Disgraced former governor wins seat in Congress - In a stunning special election, the former governor of South Carolina, who secretly left his state without a commander-in-chief for several days while he jetted away in a state owned plane for a hook-up with an Argentinian woman he had met online, has won a special election for a vacant House seat. Congressman was almost victim of abortion - Representative Marlin Stutzman (R-IN) recently learned that his then 17-year-old mother nearly aborted him in 1975, when after her house burned she was homeless and alone. Republican Hispanics are not really Hispanic? - Former Democrat Governor Bill Richardson (an Hispanic despite his name), suggested that because Texas Senator Ted Cruz doesn't support blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, that he's not truly Hispanic. Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing help from the CIA, as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid, to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Retired General fights for religious freedom in military - Retired Lt. General William Boykin is calling upon citizens to rally in defense of religious liberty within the U.S. Armed Forces. Boykin warns that there is a concerted effort to silence Christians and prevent them from sharing or openly practicing their faith in the military. Read more
Domestic Servitude by Saudi diplomats - Since the initial reports of two domestic slaves being rescued from a home owned by the Saudi government and located in McLean, Virginia, the State Department and the Saudis have been silent. Neither the Saudi Ambassador nor the State Department would reveal the names of the Saudi officials living in the home; however, local records indicate that the most probable resident may be the Saudi Embassy defense attaché, Brig. The Presidency
The President and the Newton massacre - America is a violent society and if you don't believe that just watch the prime time TV shows each evening that depict gruesome murders and masked militarized police invading homes. (My personal favorite was a real-life show in which over twenty heavily armed masked police invaded the three room house of an unarmed obese female shoplifter.) Human bodies are dissected on detective shows as people watch and eat sandwiches. There is virtually no respect for humanity in our national media and the liberals are all more concerned about tadpoles that may go extinct than feeding poor kids. In response President Obama asks "why" the Newtown shootings occurred and appointed a commission to look into the "problem." The problem is obvious: The problem is liberal public schools that teach situational ethics and no moral absolutes. Read William J Murray's column
RINO to run Pentagon? - Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim Brotherhood sympathizer, is expected to nominate "Republican" former Nebraska Senator Chuck Hagel to run the Pentagon after Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta leaves. Hagel once advised the Republican Party leadership that it should have a "big tent" policy that avoids social conservative issues. According to Hagel: "The Republican Party "shouldn't be a philosophy about morals." Hagel has supported by a wide range of anti-Israel forces around the world. Among those are radical Islamists who recently appeared on Press TV, Iran's official government television network to praise Hagel. Read more
Senator John Kerry replaces Hillary - President Barack Hussein Obama nominated Sen. John Kerry as his next secretary of state, saying Kerry's entire life "has prepared him for this role." I wonder if getting "prepared" included demonstrations against our armed services during the Vietnam War and tossing the citations he received while serving in the trash?
Congress
The Norquist factor - "Conservative" icon Grover Norquist, who agrees with George Soros on just about everything except taxes, endorsed Speaker John Beohner's plan to raise taxes on those making over $1 million a year. The Boehner tax bill, called Plan B, was pulled from the floor because Democrats didn't think it raised taxes far enough and Tea Party Republicans thought it raised taxes too much. Oddly Norquist just a few days earlier threatened to campaign against Republicans who "violated" his ATR tax pledge which he then violated himself. We are witnessing the self-destruction of a political party that doesn't have a clue as to who voted them into office. Read more
Alternative Minimum Tax - No one is talking on Capitol Hill about the AMT which will increase taxes on the average family by more than $4,000 in 2013. The tax set up in the 19060's to stop the "wealthy" from paying no taxes by using deductions has never been set to adjust for inflation. Because Congress took no action to raise the income trigger in 2012, as it has each year in the past, those earning as little as 33,750 will be forced to pay higher taxes.

The Newtown school massacre - The mainstream media immediately blamed guns and mental illness for the attack that killed so many young children. ABC nightly news asserted that 20% of children in the United States are mentally ill and that huge sums of money must be directed to help them. (ABC News stated that 23% of American women and 17% of American men are mentally ill as well.) It is ridiculous to state that one in five American children is mentally ill, but it would be right to state that more than one out of five children has no exposure to Christian teachings or morals and that is the real problem. I wrote a very lengthy column at WND.COM in which I place a lot of the blame on the churches of America for failing to preach the wrath of God and the existence of Hell. CAIR leader supports destruction of Israel - Cyrus McGoldrick is the Civil Rights Manager and spokesman for the New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR in New York. At his Facebook page he repeated has used the slogan "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," which of course means the destruction of Israel and the death of all the Jews there. During the November missile attacks by HAMAS on Israel he set up a link at a CAIR site to transfer funds to a terrorist organization. Any criticism of his behavior is, of course, Islamophobia. Pakistan: Nine medical workers killed by Taliban - A ninth medical worker was killed during a wave of attacks on polio-vaccination teams. All have died at the hands of the Muslim Taliban since December 17. All have been killed while distributing free polio vaccine drops. Five of the nine health workers killed were women.
France: Victimhood caused Mohammed Merah to kill kids - "Mohammed Merah, you know, he's a hero, he's a martyr of Islam." That is what the cold blooded killing who shot Jewish kids in the face is called in his olde neighborhood. The New York Times investigated the "whys" and discovered it was not Islam but poverty. The liberal mind is just amazing.Read more
Thailand: Muslims hunt down Buddhist to kill - According to the liberal media in the West the only reason Muslims kill Christians and Jews in because of the existence of Israel. Why then are Muslims hunting down and killing Buddhists? Angry they could not find a Buddhist to kill at a government office the Muslims burned it down. Read more

Hood - Obama's Defense Department has refused to award Purple Hearts to the families of the soldiers murdered by Ft. hood terrorist Maj Nidal Hasan, or to those who were wounded in his attack. Obama has refused to compensate the families of those murdered or the survivors who were incapacitated at the level the US military compensates the families of soldiers killed in the line of duty and soldiers wounded by enemy fire. Obama and women - Equal rights for women (not) in Obama's Arab Spring - Article 68 of the new Egyptian constitution states "The state shall take all measures to establish the equality of women and men in the areas of political, cultural, economic and social life, as well as all other areas, insofar as this does not conflict with the rulings of Islamic Shariah." No complaint from Obama.
Obama says Bible publisher not religious enough - The Obama administration is claiming that a dedicated Christian publisher of Bibles and ministry material is insufficiently religious to qualify for an exemption to the contraception mandate in the president's health-care overhaul. Read more

Saudi textbooks full of hate - An appeal to the government of Saudi Arabia to stop publishing hate-filled textbooks was issued today by seven current and former heads of major American publishing houses. Leading it was Robert Bernstein, formerly chairman of Random House and founder of Human Rights Watch, who is now the chairman of Advancing Human Rights. He was joined by the publisher at Amazon, the publisher of Simon and Schuster, a Reuters editor-at-large, the editorial director of Broadside Books (HarperCollins), and other prominent publishers. Anti-Israel Muslim Zealot Represents U.S. - President Obama has just sent Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) Director Salam Al Marayati to represent the United States at a human rights conference in Warsaw, Poland. Shortly after 9/11, Al Marayati claimed that Israel could be responsible for the bloody attack on New York and the Pentagon. Read more
Forced to learn Islam in Virginia school - An elementary school teacher in Chesapeake, Va. has been charged with simple assault after a parent claimed her daughter's hand was cut open as a result of the teacher yanking her arm aggressively while trying to teach students an "Islamic hand sign." OBAMA TARGETS TEA PARTY WITH IRS- Using the IRS to target enemies is not new. In the 1990's Bill Clinton had an enemies. The Clinton administration targeted for IRS audit the National Rifle Association, the Heritage Foundation, the National Review, the American Spectator, Citizens Against Government Waste, Citizens for Honest Government, Concerned Women for America and the San Diego Chapter of Christian Coalition. Today, Obama has an enemies list. The IRS is investigating conservative political groups including the Tea Party who oppose Obama's agenda. Read more

CATHOLIC SENATORS - REALLY? - An amendment to ensure religious freedom against the recent federal contraception mandate was voted down in the Senate with the help of 13 Catholic politicians March 1. Of the 24 Catholic members of the U.S. Senate, 13 Democrats opposed the amendment while 11 Republicans supported it. Senator Roy Blunt (R-MO), expressed his disappointment with the bill's narrow defeat, but said the "fight is not over" and that he would continue to work to protect the First Amendment. Read more
RESPECT FOR RIGHTS OF CONSCIENCE - Senator Roy Blunt, the co-chairman of the Senate Values Action Team (VAT) is not a Catholic, yet he led the way to remove the contraceptive mandate from Obama Care with his Respect for Rights of Conscience Bill. Why? Senator Blunt knows that secularists such as President Obama are using the federally mandated health insurance as the wedge to enter the church door and control the activities of all religious organizations.
RESOLUTION ON IRANIAN DEATH SENTENCE FOR PASTOR - We in America who enjoy the fundamental human right of religious freedom have the opportunity to stand in unity for Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani. On March 1st, the House of Representatives passed H.Res.556, a resolution introduced by Rep. Joseph Pitts (PA-16) condemning the Government of Iran for its continued persecution, imprisonment, and sentencing of Pastor Nadarkhani for refusing to recant his Christian faith. Read more

ARIZONA SENATE AGAINST HEALTH MANDATES - Arizona State Senate passes bill to protect religious freedom in face of HHS mandate. The Arizona State Senate passed a bill on Tuesday that would protect individuals from being discriminated against for refusing to provide or participate in services to which they have religious and moral objections. It now awaits action in the Arizona House.
SCHOOL PRAYER IN FLORIDA - A school prayer bill passed the Florida legislature 88-27 on Thursday. The bill allows state school boards to permit student-initiated prayer and other "inspirational messages" at public school assemblies. "As you know, I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe that individuals should have the right to say a prayer," Gov. Scott said. He is expected to sign the bill next week.

INTERNATIONAL 

PHILIPPINES - The Muslim terror group, Abu Sayyaf planted a bomb that exploded in a commercial district of the southern island of Jolo late Saturday, said provincial police chief Senior Superintendent Antonio Freyra. A street vendor and a schoolteacher were killed and 13 others were wounded when the bomb exploded in Jolo, which has been a stronghold of the Abu Sayyaf for over a decade, police said.

THAILAND - A roadside bomb killed at least one Thai soldier and severely wounded another Friday in an attack by southern Muslim separatists, police said. A unit of eight soldiers was patrolling in Mayo district of Pattani province to protect local teachers when the bomb was detonated with a mobile phone. A Buddhist husband and wife were also murdered in Pattani my Islamic terrorists this week.

IRELAND - More than 2,500 Muslim women and girls living in Ireland are estimated to have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM), according to new research. The number was described as a 'conservative estimate' by Sudha Patel of Duke University, North Carolina, who conducted the research. It is feared that the figure is in fact much higher.

OBAMA'S EGYPTIAN VICTORY - The left leaning media is celebrating President Barack Obama's "stunning" diplomacy in handling the crisis in Egypt and congratulating him for establishing democracy there. Hello! The Egyptian constitution has been suspended, Parliament has been dissolved and a military council is in charge of the country. On top of that, the largest organized group in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, has declared it will accept nothing short of sharia law. As for Obama, one day he called for democracy, the next day said Mubarak was a friend of America, and the day following that said the people should rule. In other words he flipped and flopped for several days until events played out.  
IS OBAMA IGNORING ISLAMIST DANGER? - In as hard hitting article in the Jewish Exponent, Morton A. Klein and Daniel Mandel clearly layout the missteps and ignorance of the Obama Administration. "Could the Egyptian population vote in the Muslim Brotherhood? Polls show it could. A 2007 University of Maryland survey shows that 67 percent of Egyptians favor all Arab countries united as one Islamist state. A 2010 Pew poll indicates that 74 percent of Egyptians favor the imposition of strict Sharia (Islamic) law. Eighty-four percent of Egyptians support the death penalty for those who convert out of Islam. So a Muslim Brotherhood takeover is possible.," they write. Read more of this powerful article.
CREATE DEBT FOR PROSPERITY - President Obama has released his budget for 2012. The budget increases taxes and spending and would result in a tripling of the national debt held by the public between now and 2019. in 2012 the total debt of the government will exceed the entire Gross Domestic Product of the nation, something that has not happened since World War II when 20% of the nation's men were in uniform. PROTECT RELIGIOUS MINORITIES - Congressman Frank Wolf has introduced a bill that would force the State Department to create a special envoy to deal with repressed religious minorities in Islamic nations. Wolf, co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, said threats against religious minorities have been increasing in recent months and that the United States has an obligation to speak out for the voiceless, "If the international community fails to speak out, the prospects for religious pluralism and tolerance in the region are bleak," Wolf said in introducing HR 440. DEFUNDING PLANNED PARENTHOOD - Congressman Mike Pence is on a crusade to stop Planned Parenthood from receiving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars. As the largest abortion provider in the United States the organization is actually profitable and has no need for federal funds other than to bloat its budget. This week Congressman Pence introduced an amendment to the "CR" or Continuing Resolution to cut all funding from Planned Parenthood for the rest of the year. NOTE: The CR is required because the Democrat controlled House failed to pass a spending bills last year to fund government operations for this year.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN HOSTS GAY DRUG CRUISE - A young man died of an overdose of drugs on the first night of the Royal Caribbean's "gay cruise" on the Allure of the Seas. He was one of two young men to die on the seven day cruise which began on February 6th. By the time the drug dealer was caught late in the cruise he had already sold $51,000 in drugs and had little remaining to sell. The dealer, Steven Krumholz, age 51, was taken into custody by ICE agents in St. Thomas, USVI. Royal Caribbean advertises the Allure of the Seas as a family friendly ship which features Dreamworks characters from movies such as Shrek, Madagascar, and Kung Fu Panda. Few media outlets have reported on the drug arrest, and those that have did not report on the drug related deaths. The ship's doctors handled more drug related cases during the week than an emergency room in downtown Detroit. 
ISLAM'S GAY FREE ZONE IN LONDON- Homosexual news outlets in the UK are reporting that Islamists in London have posted stickers calling for a gay-free zone. The stickers were put up around schools and pubs, including a gay bar called George and Dragon. The stickers, which were said to be "professional" said, "Arise and Warn. Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment." The mainstream media in the UK is too cowardly to report the continued problems between Muslims and homosexuals because they support both groups. RAUF WANTS NEW DEVELOPER FOR MOSQUE - Sharif el-Gamal didn't do much for Imam Feisal Rauf other than to give him media scrutiny that exposed him as a slum landlord. Now, apparently, Rauf is looking for a new developer for a different "cultural center." During a puff interview on NPR Rauf said, "If someone were to offer a site that is equal or better," and which could accommodate a multi-faith center ... I'd be very receptive to that."

ISLAM'S WAR ON THAILAND - You will not hear about the Islamic war against Thailand from any American news outlets, but the terror is real. Since the beginning of 2011 there have been 31 terror attacks in Thailand that have been documented, virtually all against innocent civilians who are Buddhists. So far 51 have died and more were injured. Most recently Muslims kidnapped and murdered two young Buddhist children in Yala. MEDIA DISCOVERS SLAUGHTER OF CHRISTIANS - For ten years Christian children where kidnapped and murdered in Iraq. Thousands of Christian women were raped, the men murdered and homes stolen. More than half the Christian population was forced to flee and the media was virtually silent, almost giving permission to Muslims worldwide to murder Christians. Suddenly the media has discovered the murders of Christians in Egypt, Pakistan and Iraq. Just in the last few months the bombings of churches and the murders of Christians have become news worthy. It may be too little to late, but at last Fox News has acknowledged and reported on the previous lack of media reporting on the slaughter.
