Congressmen stand for religious liberty - On June 12th several congressmen took to the House floor to speak out on behalf of religious liberty and conscience in a Special Order event. The leader of this "Conscience and Religious Freedom" Special Order is Rep. Jeff Fortenberry, who is deeply concerned about the violation of conscience and religious liberty in Obamacare's abortion mandate. Read more
New GOP site featured pro-life bill - One of the first bills featured at Majority Leader Eric Cantor's new Internet site was the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, introduced by Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ). Leader Cantor has become a real advocate of social conservative issues. Read more
Senator McCain's rebels kill teen for "heresy" - Senator John McCain's new friends in Syria - the so-called "rebels" who are fighting to overthrow Syrian President Assad - executed a 15-year-old boy in front of his parents. His crime? He was considered a Muslim "heretic" for uttering a comment that offended the Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists. Read more
Congressman finds FBI ignorant on al-Qaeda - Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) grilled FBI Director Robert Mueller earlier this week and found that the director was ignorant of the Al Qaeda origins of the Boston mosque. It was at this mosque that the Boston Marathon bombers probably were radicalized by an Islamist Imam. Read more

Afghanistan: Parliament gives OK for child brides - Is this what America fought for in Afghanistan? Is this why so many of our best died there? Afghanistan's parliament has rejected a measure that would have barred men from marrying girls younger than 16, saying the proposal ran counter to Islamic ideology. Read more
Egypt: Decline of rights under Muslim Brotherhood - Two members of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom visited Egypt and confirmed that pivotal rights, including religious freedom are on the decline under the Obama installed Muslim Brotherhood government. Syria: Christians returning as government gains ground - According to John McCain and Barack Obama the "rebels" are the good guys in Syria. Yet the Christians flee when the "rebels" arrive with Sharia law and return when Syrian government forces take back their towns - only to find their churches and homes destroyed by the US supported "rebels." Turkey: Secularists riot in Turkey against Muslim Brotherhood - The Obama model of combining Islam and democracy is falling apart in Turkey as secularists riot to protest Islamist doctrine being forced upon them. Obama nightmare: The Boston Bombers not in Tea Party - In a column written before one of the Chechen "suspects" was killed and the other captured, columnist Don Feder summarized - accurately - the reaction of the Obama Administration and the left to the news the bombers would be Muslim. Obama's FBI not allowed to ask if terrorist is a Muslim - The reason the FBI could not make a "determination" as to Tamerlan Tsarnaev being a threat, can be summed up in this one directive: "Training must emphasize that no investigative or intelligence collection activity may be based solely on race, ethnicity, national origin, or religious affiliation." No remembrance of genocide - The White House made no statement on the 98th anniversary of the murder of four million Christians by the Turkish government. A 1918 film has been found concerning the genocide of the Armenian Christians - including crucifixions. Read more

Congressman questions Saudis - Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX) has written a stern letter to the Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States requesting information on the Ethiopian Christians who were arrested in February for praying in a private home.
Congressman exposes plight of Middle Easter Christians - U.S. Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Va.) recently traveled to the Middle East and met with Syrian refugees in an urgent attempt to bring attention to this situation and spur U.S. policymakers to action. During his visit, Congressman Wolf confirmed the true plight of Christians. Read more

Syria: US and EU funded jihadists kidnap Bishops - Bishop Boulos Yazigi of the Greek Orthodox Church and Bishop John Ibrahim of the Assyrian Orthodox Church were abducted on Monday, April 22nd, while traveling outside Aleppo. Gunmen pulled them from their car and shot and killed their driver. Read more
Syria: Confirmed EU Muslims fighting in Syria - The EU Counter Terrorism Coordinator, Gilles de Kerchove, revealed that hundreds of Europeans are fighting with the armed terrorist groups in Syria. Read more
Morocco: Death for conversion - Christian converts in Morocco feared for their future Thursday, April 25, after the country's highest Islamic institute issued a fatwa demanding the death penalty for Muslims who renounce their religion. Read more
Indonesia: Behead three Christian girls and get set free - The Indonesian Muslim terrorist who beheaded 3 Christian girls as a "Ramadan Present" was allowed out of jail to "visit" his ill wife and, of course, vanished. This is in "moderate" Indonesia. Read more

The Presidency
CIA specialist: Democracy will make Islam moderate - The featured column in the Wall Street Journal by former CIA Middle East specialist Reuel Marc Gerecht this week was pure establishment boilerplate, and no surprise. His conclusion was simplistic: Democracy diminished religious influence in the West; therefore, creating democracies in Muslim nations will lead to a weakened, moderate form of Islam. This is the kind of "expert" advice that led George W. Bush into disaster in Iraq, and encouraged Barack Obama to usher the Muslim Brotherhood into Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, with an even worse outcome. Obama says nothing about deaths in Egypt - in the last days of President Mubarak's secular government, dozens of protesters died in riots. President Obama was quick to ridicule the Egyptian leader and said he had to go. Now that Obama's Muslim Brotherhood buddy, Mohammed Morsi, has declared martial law and the death toll is almost the White House is strangely silent.
Congress
House out, but Senate in - The House is in "District work session" which means they are either back home in their state offices dealing with constituents, or out fund raising for reelection. Harry Reid's Senate is in session in Washington this week working on "immigration reform."
Legalizing the illegals - Senators Harry Reid, John McCain and a couple others have a bipartisan "comprehensive immigration" bill that most Republicans seem ready to accept. The bill has nothing to do with immigration but rather gives legal status to those who are now here illegally. It does nothing to bring well educated, English speaking workers to our nation. However - those needing good nannies or Russian girl friends should fly them in soon, so they will have legal status when the bill is signed into law.

Educating Sean Hannity on the Koran- Sean Hannity has gone after Egyptian President Morsi's anti-Semitic comments for several days on Fox News, but never refers to Morsi source material which is the Koran. Dr. Andrew Bostom attempts to educate Hannity in a well referenced column as to the source of the hatred toward Jews - the Koran. Read Bostom's column here.
Muslim prayers in public school library - In Maryland, the Muslim Brotherhood-founded Muslim Student Association is now on high school campuses, performing dawah and spreading sharia. One of their victories, with the help of terror-linked CAIR, is convincing the school to use the library as a mosque for daily prayers. Read more

Afghanistan: Six-year-old girl sold to pay debts - This is happening under the watchful eye of our military on a regular basis. (But so does the drug running.) A poor family unable to pay their debts has sold their six-year-old daughter to a relative for marriage to a boy ten years her senior. You will not hear a word about this outrage from the National Organization for Women (NOW) or other liberals because they only bash Christianity, never Islamic traditions. Read more
Liberated women in Mali - Women in Goa, Mali took to the streets to celebrate after French forces liberated the city from the murdering Islamic terrorists who had occupied it. The big question here is will Huffpost and other liberal outlets declare these women "Islamophobic?" Read more
UK: Muslim rapes 13 year old but no jail time because "He didn't know it was wrong" - In the UK being critical of Islam on Facebook will get you arrested and tossed in jail. However, this Muslim rapes a 13-year-old girl and there is no jail time because his "religious education" taught him that "women are worthless." Read more

NEW OVAL OFFICE ART - The Obamas are moving away from traditional art and have instead put up "modern" canvases into the White House that have "meaning" to them. Ed Ruscha's 'I'll Think I'll..." will adorn the walls of the Oval Office. The orange canvas contains phrases in various sizes that say, "Maybe Yes," Maybe No,""Wait A Minute," and Maybe No." The new art gives some insight into the new president's thinking patterns and logic. NAPOLITANO ORDERED TO EXPLAIN! - Democrats joined Republicans in ordering Janet Napolitano to hand over all documents used to draft the now infamous "Rightwing Extremism" report that the Department of Homeland Security has been forced to withdraw. The House Homeland Security Committee voted unanimously to order the material to be handed over to them. Just last week Napolitano, who had stood by the report, told the committee that it was not vetted or approved by her. Read more

BUSH WIRETAPS SAVE SYNAGOGUE? - This week four men who had been converted to Islam in prison were arrested by the FBI in front of a New York synagogue with a car full of explosives. They were there to kill Jews. Sources say the group had been infiltrated because of wiretaps which were permissible under the Bush Administration to stop terror attacks. The group of Islamic fanatics had been under observation for a full year. These are the wiretaps the liberals were so upset about and which President Obama has stopped.

Most prison Imams are radicals who use extremist Saudi Arabian educational materials. Although all four caught in the attempted bombing were born in America, they had learned in prison a hatred for Jews and were prepared to kill women and children on this the Sabbat. Some insights

NANCY PELOSI'S GIFT TO THE GOP - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a screaming, word bomb tossing, radical leftist. Her anti-American rhetoric worked well for her as long as a Republican ran the government. Now there is a liberal Democrat in the White House and she is still screaming anti-American, anti-military slogans. Her latest accusation is that the CIA lied to her in a briefing. This comes after she said the CIA never did brief her. Then she said they informed her but didn't brief her. She has a problem. To keep the leftist nuts in San Francisco voting for her, she has to be a screaming radical. To act on behalf of President Obama as Speaker of the House, she has to act rational. She can't do both. CULTURE AND RELIGION

MORE ON THOUGHT CRIMES - Here is the reality: homosexuals in the United States want the same censorship of Christians that is currently being pushed by the leftwing president of Brazil. The Brazilian government plans to add warning labels to Christian TV and radio programming it regards as "homophobic," according to reports from one of Brazil's largest newspapers, Folha de Sao Paulo. According to Folha, any media program critical of homosexuality in any way will be forced to display a warning label that reads, "not recommended for people under the age of 18." The newspaper said the policy stems from a plan for the "promotion of the citizenship of LGBT" (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites, and transsexuals). Brazil's Secretary of Justice reportedly told Folha that "homophobic" programming would be restricted to after 11 pm so as not to be viewed by children but, "the ideal is that they not be shown at any time."

EGYPT KILLED PIGS BECAUSE THEY WERE JEWISH? - Believe it or not an Egyptian Imam issued a statement explaining why all the pigs owned by Christian farmers in Egypt were killed this month. Sheik Ahmed Ali Othman explained that Mohammad turned his Jewish enemies into pigs and that the pigs living today are the descendants of Jews and must be slaughtered. Read news clip. Our government gives tens of millions of dollars to Egypt in "aid" each year, money that we borrow from China and that our grandchildren must pay back. Think about it!
