only for Catholics, but for evangelicals and conservative Jews as well. Read more

Senator Rubio defends public prayer - In an op-ed just prior to the Supreme Court hearings on allowing prayers before public meetings, Senator Rubio said: I believe that part of what distinguishes America from the rest of the world is that we do not feel threatened by each other's faiths. The tradition of praying before meetings of governing or legislative bodies is common all across our country. In fact, it has been meaningful to me in my own career as a public servant." Read more
Prayer Caucus chairman defends public prayer - In a statement after the oral arguments at the Supreme Court on prayer before town-hall meetings, Congressman Randy Forbes made this statement: "The Establishment Clause of the Constitution was designed by the Founding Fathers to prohibit the government from coercing citizens to adhere, or not adhere, to a certain belief; it is not a license to remove all religious references from the public square." No special protection for drag queens - Nebraska Senators Deb Fischer and Mike Johanns have gone on record to oppose passage of the so-called "Employment Non-Discrimination Act" (ENDA), which would make drag queens, cross-dressers and transsexuals into federally protected minority groups. Washington Post reluctantly covers terror story - Wednesday morning, the Washington Post published an article describing the use of social media by Syrian terrorists to memorialize killers who died in battle. The dead terrorists' faces were made to appear as if they were smiling. The Religious Freedom Coalition and WorldNetDaily ran stories on these Syrian "martyrs" back in July and correctly labeled them as terrorists, not "fighters" as does the Post. Read more

Report From Washington - December 7, 2012
URGENT: Under the orders of President Obama the Department of Defense is blocking "anti-Islamic" Internet sites from being views on base even those who simple report on Islamic atrocities. Sign this official White House petition now to stop this outrage.
In this issue: Obama demands more power than any American president has ever had / Paul loves Obama for robbing Peter / White House submission to international blasphemy laws / America can't survive the cures coming out of Congress / One bright spot in actions of Congressional Prayer Caucus / New Chairman's Report by William J Murray /Did Franklin Roosevelt describe the Egypt of today? / A world of jihad - an attack every five hours / Al Jazeera owner sends man to life in jail for criticizing him
The Presidency
Obama demands more power - Barack Obama is demanding that Congress permanently give up its authority over raising the debt ceiling. He is demanding as a part of "negotiating" with the Congress, that a law be passed to allow him to increase the debt ceiling of the government at any time he deems it necessary. Giving this power to Obama will be "crossing the Rubicon" and there will be no return to congressional control of the Presidency. When Obama robs Peter to pay Paul, he can always count on the vote of Paul - This statement was obviously proven in the election of Barack Obama, who spent four years expanding the ranks of dependency by using every avenue of government possible, from food stamps to mortgage reductions. Read more
Official submission to Islam - Round three of the "Istanbul Process" opens today, December 3, and runs through Wednesday, at Canada House, in London, hosted by the U.K. and Canada. The Istanbul Process is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's major transnational law initiative, undertaken in partnership with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). It was established last year to "implement" measures against speech and expression that negatively "stereotype[s]" Islam and Muslims, with a particular emphasis on enacting them in the West. Read more
Congress
America can't survive the cure - For years I have referred to the Democrats as the Tax and Spend Party and the Republicans as the Borrow and Spend Party. It seems that they are now merging into the Tax and Borrow to Spend Party. All solutions coming from Washington are a disaster for the future generations of this nation. Cutting federal spending enough to eliminate the debt means massive job loss and a depression. Raising taxes to cover the huge spending deficits means massive job loss and recession. Continuing to borrow trillions of dollars each year means inflation that will eventually destroy the wealth of the nation causing massive job loss and recession.
Congress at a stand still - The debt crisis and the "fiscal cliff" have brought the Congress to a stand still. Virtually no action is being taken on important issues such as the deterioration of American power. Egypt having sentenced American citizens to die for blasphemy is being ignored, as is the continued threat to our ally Israel.
Prayer Caucus year in review - One of the few bright spots on Capitol Hill is the Prayer Caucus headed by Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA). During 2012 the Prayer Caucus opposed the removal of a reference to "God" from an Air Force logo; voted to add the D-day Prayer to the World War II Memorial; opposed efforts to remove a memorial cross honoring military veterans, and much more. Read the full review of the Prayer Caucus work in 2012 here.

Mark Twain on Islam and the Holy Land - Mark Twain as a young newspaperman reported from the Ottoman Empire on Islam and Sharia. His comments on Islam and the state of Islamic rule in Jerusalem would be considered "Islamophobia" today. Read his amazing quotes on Islam here.

An explanation of Egypt today - Franklin Roosevelt summed up the situation in Egypt as it was during his time -- and as it is today: "The real strength of the Nationalist movement in Egypt lay not with these Levantines of the café but with the mass of practically unchanged bigoted Moslems to whom the movement meant driving out the foreigner, plundering and slaying the local Christian, and a return to all the violence and corruption which festered under the old-style Moslem rule, whether Asiatic or African." A world of jihad - A little less than every five hours, somewhere around the world a Muslim is carrying out a fatal jihadist attack. These are not the regular beatings and vandalism against Christians, Hindus and Buddhists but religion-oriented attacks in which someone dies at the hand of a member of the"religion of peace." Read more
Life in prison for this? - The tyrannical owner of the Muslim media outlet Al Jazeera is Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, the Emir of Qatar. Al Jazeera claims it is open to free expression, so free it has shown US soldiers being killed by IEDs. Yet the Emir had a young man in Qatar sentenced to life in prison for criticizing him in a poem. Read more. Demand that your cable provider remove Al Jazeera!
Turkey: Government war on freedom of press - The government of Prime Minister Erdogan has waged one of the world's biggest crackdowns on press freedom in recent history. Authorities have imprisoned journalists on a mass scale on terrorism or anti-state charges, launched thousands of other criminal prosecutions on charges such as denigrating Turkishness. Read more

These are not the regular beatings and vandalism against Christians, Hindus and Buddhists but religion-oriented attacks in which someone dies at the hand of a member of the"religion of peace." Report From Washington - January 6, 2012
IN THIS ISSUE: Santorum surges ahead / Ron Paul defends Hamas / His Highness Barack / Prayer Caucus Summary / Islamic war camps in America / Cry for Nigeria / Moderate Indonesia
THE PRESIDENCY
SANTORUM SURGES AHEAD - Rasmussen, perhaps the most respected polling company in the nation, shows social conservative Senator Rick Santorum at 21% nationally. What is astonishing about the poll is that Mitt Romney's support is stuck at 29% after six straight years of campaigning for the presidency at a cost of tens of millions of dollars. Romney received 25% of the vote in the Iowa caucus this time around, and his total vote count was actually less than in 2008. GOP voters are sending a message to the establishment, "We don't want Romney." Still the inside-the-Beltway establishment is positive that they need a moderate to win in November, showing exactly how detached they are from the base. RON PAUL DEFENDS HAMAS - Speaking of the Gaza Strip on a state owned Iranian TV network, presidential candidate Ron Paul said, "To me, I look at it like it's a concentration camp, and people are making bombs, like, they're the aggressors?" The astonishing video is available on Yourtube. Columnist Don Feder wrote an article on Ron Paul's insane world views that this interview on Iranian TV reinforces.
HIS HIGHNESS BARACK - During the last year of the Bush Administration, Senator Harry Reid called "pro-forma" sessions of the Senate to block any recess appointees he could, and this left hundreds of federal offices and judgeships vacate in hopes a Democrat would be elected. President Bush honored the Constitution which does not allow recess appointments when the Senate is in session. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is now holding the same "pro-forma" sessions of the Senate but President Barack Obama is ignoring the Constitution and has issued recess appointments of individuals to the National Labor Relations Board who are radically pro-union. This is vote buying at its worst.

ISLAMIC WAR CAMPS IN AMERICA - A radical jihadist group responsible for nearly 50 attacks on American soil is operating 35 terrorist training camps across the nation, but the U.S. government refuses to include the organization on the State Department's list of foreign terrorists. Jamaat ul-Fuqra, known in the U.S. as "Muslims of America," has purchased or leased hundreds of acres of property - from New York to California - in which the leader, Sheikh Mubarak Gilani, boasts of conducting "the most advanced training courses in Islamic military warfare." CRY FOR NIGERIA - Earlier today I began to write about the six killed at a Thursday church service. Pastor Johnson Jauro's wife and five others were killed when Muslim gunmen fired into the Deeper Life Church in Gombe during a prayer service. But the story has since become more tragic. As people gathered to mourn the dead today in Adamawa state, four Muslim gunmen surrounded the building they were in and opened fire with Kalashnikov rifles. At least 20 Christians were killed and and another 15 seriously wounded. The story will probably be reported as "ethnic violence" by liberal outlets such as the Washington Post although the attacks were the work of the Boko Haram . In America the liberal media defends radical Islam and its imposition of Sharia law worldwide. Read more
