Obama's rebels not "palatable" - Less than one-third of Syrian rebels "palatable" to Europe and USA, reports IHS Janes, the leading military think tank in the world, The stark assessment accords with the view of Western diplomats that less than one third of the opposition forces are "palatable" to Britain, while American envoys put the figure even lower. Bottom line: Most of those Obama supports in Syria are Islamic terrorists. Read more
Obama FBI continues to work with CAIR - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has recently been exposed for violating its own policies about collaborating with the Muslim Brotherhood front group known as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Read more

Finally! An investigation of Planned Parenthood - In February, dozens of U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to the Government Accounting Office (GAO) asking for it to conduct a thorough investigation of the possible misuse of federal tax dollars by the abortion industry - including Planned Parenthood. The GAO finally responded to that letter and has agreed to begin an investigation. Read more
Congressman remembers Constitution Day - Liberals rarely mention Constitution Day, (why would they?) but social conservative Congressman Bill Posey (R-FL) wrote stirring commentary for the September 17th commemoration. Read more
Religion and Culture
Court rules in favor of National Motto - A New York federal district court has dismissed a challenge to the inclusion of our national motto, "In God We Trust," on United States currency. Forty-one Members of the House of Representatives signed an amicus curiae brief in May, filed by the American Center for Law and Justice and the American Catholic Lawyers Association supporting the motto. School trips to mosques but not churches - High school students in Tennessee were recently taken on a field trip to the Islamic Center of Nashville and were given Korans after the tour. They were also given a worksheet on Islam that described Islam as more tolerant of its conquered peoples than was the United States in its treatment of minorities. (Note: We have a black president.) Attacks on Christians worldwide - A new report details how Islamist attacks on Christians are increasing around the world with new attacks in Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, Indonesia, Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan and elsewhere. Read more
Turkey: Renowned pianist jailed for blasphemy - An Istanbul court on Friday sentenced Turkish pianist Fazil Say to 10 months in prison on charges of insulting Islamic religious values in comments he made on Twitter. Turkey also has more journalists in jail than any other nation in the world. Turkey is an American ally and a member of NATO. Read more
Tanzania: Muslims throw acid on priest - Rev. Joseph Anselmo Mwangamba stepped outside an Internet café on the outskirts of Zanzibar City, capital of the semi-autonomous island in the Indian Ocean about 25 kilometers (16 miles) off the coast of Tanzania, when the assailants threw acid on his face and chest. Pakistan: Christians flee Islamic terror - There was uncertainty Monday, September 16, about the whereabouts of dozens of Christian families who fled their homes in a village near the Pakistani city of Lahore after a local pastor was accused of blasphemy against Muhammad. Read more

CHAIRMAN'S REPORT FOR JUNE 29th, 2011 - William J Murray reports on President Obama, Congress and terrorism. This issue includes Obama's drive to make us more dependent on energy from despotic nations and his release of oil from the Strategic Reserve. The genocide of Christians in the Sudan which Obama is also ignoring while assisting Muslims in Egypt is questioned. At the Capitol Peter King's hearings on radical Islam in our prisons and the Child Interstate Abortion Notification bill are investigated. On the international front the continued slaughter of Christians in Nigeria by the Boko Haram is discussed. Also covered is the continued push for sharia law in Egypt by elements of the Muslim Brotherhood.

PRESIDENCY 

AS STIMULUS FADES UNEMPLOYMENT RISES - Both the markets and the White House were "stunned" today when unemployment rose to 9.2% and the economy created only 16,000 jobs in June. To put the number of new jobs in perspective, it takes 125,000 new jobs a month just to cover population growth. Liberal Democrats will scream for even more government spending, but that is always just a short term solution. Real job growth comes through private investment which the Obama Administration is discouraging through regulation and the threat of new taxes on business. OBAMA WANTS ARAB RATHER THAN CANADIAN OIL - Only Saudi Arabia has more recoverable oil reserves than Alberta, Canada. Unfortunately for Americans, the Obama Administration does not want oil from Alberta because it comes primarily from oil sands and Obama's "green" supporters don't like that fact. Currently Obama's EPA is blocking the construction of a pipeline to the USA from Alberta that would bring investments of over $9 billion and create 100,000 jobs. Simply put, out of liberal ideology, Obama would rather have American dollars flow to Arab nations that fund extremist Islam than to Canada.

OBAMA, GEORGE SOROS AND THE LIBYAN "REBELS" - The foreign affairs adviser for a top U.S. lobby firm hired to represent the rebels of Libya served a few months ago as President Obama's special representative to Egypt, where he reportedly held a clandestine meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood. In addition, a public relations firm working on behalf of the rebels recently arranged a meeting for Libya's opposition with a progressive group funded by billionaire George Soros that is known for its close relationship with the White House. THE CONGRESS 

CONGRESSMAN SAYS LIBERALISM SPRINGS FROM HATRED FOR GOD - Missouri Congressman Todd Akin (R) refused to retract his statement that liberals have a "hatred for God." Akin said of NBC editing out the words "under God" from the Pledge, "Well, I think NBC has a long record of being very liberal and at the heart of liberalism really is a hatred for God and a belief that government should replace God. And so they've had a long history of not being at all favorable toward many of things that have been such a blessing to our country. These powerful words have liberals enraged." According to Akin, "This is a systematic effort to try to separate our faith and God, which is a source in our belief in individual liberties, from our country. And when you do that you tear the heart out of our country." Read more

DON'T FUND SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN MILITARY - Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) has offered an amendment to H.R. 2219, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2012, which would prohibit the implementation of the Navy's new guidance on same sex marriage for its chaplains. This comes after the Navy recently issued guidance to their chaplains to officiate at same-sex marriages on military bases. This was a contradiction to the Defense of Marriage Act, and so, Members of Congress sent a letter urging the rescindment of this new policy. The Navy decided to halt the policy until further notice, but it is safe to assume that they may reinstate the policy at some point in the future. This amendment would halt funds for the implementation of these guidelines. Contact your congressman and urge him to support Huelskamp's amendment.

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

GAYS FOR JON HUNTSMAN - I was just a little stunned when someone sent me a link to a story in Q Salt Lake. The Q stands for queer and it is a gay newspaper in Salt Lake City which has semi-endorsed Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman. Rather than editorialize I will quote directly from the gay site, "While there are no official endorsements from any caucuses or groups within the Republican Party yet, the Utah Log Cabin Republicans worked with Huntsman when he was governor, and are ready and willing to work continue that relationship," Melvin Nimer, the president of the ULCR, said. "Huntsman was the first governor of Utah to open up the governor's mansion to the LGBT community," Nimer said. "They [the Huntsman campaign team] have reached out to get some help from us and some people within the group are working with him." Having read this glowing endorsement of Huntsman in the official "queer" site, I think I will personally reach out to a different candidate. 

NO 911 MOSQUE

CHANGE THE STORY - Believe it or not that is the name of the website set up to do just that, change the story of the 9-11 jihad attack on America. Numerous young leftists have also been recruited to pass out literature daily at Ground Zero to distract from the horror of 9-11 and promote the construction of an Islamic rabat at the site. INTERNATIONAL 

ISLAMISTS DEMAND TAKEOVER OF THREE UK CITIES - Islamic extremists have called on British Muslims to establish three independent states within the UK. The notorious Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) group have named Yorkshire towns Bradford and Dewsbury, as well as Tower Hamlets in East London, as testbeds for blanket sharia rule. The medieval 'emirates' would operate entirely outside British law, according to a document on the MAC website. Read more

PAKISTAN CHRISTIAN SEX SLAVES - One may argue that rape is a phenomenon that affects every society, yet the fact that most women raped in Pakistan come from the mere 2% Christian minority speaks for itself. Moreover, if you go to the links of these anecdotes, you will find that in every single case the Pakistani police either did nothing to apprehend the culprits or, more often, actually helped them while turning against the victims. Even though Pakistan is not a full-blown Sharia state and tries to save face in front of the international infidel--Sharia has nonetheless conditioned even the police to see infidel Christian women as little more than objects of pleasure which Muslim men can violate at will. IMAM SAYS: "THE WORLD BELONGS TO US" - The United States has officially recognized the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and looks forward to "working with" it. Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian Shaykh Safwat Hegazy in a recent video threatened Jews and Christians, and ultimately the whole world, saying, "Jerusalem belongs to us, and the whole world belongs to us." He states the Islamic caliphate will return, and that "every land upon which Islam has set foot will return to us." He makes pointed references to Qurayza and Khaybar, which are clear threats against the Jews, and also states, "we will kill anyone who has polluted the al-Aqsa Mosque." Sounds like the White House has made some real interesting friends. See translated video

RELEASE ASIA BIBI NOW - Pakistani Christians are demanding the release of Asia Bibi, mother of five, who has been falsely accused of blasphemy and jailed for nearly two years. Blasphemy laws in Pakistan are used to blackmail Christians and steal their homes and land. This is just one more outrage. More at Pakistan Christian Post

PRESIDENCY 

EVEN MORE JOBS LOST - The economic miracle of massive government spending doesn't appear to be much of a miracle at all, as even more jobs vanished this past week and the reported unemployment rate stood at 9.5%. (NOTE: Gallup Polls put the real unemployment rate at 10.2 and those underemployed at 18.8%) Most of the newly lost jobs are layoffs by local governments whose stimulus checks have been spent. President Obama's stimulus spending only put off the layoffs by a year. Reality for local governments has arrived.  
THE ANSWER? EVEN MORE SPENDING - More, not fewer, people are unemployed after hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus spending. The answer from the Obama Administration and from Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is to print even more money and to increase the federal deficit even more. Under Obama the rate of spending has increased to the point that for every two dollars in tax revenue it receives, the federal government spends three dollars. How long can this last?
FEDERAL STUDY ON BAR ROOM BRAWLS - The Obama Administration spent $918,856 of our tax dollars on a study that found that bar fights tend to occur in darker, dirtier bars frequented by heavy drinking people. Who would have guessed? More at CNS News

THE CONGRESS 

CONGRESS ADJOURNED - The House and Senate have now both officially adjourned until after the November 2nd election. Numerous polls show that many of the Democrats departing Washington may be returning for a Lame Duck session, but not for full terms next year.
 

CULTURE AND RELIGION 

CAMPBELL'S MUSLIM ONLY SOUP - Campbell's Soup of Canada is now producing a line of halal certified soups for Muslims. The Islamic Society of North America is certifying the soups for Campbell's under its "Halal Certification Program." Apparently the giant soup company either did not check or did not care that the ISNA has direct ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, according to Jihad Watch. Already a Boycott Campbell's Soup page has been established at Facebook. 
MY OATH TO USA WAS A LIE - Faisal Shahzad, the jihadist who attempted to set off a car bomb in Times Square, has been sentenced to life in prison. At his sentencing hearing this week, Shahzad said he lied when he swore an oath to become a citizen and then said, "Brace yourselves because the war with Muslims has just begun. Consider me the first droplet of the flood that will follow." He then told the judge what virtually all Muslims in America are taught by their imams, "We do not accept your democracy or your freedom because we already have Sharia law." Welcome to the reality of Islam that President Barack Obama and his political correct crowd do not understand.

MUSLIM AREAS IN EUROPE "BAD FOR CHRISTIANS" - A new Pew report says that the growing Muslim population in Europe is bringing with it sharia law. The report states that the situation is "really bad for Christians where Muslims are now in the majority in Europe." A longer article was carried by World Net Daily on the study but it was largely ignored by the mainstream media. 
MORE VIOLENCE AGAINST PAKISTANI CHRISTIANS - Islamists had threatened to kill Edwin Paul, an attorney and evangelist in Pakistan. He was ordered to leave his home within 24 hours or face death because he had taken a Muslim to court to collect a debt. Despite the major floods on September 28th, the Muslims carried out the threat, killing him and his entire family. Meanwhile thousands of Pakistani Christians are homeless from the floods but virtually all of the tens of millions of dollars in aid flowing to Pakistan is going only to Muslims. The Pakistani government is also blocking fuel and other supplies from being delivered to NATO troops in Afghanistan. What would America do without "allies" like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia? Probably be a lot better off.

PRESIDENCY 

OBAMA AND CHINA - On July 22nd a legally organized protest against Chinese oppression was held on the west steps of the Capitol. Several congressmen including Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) and Chris Smith (R-NJ) spoke at the event which was sponsored by the Falun Gong. Although many speakers asked why President Obama will not speak out about religious persecution in China, when it was my turn to speak I offered the answer which is found in Proverbs 22:7 See my remarks at this event  
CONGRESSMAN WOLF ON OBAMA - This week Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA) made, on the floor of the House, a statement critical of the human rights record of President Barack Obama. The congressman said: "These most cherished ideals, which are at the very heart of the American experiment, have time and again been sidelined in this administration's foreign policy. This is a grievous mistake which has dire implications for the world's dissidents and democrats who yearn for freedom and look to America to be their advocate." THE PRESIDENT AND STONING DEATH - This weekend worldwide protests are being held against the Iranian court decision to stone a woman to death who confessed to adultery under torture. President Obama, who is trying to "dialog" with the strict Islamic state, has said nothing about death by stoning, or the fact that in a Sharia court of law a woman has far fewer legal protections than a man. The problem may be his "diversity" views. Obama apparently can't criticize a stoning death sentence because it is an integral part of Islam. However, he can make critical remarks about evangelical Christians who believe homosexuality is a sin. How strange.
 

THE CONGRESS 

DEMOCRAT WANTS TO LEGALIZE INTERNET GAMBLING - Congressman Barney Frank has offered a bill that would legalize Internet gambling. During the George W. Bush Administration this and may other organizations worked to pass a law that effectively banned Internet gambling. Apparently Congressman Franks would allow gambling addicts to bet away their homes online while intoxicated at 3:00 AM, so the government can make a few bucks. Franks' bill would tax online gambling while making it legal in all 50 states regardless of the state laws. Franks claims his HR 4976 would net the government $42 billion over ten years. Question Mr. Franks: How much money will be lost by Americans online to foreign gambling operations while the government is taking in that $42 billion? The loss to society is staggering. Please contact your congressman about HR 4976 and tell him exactly what you think of legalized online gambling.  
MUSLIMS AND DEMOCRACY - This week in Washington I attended a panel discussion on human rights in Saudi Arabia. (Actually there are virtually no rights in that nation.) The discussion was sponsored in the Capitol complex by Congressman Dan Burton (R-IN) who has assisted some American women who married Saudi men, to escape their miserable lives there. The panel discussion was presented by the Center for Democracy and Human Rights in Saudi Arabia. Of course several Muslims showed up to attack American support of Israel. This was done to distract those present from the hellish life women live in Muslim nations. Muslims blame all their problems and the world's problems on "the Jews."

CULTURE AND RELIGION
THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE - A fight is brewing over the proposed 13 story mosque, called the Cordoba House, near ground zero. Mayor Bloomberg and the left-wingers love the idea because, they claim, it shows our "diverstiy." Apparently Bloomberg and company have no idea why Muslims have named it the Cordoba House. It is named after the mosque in Cordoba, Spain from which the invading Islamic army of a Caliphate ruled over Spain. The Cordoba mosque was built on top of a church to mark victory over Christianity, just as a mosque was built on the ruins of the Temple mount to symbolize Muslim victory over Jehovah. Now the Muslims are using the name as a symbol of victory for the 9-11 terror attack on the United States. And where is the $100 million coming from to build the Cordoba House? INTERNATIONAL 
CHRISTIAN BROTHERS SHOT DEAD IN COURT - Brothers Sajid Emmanuel, 30, and Rashid Emmanuel, 32, were assassinated by masked gun men in a district court building in Faisalabad, Pakistan on July 19th before they ever entered a courtroom. The two men, one of whom was a pastor, were charged with "blasphemy," a catch all crime that is used to persecute Christians in Pakistan, a nation we arm and give tens of millions of dollars to. This outrage occurred during a two day visit by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who made no mention of the repression and murder of Christians in that nation. On the second day of the Clinton visit a Christian village was attacked at night by automatic weapons fire. 
MUSLIMS MURDER CHRISTIANS AS THEY SLEEP - Near Jos, Nigeria Muslims invaded a Christian village at 1:30 AM on July 17th, killing the wife and two children of Reverend Nuhu Dawat, a pastor of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN).His congregation's church was also burned to the ground. Four other members of another family were murdered as well by the "religion of peace" attackers. They also stole money and looted the homes. Perhaps some of the money stolen will be used to build the 13 story mega mosque near Ground Zero in New York.

THE PRESIDENCY

WAR IN THE WHITE HOUSE? - The Obama administration can't figure out where to try Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his co-conspirators, Attorney General Eric Holder told the Senate Judiciary Committee. Holder also testified that New York City was "not off the table." Yet, just a few days ago the Justice Department had stated that New York was "too expensive" because of security concerns. What is really going on? Moveon.org and the far left that want to "prove" President Bush was a "war criminal" want to hold public trials in New York to allow Muslim terrorist to rant against the United States. The very few people Obama has chosen who understand the security issues in New York City want military tribunals. Who will win - the far left loons in the White House or those who are concerned with the safety of American citizens? No bets on this one. 
LIMITED REPORTING - For the next week I will be outside the United States and my reporting on both the White House and the Congress will be greatly curtailed.

LIMITED ACCESS - As I am out of the country I do not have access to many of my contacts on Capitol Hill. Next week I hope to have inside information on the fight over a new Supreme Court justice.
 

CULTURE AND RELIGION

JUDGE SAYS PRAYER AND MAGIC SAME THING - A federal judge in Wisconsin issued an order barring President Obama from issuing a Presidential Proclamation recognizing the National Day of Prayer. The first Thursday in May was set by Congress as the National Day of Prayer. Judge Barbara Crabb declared the observance unconstitutional, declaring it as no different than recognizing "rune magic."  
MAY DAY 2010 - A cry to God for a nation in distress! MORE ATTACKS ON PAKISTANI CHRISTIANS - Earlier this month almost two dozen Muslims invaded Gordon College Chapel in the city of Rawalpindi which is near Islamabad, Pakistan. The Christian college compound was invaded on the day of the Orthodox celebration of Good Friday. Bibles and artifacts were destroyed and women and children terrified. Theresidents of the college were looted of their valuables. No arrests have been made as the persecution of Christians continues in Pakistan and the Obama Administration continues to pamper the Pakistani regime.
