Obama IRS refused tax exempt status to pro-life groups - The IRS didn't just target the Tea Party! The Coalition for Life of Iowa was told by the IRS they would not receive tax-exempt status unless they agreed not to picket/protest, or organize groups to picket or protest, outside of Planned Parenthood facilities. The IRS was acting as an arm of Planned Parenthood. Read more
George Soros funded groups spearheaded IRS probes - Barack Obama's confidante and supporter George Soros funds groups including the Campaign Legal Center, Democracy 21, the Center for Public Integrity, Mother Jones and Alternet; these groups pressured the IRS to target conservative nonprofit groups. The subsequent IRS investigation flagged more than 100 tea party-related applications for higher scrutiny, including applications that included the words "Tea Party" and "patriot." Read more
Obama Administration works with terror finance group - The Obama Administration's relationship with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity, has grown beyond strictly Muslim-related issues. On May 6, Vice President Biden met with about 20 interfaith leaders including ISNA President Mohamed Magid for two hours to rally religious support for gun control. Read more

Congressman almost victim of abortion - Representative Marlin Stutzman (R-IN) recently learned that his then 17-year-old mother nearly aborted him in 1975 after her house burned down and she had no place to live. His story is truly gripping. Read more
Congressmen demand answers on Pentagon relationship with militant atheist group - This week 59 legislators sent a letter of concern to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel about the Pentagon meetings with anti-Christian atheist Mikey Weinstein. The letter outlines Weinstein's outrageous remarks about Christianity and questions the reasons for the Pentagon agreeing to the meeting with him. Weinstein is apparently an "advisor on religious tolerance" -- no, that's not a joke . Read more
Senator on human trafficking - Florida Senator Marco Rubio has questioned whether the State Department is failing to enforce human trafficking provisions when it comes to foreign diplomats. Rubio was reacting to reports of two Filipino domestic workers held as virtual slaves in a Saudi owned mansion in Virginia. Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing help from the CIA, as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid, to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. New video on Saudi slavery - On May 16th the Religious Freedom Coalition released a new video on the situation of Saudi diplomats holding domestic workers in their Virginia mansion as slaves. The legal word for this slavery is "domestic servitude," but by any name it is slavery. Read more
Pope recognizes victims of Muslim massacre - Pope Francis celebrated his first canonizations in the course of his Mass in St. Peter's Square last Sunday, giving the Catholic Church over 800 new saints. All but two (a Colombian nun and a Mexican nun) were the "martyrs of Otranto," who were beheaded for their faith after Turkish Muslims invaded their southern-Italian port city in 1480. Read more

Nigeria: Christian leader assassinated - Gunmen of the Islamic Boko Haram group this week assassinated the Rev. Faye Pama Musa, secretary of the Borno state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Read more
Nigeria: 14 more dead in Islamic killing spree - Anti-Christian hostility drove an Islamic extremist killing spree in this village in northeastern Nigeria, though the attack was portrayed mainly as politically motivated, an area Christian leader says. Read more
Lebanon: Muslim TV preacher says "if only Hitler had finished off the Jews - In this TV clip of a Muslim preacher in one of the more "moderate" nations where Islam is the majority religion, the accusations fly against Jews. This is beyond anti-Semitic. Read more
Bangladesh: Violence against the church - Yes, that's the same Bangladesh where Kohl's and other stores buy most of their shirts. Scores of people have been killed in the clashes, which erupted in February. At least 37 died earlier this week as police tried to quash protests in the capital, Dhaka, where 70,000 Islamist demonstrators took to the streets on Sunday (5 May), calling for the introduction of an anti-blasphemy law. Syria: cannibalism and kidnapping - In recent days videos that I will NOT link to from our site show a Syrian "rebel" commander cutting out the heart of a Syrian soldier and eating it raw for a recruitment video. New videos also show rebels lining up and executing, one at a time, dozens of men without trial. The Syria Bishops kidnapped by the USA backed "rebels" are reported in good health but still held. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT FOR JUNE 29th, 2011 - William J Murray reports on President Obama, Congress and terrorism. This issue includes Obama's drive to make us more dependent on energy from despotic nations and his release of oil from the Strategic Reserve. The genocide of Christians in the Sudan which Obama is also ignoring while assisting Muslims in Egypt is questioned. At the Capitol Peter King's hearings on radical Islam in our prisons and the Child Interstate Abortion Notification bill are investigated. On the international front the continued slaughter of Christians in Nigeria by the Boko Haram is discussed. Also covered is the continued push for sharia law in Egypt by elements of the Muslim Brotherhood.

PRESIDENCY 

AS STIMULUS FADES UNEMPLOYMENT RISES - Both the markets and the White House were "stunned" today when unemployment rose to 9.2% and the economy created only 16,000 jobs in June. To put the number of new jobs in perspective, it takes 125,000 new jobs a month just to cover population growth. Liberal Democrats will scream for even more government spending, but that is always just a short term solution. Real job growth comes through private investment which the Obama Administration is discouraging through regulation and the threat of new taxes on business. OBAMA WANTS ARAB RATHER THAN CANADIAN OIL - Only Saudi Arabia has more recoverable oil reserves than Alberta, Canada. Unfortunately for Americans, the Obama Administration does not want oil from Alberta because it comes primarily from oil sands and Obama's "green" supporters don't like that fact. Currently Obama's EPA is blocking the construction of a pipeline to the USA from Alberta that would bring investments of over $9 billion and create 100,000 jobs. Simply put, out of liberal ideology, Obama would rather have American dollars flow to Arab nations that fund extremist Islam than to Canada.

OBAMA, GEORGE SOROS AND THE LIBYAN "REBELS" - The foreign affairs adviser for a top U.S. lobby firm hired to represent the rebels of Libya served a few months ago as President Obama's special representative to Egypt, where he reportedly held a clandestine meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood. In addition, a public relations firm working on behalf of the rebels recently arranged a meeting for Libya's opposition with a progressive group funded by billionaire George Soros that is known for its close relationship with the White House. THE CONGRESS 

CONGRESSMAN SAYS LIBERALISM SPRINGS FROM HATRED FOR GOD - Missouri Congressman Todd Akin (R) refused to retract his statement that liberals have a "hatred for God." Akin said of NBC editing out the words "under God" from the Pledge, "Well, I think NBC has a long record of being very liberal and at the heart of liberalism really is a hatred for God and a belief that government should replace God. And so they've had a long history of not being at all favorable toward many of things that have been such a blessing to our country. These powerful words have liberals enraged." According to Akin, "This is a systematic effort to try to separate our faith and God, which is a source in our belief in individual liberties, from our country. And when you do that you tear the heart out of our country." Read more

DON'T FUND SAME-SEX MARRIAGE IN MILITARY - Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) has offered an amendment to H.R. 2219, the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2012, which would prohibit the implementation of the Navy's new guidance on same sex marriage for its chaplains. This comes after the Navy recently issued guidance to their chaplains to officiate at same-sex marriages on military bases. This was a contradiction to the Defense of Marriage Act, and so, Members of Congress sent a letter urging the rescindment of this new policy. The Navy decided to halt the policy until further notice, but it is safe to assume that they may reinstate the policy at some point in the future. This amendment would halt funds for the implementation of these guidelines. Contact your congressman and urge him to support Huelskamp's amendment.

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

GAYS FOR JON HUNTSMAN - I was just a little stunned when someone sent me a link to a story in Q Salt Lake. The Q stands for queer and it is a gay newspaper in Salt Lake City which has semi-endorsed Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman. Rather than editorialize I will quote directly from the gay site, "While there are no official endorsements from any caucuses or groups within the Republican Party yet, the Utah Log Cabin Republicans worked with Huntsman when he was governor, and are ready and willing to work continue that relationship," Melvin Nimer, the president of the ULCR, said. "Huntsman was the first governor of Utah to open up the governor's mansion to the LGBT community," Nimer said. "They [the Huntsman campaign team] have reached out to get some help from us and some people within the group are working with him." Having read this glowing endorsement of Huntsman in the official "queer" site, I think I will personally reach out to a different candidate. 

NO 911 MOSQUE

CHANGE THE STORY - Believe it or not that is the name of the website set up to do just that, change the story of the 9-11 jihad attack on America. Numerous young leftists have also been recruited to pass out literature daily at Ground Zero to distract from the horror of 9-11 and promote the construction of an Islamic rabat at the site. INTERNATIONAL 

ISLAMISTS DEMAND TAKEOVER OF THREE UK CITIES - Islamic extremists have called on British Muslims to establish three independent states within the UK. The notorious Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) group have named Yorkshire towns Bradford and Dewsbury, as well as Tower Hamlets in East London, as testbeds for blanket sharia rule. The medieval 'emirates' would operate entirely outside British law, according to a document on the MAC website. Read more

PAKISTAN CHRISTIAN SEX SLAVES - One may argue that rape is a phenomenon that affects every society, yet the fact that most women raped in Pakistan come from the mere 2% Christian minority speaks for itself. Moreover, if you go to the links of these anecdotes, you will find that in every single case the Pakistani police either did nothing to apprehend the culprits or, more often, actually helped them while turning against the victims. Even though Pakistan is not a full-blown Sharia state and tries to save face in front of the international infidel--Sharia has nonetheless conditioned even the police to see infidel Christian women as little more than objects of pleasure which Muslim men can violate at will. IMAM SAYS: "THE WORLD BELONGS TO US" - The United States has officially recognized the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and looks forward to "working with" it. Muslim Brotherhood Egyptian Shaykh Safwat Hegazy in a recent video threatened Jews and Christians, and ultimately the whole world, saying, "Jerusalem belongs to us, and the whole world belongs to us." He states the Islamic caliphate will return, and that "every land upon which Islam has set foot will return to us." He makes pointed references to Qurayza and Khaybar, which are clear threats against the Jews, and also states, "we will kill anyone who has polluted the al-Aqsa Mosque." Sounds like the White House has made some real interesting friends. See translated video

RELEASE ASIA BIBI NOW - Pakistani Christians are demanding the release of Asia Bibi, mother of five, who has been falsely accused of blasphemy and jailed for nearly two years. Blasphemy laws in Pakistan are used to blackmail Christians and steal their homes and land. This is just one more outrage. More at Pakistan Christian Post

THE PRESIDENCY

DEMOCRAT SENATOR LECTURES OBAMA - Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) has written a letter to Barack Obama explaining to him a Constitutional issue he apparently does not understand. Obama has stated that he will make "binding" commitments at the "Global Warming" summit in Copenhagen while on his way to pick up his Nobel Peace prize for doing absolutely nothing. Senator Webb wrote: "I would like to express my concern regarding reports that the administration may believe it has the unilateral power to commit the government of the United States to certain standards that may be agreed upon ... The phrase 'politically binding' has been used. As you well know from your time in the Senate, only specific legislation agreed upon in the Congress, or a treaty ratified by the Senate, could actually create such a commitment on behalf of our country."   OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TARGETS NAVY SEALS? - Did the Obama White House give the order to punish three Navy Seals who apprehended one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq? The Seals have captured Ahmed Hashim Abed who masterminded the murder of four Blackwater guards who were then burned and dragged through the city of Fallujah. Their burned bodies were hung on a bridge over the Euphrates River as trophies. Instead of getting a medal the three Seals now face a January court martial for assault because Mr. Abed (who sustained no detectable injuries) claimed he was slapped while in their custody. Those who serve our nation in the Armed Services cannot fight wars using the rules that are more binding than those of New York City policemen. We can't win wars with our warriors handcuffed.

THE CONGRESS

CONGRESS INVESTIGATES PARTY CRASHERS BUT NOT TERRORISTS - Congressman Pete Hoekstra (R-IN) wants to know why the House Homeland Security Committee commenced an investigation of the two White House Party crashes within a week, but has refused to investigate the Jihad shootings by Muslim officer Nidal Hasan.   SENATE CUTS MEDICARE - Senator McCain (R-AZ) offered an amendment to the Obama Care bill in the Senate that would mandate that other means than cutting half a trillion dollars from Medicare be found to pay for it. Democrats stuck together and killed the amendment forcing the huge cuts from Medicare services over the next ten years. Oddly, Democrat Senator Dodd (D-CT) said, "... there is not a single guaranteed benefit that will be cut under this bill. I defy anyone to find one!" How can any rational person believe that with millions of baby boomers being forced to enter the Medicare system beginning in 2011 a reduction in funding will allow the same benefits? Senator Dodd is either a liar or he is insane, take your pick.

CULTURE AND RELIGION

FORMER NAE OFFICIAL NOW WORKS FOR GEORGE SOROS - Rev. Richard Cizik was vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals for ten years. During that time he claimed to be a Republican while promoting far left social issues. He wanted the NAE to endorse global warming and was fired when he endorsed same-sex relationships. GLOBAL WARMING

THEY ARE PEOPLE HATERS - What are the real goals of those who promote a reduction in human activities to stop "global warming?" Below are some select quotes including one from Ted Turner, founder of CNN:

"The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can't let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the U.S. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are." Michael Oppenheimer, Princeton professor and member of Environmental Defense Fund.

"A massive campaign must be launched to de-develop the United States. De-development means bringing our economic system into line with the realities of the world resource situation." Paul Ehrlich, professor at Stanford University.

"Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?" Maurice Strong, a native of Canada considered by some to be one of the leading environmentalists in the world. He is an official at the U.N.

"We've got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy." Timothy Wirth, President of the U.N. Foundation and former Democratic U.S. senator from Colorado.

"No matter if the science of global warming is all phony...climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world." Christine Stewart, former Canadian minister of the environment who led that country's delegation to Kyoto.

"It doesn't matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true." Paul Watson, co-founder of the environmental group Greenpeace.

"A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels would be ideal." Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major contributor to the U.N.

These "environmental leaders" know global warming is fake, but they want to use the concept to kill off most of the world's population. Think about this: President Barack Obama is headed to Copenhagen to help them!
 

INTERNATIONAL

ANOTHER CHURCH BOMBED IN IRAQ - Bombs were detonated in Mosul, Iraq at the Church of Saint Ephrem and the convent of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine. The church is a total loss and the convent has been damaged heavily. The attack occurred two days ago and has been reported on Asian news sites but not a single American news agency has reported the attacks.

There was a commando style raid of about ten gunmen who stormed the Church of Saint Ephrem and ordered everyone out. They set the explosives around the building to make sure it would completely collapse. Everyone inside was ordered to leave and then the gunmen calmly proceeded to detonate explosives around the building. This was the same tactic used on the Bishop's home a few years before. Christians are not returning to Iraq from Jordan and Syria because of these kinds of continued attacks.

As Christmas approaches there are real needs for the Christian refugees. It gets bitter cold during the winter in Jordan and Syria. THE PRESIDENCY

NAPOLITANO MUST GO- After just a month or so on the job, Department of Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano labeled more than half the adults in the United States as "rightwing extremists." She asked police to watch out for anyone who is pro-life, pro-second amendment rights, or anti-illegal immigration, among other things. Excuse me, but it is her job to keep illegals out of the country, not investigate those who support our immigration laws. She then falsely accused the Canadian government of allowing the 9-11 Jidad attack killers to come into the United States. Canadians are outraged and have called her incompetent.

Bottom line: Napolitano needs to go. She has spent her first few weeks on the job beginning a political witch hunt against conservatives and is now showing that she is in a job that is way above her pay grade. She just doesn't understand that her main duty is to protect the citizens of the United States. An advertising campaign, which I fully support, has begun asking for her resignation. OBAMA TO CONTROL INTERNET - A Senate bill would give President Obama authority over all networks. If the Cybersecurity Act of 2009 passes, the president will have authority to shut down Internet traffic for "national security." President Obama would also have access to digital data from industries including banking, communications and even the energy grid. Under the bill there would be a cybersecurity czar inside the White House. So far this isn't being reported much outside of business circles. If George W. Bush had sought this kind of authority the ACLU would have gone nuts. Read more

ANTI-MILITARY NUT CASE GIVEN PENTAGON POST - Is it possible that President Obama would place a person in an influential position at the Pentagon if that person once worked for George Soros and is anti-military? How about someone who thinks the media should need a government license and be financed by the government? Apparently it is possible. Rosa Brooks claimed that "failed" American policy brought about the 9-11 Jihad attacks on America, and she is Obama's new adviser to Michelle Fluornoy, the undersecretary of defense at the Pentagon. Can it get worse? Read more

PLAN B FOR EVEN YOUNGER GIRLS - The Obama Administration has approved the sale of the Plan B abortion drug to girls as young as 17 with no prescription from a doctor. The assumption: Girls this age are fully aware of their family medical history and capable of making a medical decision to use a powerful drug that will not only abort a baby but could cause them harm. While Plan B is advertised as a "morning after" pill, it can be used at a later and more dangerous time in a pregnancy in an effort to end the pregnancy without a doctor to give proper advice. Because no parental permission is required to obtain Plan B, the government policy is actually an approval stamp for promiscuous behavior. Read good article at Catholic.org

THE CONGRESS

DID REPUBLICANS WAKE UP YET? - Leadership is about much more than sending out news releases, but that is about all the the Republican leadership has done in the past three months. Finally, on the House side conservative members of Congress in the Republican Study Committee have found a common voice in expressing outrage over the Homeland Security Department being used by Janet Napolitano for political repression. Some of the letters from congressmen to Napolitano concerning her release of a report warning law enforcement agencies about "rightwing extremists" are note worthy. Read letter by Rep. Tiahrt Congressman Tom Carter of Texas said, "The first step in the process is creating unfounded public suspicion of political opponents, followed by arresting and jailing any who continue speaking against the regime." He thinks Napolitano is the leader edge for that kind of third world power play. Read more

HARVARD CHAPLAIN APPROVES DEATH SENTENCE FOR CONVERTING FROM ISLAM - Imagine the outrage if a Christian chaplain called for even mild discipline of those who violate the tenants of Christianity. It would be on the front page of every newspaper in America. But when the Muslim chaplain at Harvard University said the death penalty was "appropriate" for those converting from Islam, the media showed no interest at all. Muslim students at Harvard who disagreed with the chaplain refused to give their names out of fear of the "Islamic community." Read more

WACKO HOMO A BEAUTY PAGEANT JUDGE? - What possible logic could there be for Donald Trump to appoint an effeminate homosexual as a judge in the Miss USA Beauty pageant? TALIBAN TAKE MORE OF PAKISTAN - The government of Pakistan, seeking to appease Islamic radicals who had helped orchestrate the 9-11 Jihad attack on the United States, gave these terrorists the Swat Valley. Of course appeasement never works, and soon the Taliban terrorists moved into another province just 60 miles from the Capitol. Pakistan sent in troops, and the Taliban backed off into the Swat Valley after destroying some schools. "It's a tactical move, these kinds of movements make tactical retreats," said Hasan Askari Rizvi, a military analyst based in Lahore. "They'll be back." Read more Pakistan is a nuclear nation. LYING THEN OR NOW? - Scott McClellan, the former spokesman for President George W. Bush, has penned a "tell all" book trashing the president. The publisher, PublicAffairs, has also published six books by radical leftist billionaire George Soros. The founder of PublicAffairs, Peter Osnos, assisted in editing and "tweaking" the attack book on Bush. OBAMA SAYS BLACK CHURCHES "HOMOPHOBIC" - Sen. Barack Obama told the homosexual magazine, The Advocate, that "homophobic" messages are coming from black churches because "most African-American churches are still fairly traditional in their interpretations of Scripture." In the same April 10th interview he praised Rev. Jeremiah Wright for being on the right side of the homosexual debate. Oddly Obama had just before this interview distanced himself from Rev. OBAMA'S NEW PREACHER PROBLEM - A radical left Catholic Priest spoke at Senator Barack Obama's church this past Sunday, delivering a message so vile and full of race baiting that Obama had to immediately distance himself from the sermon. The priest is white, but his rhetoric was full of the same vile liberation theology that exploits race and that is used by Obama's former pastor, Jeremiah Wright. ENVIRONMENTALISM A RELIGION TO SUPPRESS FREEDOM? - Former Czech President Vaclav Klaus says the environmental movement is the new communism, a system of the elites like Al Gore and Barak Obama to set up a central authority to control us all. THE POLYGAMY PROBLEM AND ISLAM - There is virtually no difference between the teachings on marriage of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints and the teachings of Islam. Many Muslims in North American practice polygamy and it is common in all Arab nations. Members of the Saudi royal family have brought multiple wives with them when they stayed at President George W. Bush's ranch in Texas. Why did a Texas prosecutor move against one group of polygamists and not those within Islam? Ignorance of Islam may have been the answer. The Texas Supreme Court has sided with the FLDS and Muslims, and the children were ordered returned to the polygamists compound. The Texas raid on a the FLDS has probably moved the nation a step closer to legalized polygamy in the court system. With California and other states blessing homosexual marriage, there can be no moral boundary. The only question now is when will Jon Arbuckle marry Garfield.

JIHAD MURDERS HIT 3,000 MARK IN THAILAND - - With the killing of three people at a wedding reception in Thailand this week the total killed by Muslims practicing Jihad now stands at 3,000. Don't expect to learn this from the Western press who refer to the Jihadists as "separatists." The French news agency manages to blame Buddhists for being murdered by the Muslims. Read more.

IRAQI CHRISTIANS WARN OF HOLOCAUST - Just days before an international conference on political and economic reform for Iraq was to be held in Sweden, hundreds of Iraqi Christians demonstrated outside the country's parliament. "A new wave of ethnic cleansing is going on in Iraq," Iraqi Christian representative Behiye Hadodo told the gathering. "If these atrocities continue, the Chaldean, Syriac and Assyrian communities there will be wiped out altogether, creating a new catastrophe for humanity." Read more
