DEMOCRAT SENATOR LECTURES OBAMA - Senator Jim Webb (D-VA) has written a letter to Barack Obama explaining to him a Constitutional issue he apparently does not understand. Obama has stated that he will make "binding" commitments at the "Global Warming" summit in Copenhagen while on his way to pick up his Nobel Peace prize for doing absolutely nothing. Senator Webb wrote: "I would like to express my concern regarding reports that the administration may believe it has the unilateral power to commit the government of the United States to certain standards that may be agreed upon ... The phrase 'politically binding' has been used. As you well know from your time in the Senate, only specific legislation agreed upon in the Congress, or a treaty ratified by the Senate, could actually create such a commitment on behalf of our country."   OBAMA ADMINISTRATION TARGETS NAVY SEALS? - Did the Obama White House give the order to punish three Navy Seals who apprehended one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq? The Seals have captured Ahmed Hashim Abed who masterminded the murder of four Blackwater guards who were then burned and dragged through the city of Fallujah. Their burned bodies were hung on a bridge over the Euphrates River as trophies. Instead of getting a medal the three Seals now face a January court martial for assault because Mr. Abed (who sustained no detectable injuries) claimed he was slapped while in their custody. Those who serve our nation in the Armed Services cannot fight wars using the rules that are more binding than those of New York City policemen. We can't win wars with our warriors handcuffed.

THE CONGRESS

CONGRESS INVESTIGATES PARTY CRASHERS BUT NOT TERRORISTS - Congressman Pete Hoekstra (R-IN) wants to know why the House Homeland Security Committee commenced an investigation of the two White House Party crashes within a week, but has refused to investigate the Jihad shootings by Muslim officer Nidal Hasan.   SENATE CUTS MEDICARE - Senator McCain (R-AZ) offered an amendment to the Obama Care bill in the Senate that would mandate that other means than cutting half a trillion dollars from Medicare be found to pay for it. Democrats stuck together and killed the amendment forcing the huge cuts from Medicare services over the next ten years. Oddly, Democrat Senator Dodd (D-CT) said, "... there is not a single guaranteed benefit that will be cut under this bill. I defy anyone to find one!" How can any rational person believe that with millions of baby boomers being forced to enter the Medicare system beginning in 2011 a reduction in funding will allow the same benefits? Senator Dodd is either a liar or he is insane, take your pick.

CULTURE AND RELIGION

FORMER NAE OFFICIAL NOW WORKS FOR GEORGE SOROS - Rev. Richard Cizik was vice president for governmental affairs of the National Association of Evangelicals for ten years. During that time he claimed to be a Republican while promoting far left social issues. He wanted the NAE to endorse global warming and was fired when he endorsed same-sex relationships. Out of the NAE he now works for far left lunatic billionaire George Soros. See the official Soros announcement.

GLOBAL WARMING

THEY ARE PEOPLE HATERS - What are the real goals of those who promote a reduction in human activities to stop "global warming?" Below are some select quotes including one from Ted Turner, founder of CNN:

"The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can't let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the U.S. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are." Michael Oppenheimer, Princeton professor and member of Environmental Defense Fund.

"A massive campaign must be launched to de-develop the United States. De-development means bringing our economic system into line with the realities of the world resource situation." Paul Ehrlich, professor at Stanford University.

"Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?" Maurice Strong, a native of Canada considered by some to be one of the leading environmentalists in the world. He is an official at the U.N.

"We've got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy." Timothy Wirth, President of the U.N. Foundation and former Democratic U.S. senator from Colorado.

"No matter if the science of global warming is all phony...climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world." Christine Stewart, former Canadian minister of the environment who led that country's delegation to Kyoto.

"It doesn't matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true." Paul Watson, co-founder of the environmental group Greenpeace.

"A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels would be ideal." Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major contributor to the U.N.

These "environmental leaders" know global warming is fake, but they want to use the concept to kill off most of the world's population. Think about this: President Barack Obama is headed to Copenhagen to help them!
 

INTERNATIONAL

ANOTHER CHURCH BOMBED IN IRAQ - Bombs were detonated in Mosul, Iraq at the Church of Saint Ephrem and the convent of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Catherine. The church is a total loss and the convent has been damaged heavily. The attack occurred two days ago and has been reported on Asian news sites but not a single American news agency has reported the attacks.

There was a commando style raid of about ten gunmen who stormed the Church of Saint Ephrem and ordered everyone out. They set the explosives around the building to make sure it would completely collapse. Everyone inside was ordered to leave and then the gunmen calmly proceeded to detonate explosives around the building. This was the same tactic used on the Bishop's home a few years before. Christians are not returning to Iraq from Jordan and Syria because of these kinds of continued attacks.

As Christmas approaches there are real needs for the Christian refugees. It gets bitter cold during the winter in Jordan and Syria. THE PRESIDENCY

OBAMA AND THE TINKERBELL EFFECT - If you have Tinkerbell to call on, life is pretty easy. You just make a wish, and poof -- it comes to pass. As I watched President Barack Obama (or Barry Soetoro or whatever his real name is), I was stunned by the Tinkerbell effect that surrounds him. During the speech he told seniors that he would not change Medicare. A few sentences later he said he would abolish Medicare Advantage which has millions of participants. Obama plans to "save" half a trillion in Medicare payments to pay for his "Obama-care" program, while at the same time making Medicare better. Was that distraction during his talk Tinkerbell jumping from Nancy Pelosi's shoulder to his shoulder? His 9/9/09 speech to the joint session was so full of outright fantasies it is just hard to address them all. The current state of medical care in the United States is not the real issue here; it is the liberal fantasy of creating a utopia that Obama, Pelosi, Reid and the rest of the "progressives" envision. They believe that government can provide medical care and a minimum living standard for all Americans, while shutting down "polluting" factories, ending war, and sort of peacefully merging Christianity and Islam.  

MEDICARE AS A MODEL? - During his address to Congress Barack Obama talked of using Medicare as a model. Why on earth would he say that? First of all, Medicare is going broke. It is so underfunded that there is no way to pay the benefits of even the Baby-boomer generation. Second, it is subsidized by private insurance. Medicare payout rates are so low that doctors and hospitals have to charge others more. To get a true picture of Medicare as a model, read this Wall Street Journal Online Op-ed.
 
HUCKABEE ON OBAMA - I received an e-mail from Governor Mike Huckabee on Obama's address to Congress. He had this to say: "President Obama's biggest problem is that last night, he made many clearly-stated promises that sound great - health care for all, lower costs, free colonoscopies - but that's not what Congress is about to vote on. He talked as if the process is just starting, but there's already a bill before Congress, and it's a murky, 1,018-page monstrosity, and nobody can explain for certain what it says." And there is more. There are a total of four bills that have passed House committees and another version in the Senate. Everyone of them would use federal money for abortions and/or force private insurance companies to pay for abortions contrary to the comments of Barack Obama." See Huckabee video on Obama-care
 
OBAMA AND 9-11 - I believe it was wrong for Barack Obama to hold a major address to Congress just 36 hours before the anniversary hour of the 9-11 Jihad attack on the United States. Last week I posted a Youtube video stating that this would put him in the center of the news on 9-11, rather than the victims of Islam. Sure enough, all the headlines today are about Obama-care, not the victims of 9-11. Couldn't this speech have waited one week? See my Youtube video

THE CONGRESS

CRAZY AS AN OUT HOUSE RAT? - That is how one journalist referred to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. I can't agree with him though, because I believe the situation with her is far worse than that. Nancy Pelosi is a rich white liberal who lives in a fantasy world of her own creation, and who has purchased a seat in Congress. She can afford to maintain a private home staff to take care of everything from washing her underwear to managing her wealth. Her husband is a developer who make huge sums of money from the government programs she tosses his way. She sees nothing wrong with corruption as long as the ones getting paid off are liberals like herself, who "champion the poor." The sad part of this: Nancy Pelosi is next in line after Vice President Biden to take over the presidency. Should something happen to Obama and Biden, we would have someone to the far left of Hugo Chavez in the White House, a woman who lives in a constant state of fantasy. Pray for our nation!  

WHEN SANITY RULED CONGRESS - The Journals of the Continental Congress record that on Wednesday, September 7, 1774 at 9:00 AM the Congress voted to thank Rev. Mr. Duche for the prayer he gave at the beginning of the session. This was the first official prayer in the Congress to anyone's knowledge. ACORN - A CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE? - Barack Obama's first real job was as a "community organizer" for ACORN. There are currently criminal complaints against ACORN in several states. This week in Florida, fourteen ACORN employees were charged with voter fraud. Also, in Baltimore two ACORN employees instructed a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute about how to get federal aid and tax benefits while setting up a house of prostitution for underage girls. And just today, videotape was released showing ACORN staffers in Washington, DC explaining to two people how they can hide the profession of prostitution and get a loan to establish a brothel. ACORN is a criminal enterprise now, it was a criminal enterprise when Barack Obama worked for it, and it was a criminal enterprise when Republicans controlled the House and funded it. ACTRESS FIRED FOR REFUSING PRO-GAY ROLE - Patricia Mauceri was fired and abruptly replaced on "One Life to Live" after she objected to acting in a segment with a gay storyline. She said her religious beliefs and even those of the character she played would not allow her to. She was instructed to read a script that made it seem her conservative Christian character approved of homosexuality. She is not the first soap opera star to leave a show over this issue. Earlier, Chris Engen quit "The Young and the Restless" because his character, Adam, was supposed to kiss a man. The message from Hollywood is clear. If you will not accept homosexuality or play the part of a homosexual, you will not get work. New York Daily News.

THIS IS SCARY - A large group of Hollywood stars, on video, stated: "I pledge to be a servant of our president." The pledge of the group comes at the end of the video. To get there you have to listen to the word "change" being used so many times it is sort of sickening and you just want to turn it off. I have seen lots of soviet communist and Nazi propaganda films, and this falls right into that category.
