Obama created Syrian nightmare - Experts are referring to areas held by Obama's rebels as "the new cauldron for hatching terrorist strikes in the West." A bleak, well researched report in the Washington Times shows a hub of Islamic terror growing stronger every day in areas held by the forces supported by President Obama and Senator John McCain. Obama Army exposed for smearing Christian groups - Last week soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas were warned about giving money to evangelical groups or to Tea Party groups. They were told they could receive military punishment for doing so. This occurred on the same base where Nidal Hasan killed 13 soldiers and an unborn baby and wounded dozens more - and his actions were labeled "workplace violence" - even as he shouted praise to Allah. Pro-gay agenda activist takes over Homeland Security - President Obama has picked Department of Defense lawyer - Jeh Johnson - to run the massive Department of Homeland Security. In case Jeh Johnson's name isn't familiar to you, he's one of the primary architects behind the repeal of the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the U.S. Armed Forces. Read more

Senators demand response to persecution of Christians - In a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Senators Roy Blunt (MO), Bob Corker (TN.) and Lamar Alexander (TN) said recent reports of more frequent, targeted attacks against Coptic churches and individuals in Egypt "warrants a clear U.S. response." Congressman wants abortion coverage disclosed - Congressman Chris Smith (R) has more than 100 co-sponsors for H.R. 3279, the Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act. If passed into law it would force companies to disclose to those buying insurance if they were paying for coverage of abortions. Read more

World Council of Churches ignores persecuted Christians - Would the world, let alone Middle East Christians, be better off without the World Council of Churches (WCC)? Why has the WCC, which claims to represent and serve 345 denominations worldwide, done nothing to help the persecuted churches in Iraq, Syria and Egypt? Read more
International Religious Freedom Day ignored? - The issue of religious persecution around the world should be front and center for our government, but clearly it's not, under Obama. In fact, it has been Obama who has been one of the key political forces in creating more religious persecution around the world and in the United States since he took office. Read more

Yemen: Muslim father burns teen daughter to death - Only a month after an eight-year old girl from Yemen died on her wedding night after suffering massive internal injuries from her 40-year-old groom, a Yemini father has been arrested for burning his 15-year-old daughter to death because she committed the "crime" of talking to her fiance before their wedding. Kenya: Muslims murder pastors - Evangelical Christians are mourning the death of two pastors who were killed on Kenya's coast over the weekend amid concerns about growing pressure on devoted believers in the African nation. Read more
Nigeria: Police in northern states enforcing Sharia on Christians - As Christians in Nigeria continue to suffer violent attacks at the hands of Islamic extremists, they are also facing official opposition as the authorities enforce an Islamist agenda in a number of states. Read more
Syria: Disgusted by the West, Christians turning to Russia for help - It is very ironic that Russia, known for its history of atheism and persecution of Christians around the world, should now be looked to as the protector of Syrian Christians. This, while the Obama Administration and other western nations are openly supporting Islamic terrorists who are seeking to kill Christians in Syria and oust President Assad. Read more

Disgraced former governor wins seat in Congress - In a stunning special election, the former governor of South Carolina, who secretly left his state without a commander-in-chief for several days while he jetted away in a state owned plane for a hook-up with an Argentinian woman he had met online, has won a special election for a vacant House seat. Congressman was almost victim of abortion - Representative Marlin Stutzman (R-IN) recently learned that his then 17-year-old mother nearly aborted him in 1975, when after her house burned she was homeless and alone. A stunning story. Read more Majority Leader Cantor has commended those who have worked in Congress to expose the House of Horrors abortion clinic run by Kermit Gosnell in Philadelphia. Read more
Republican Hispanics are not really Hispanic? - Former Democrat Governor Bill Richardson (an Hispanic despite his name), suggested that because Texas Senator Ted Cruz doesn't support blanket amnesty for illegal aliens, that he's not truly Hispanic. Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing help from the CIA, as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid, to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Retired General fights for religious freedom in military - Retired Lt. General William Boykin is calling upon citizens to rally in defense of religious liberty within the U.S. Armed Forces. Boykin warns that there is a concerted effort to silence Christians and prevent them from sharing or openly practicing their faith in the military. Read more
Domestic Servitude by Saudi diplomats - Since the initial reports of two domestic slaves being rescued from a home owned by the Saudi government and located in McLean, Virginia, the State Department and the Saudis have been silent. Neither the Saudi Ambassador nor the State Department would reveal the names of the Saudi officials living in the home; however, local records indicate that the most probable resident may be the Saudi Embassy defense attaché, Brig. Gen. Amin Muhammad Shaker. Read more

Morocco: Death for converts could become law - Converts from Islam are unsettled by calls for execution of those who leave Islam. A Moroccan fatwa calling for the execution of those who leave Islam has left many Christian converts in turmoil, as the formally "moderate" nation slips into being another Islamist state. Read more
Israel: Are Saudis helping -- or fighting -- Israel? - The Saudi government condemned airstrikes by Israel in Syria, but then it was announced that the Saudi and Israeli governments plan to work together, sharing secret anti-ballistic missile technology. Read more
Germany: Paying for Muslim polygamy - In an amazing expose on German television (English subtitles) the explosion of polygamy in Germany is exposed. Because of the generous German welfare system, even an unemployed Muslim man can afford more than one wife. Read more
Thailand: Killing kids for Islam - Killing a Buddhist three-year-old is just as much fun for Islamists as killing Christians and Jews. Some brave Muslims attacked unarmed people in a grocery store in Thailand, killing six including a toddler just starting out his life. Read more
Saudi anti-terror school grad kills Christians - In this bizarre story a "former" jihadist who graduated from a Saudi school designed to "cleanse" radicals of terrorist thought, was "martyred" in Syria after killing "a large number of Christians" Read more

Hillary: What difference does it make why they died? - In one of the most bizarre testimonies before Congress that I have ever seen, the U.S. Secretary of State said about the murder of one of her Ambassadors, "What difference at this point does it make?" It might make a difference to a Coptic Christian whose trailer for a bad movie was blamed by the leader of the free world for a series of Al Qaeda attacks against American diplomatic facilities and who was sent to prison on the orders of members of the administration. Obama: "Peace in our time" - Apparently no one in the entire White House has ever studied any 20th century history at all. (If they had, there would be some realization that Communism failed). Beyond that, Obama used the term "Peace in our time" in his Inaugural Address. This phrase was first used by Prime Minister Neville Chamberland upon signing an agreement with Hitler in 1938, giving part of another nation to the Nazi's in return for "peace." What a gaff - or was it? Read more
Obama supports death on Roe anniversary - President Obama's statement on the 40th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade speaks for itself. He talks of a woman's right to make "decisions" about her own body ... but it is not the woman's body that is destroyed by an abortion; it is her baby's body.
Congress
Senators support Right to Life March - Pro-life Senators sent out tweets to mark the 40th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision. This Supreme Court ruling legalized abortion on demand as a "privacy" issue. The decision has resulted in the killing of an estimated 50 million unborn babies since then. Only Mao Tse Tung has killed more human beings - an estimated 60 million. Read more
Republican Leader supports Right to Life March - Majority Leader Eric Cantor honored pro-lifers for their commitment to the right to life of every unborn child during a floor speech this week. In contrast, President Barack Hussein Obama, who is the best friend Planned Parenthood can buy, issued a proclamation celebrating the Roe v. Wade ruling as a victory for women, the "freedom to choose" and the right to privacy. Read more

Right to Life March - Hundreds of thousands of people descended on Washington, DC today to morn the loss of 55 million American babies who have been murdered since the Roe v. Wade decision which allows the termination of a pregnancy up to the moment a woman goes into labor. Most of the establishment news services will not report, or will under report, the significance of the size of the demonstration.

EGYPT: More Arab Spring attacks - A thousand Muslims attacked the predominantly Christian village of el-Marashda (province of Quena, Upper Egypt). Incited by outside religious authorities, extremists burned down homes and shops and tried to demolish the local church. Read more
JORDAN: Syrian refugee girls taken for Islamic "pleasure marriages" - Syrian female refugees aged 14 and 15 who fled their country to Jordan and Iraq are being forced into "pleasure marriages. "Apart from being a cover for legalized prostitution (the marriage can last for as little as 30 minutes), Nikah al-Mut'ah (temporary marriage) deprives the "wife" of many rights. Read more
Arming the enemies of freedom - French cannon makers sold the Ottoman Empire the weapons which were used to conquer Constantinople in 1453. This week the United States began shipments of 20 new advanced F-16s and 100 modern Abrams tanks to Egypt. Soon Turkey will receive the newest American fighter, the F-35. The Jewish Terrorist - In March, 2008 during the Jewish holiday of Purim a bomb exploded in the home of the Ortiz family in Ariel, Samara. The Ortiz family are dear friends of mine and I have stayed at their apartment numerous times. Only their youngest teenage son was home home at the time the bomb exploded, and he was just one foot from the bomb. He was severely injured and spent over a year in hospitals and had dozens of operations. Because his father David Ortiz took the Gospel to Arabs in the area, it was assumed that the attack came from them, but it did not. An American-born Jew who had become an extremist set off the bomb. He had also killed Palestinians and bombed a church. The strange case ended this week with his conviction for murder and attempted murder. The Israeli media coined the phrase "the Jewish terrorist" to describe him. Read more Note: The Religious Freedom Coalition raised funds for the Ortiz family to rebuild their lives.

THE PRESIDENCY
WHITE HOUSE APPLAUDS ISLAMIST TAKEOVER - Since the "Arab Spring" revolts against secular governments in the Middle East supported by President Barack Obama there have been two elections. The first one in Tunisia brought a previously outlawed Islamist party to power. Now Islamists have won 60% of the vote in Egypt's first ballot round and the Obama Administration has this to say: "I congratulate the Egyptian people for a peaceful, successful start to their election process." A White House spokesman was equally upbeat on the control of the Egyptian government going to Islamic religious parties. The lessons of the Taliban government in Afghanistan and the Islamist control in Iran have been forgotten.
MORE LIKE UK WITH 3,000 HONOR KILLINGS - The Obama Administration loves multiculturalism and this is why Nashville and Atlanta have been set up as hubs for the mass immigration of Muslim "refugees." Obama sees a need to bust the Bible Belt. Obama sees the multicultural nature of Europe as an example for America. Here is an "example" of multiculturalism at work: There were nearly 3,000 honor killings by Muslims in the U.K. in 2010 and the killers are treated as heroes in their communities. Read more

CONGRESS 

ARMY HOSPITAL RESCINDS NO BIBLE POLICY -Walter Reed National Military Medical Center rescinded a policy that prohibited family members of the wounded from bringing Bibles or any religious reading materials to their loved ones. The decision was made one day after Congressman Steve King (R-IA) denounced the policy on the House floor and demanded President Obama change it at once. Read more

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

NURSES FORCED TO ASSIST ABORTIONS - Twelve nurses at a New Jersey hospital have sued in Federal Court because they were forced to violate their religious convictions and assist in abortions. After a court order was issued to stop the practice the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey said it would hire additional staff to help perform abortions. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of the nurses by the Alliance Defense Fund.

MUSLIMS IN, CHRISTIANS OUT IN UK - A Christian worker in Britain has filed a lawsuit after losing her job when she exposed a campaign of systematic harassment by fundamentalist Muslims. Nohad Halawi, a former employee at London's Heathrow Airport, is suing for unfair dismissal, claiming that Christian staff members, including her, were discriminated against because of their religious beliefs. MUSLIM CRIME IN NETHERLANDS - When an individual is not a part of the culture he has no problem committing crimes against that culture. Forty percent of Moroccan immigrants in the Netherlands between the ages of 12 and 24 have been arrested, fined, charged or otherwise accused of committing a crime during the past five years, according to a new report commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Interior. MORE NUTTY SHARIA IN PAKISTAN - Pakistan's Catholic Bishops and evangelicals are protesting a decision by the nation's telecommunications authority to include "Jesus Christ" in a list of 160 words banned in text messages. This is the same nation in which numerous Christians rot in jail without trial accused of "blasphemy." The United States gives Pakistan more than a billion dollars a year in aid.
