The Presidency 
The one-eyed dog lost again- Over the past three years I have heard the establishment GOP types on Capitol Hill say over and over again that a "one-eyed dog" could beat Obama. I heard this same thing back in 1995 and 1996 about getting rid of Bill Clinton. So confident was the establishment both times that they put up the proverbial establishment one-note candidate. Same song, same ending. For a challenger to overcome an incumbent, there must be real contrast. What was the contrast between Romney Care and Obama Care? Romney would not talk about social issues where the real contrast between parties is. The GOP establishment and Mitt Romney failed to understand that the nation is past the tipping point, that the majority of voters want the government to hand out money. Standing firm on social issues would have made the difference!
What next for America? - In 1797 a Scottish history professor, Dr. Alexander Tyler said: "A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the people discover they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy--to be followed by a dictatorship."
Congress
The elections: So far the Republicans have lost seven House seats and three Senate seats in an election the establishment said it could not lose. More seats may be lost to recounts. Pro-life Senate candidates Todd Akin in Missouri and Richard Mourdock in Indiana were defeated by critical comments from "friends" such as George W. Bush confidante Karl Rove. Government Is Not God- PAC, of which I am also chairman, backed numerous candidates and won several races. See how my PAC did here.
Nancy Pelosi and the Islamists - During the election process, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi turned to radical Islamists to raise funds. She actually attended and spoke at a fund raiser attended by about 20 members of a Syrian dissident group and by 10 officials representing the Muslim Brotherhood as well as Hamas front groups. Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad was of course present. Read more
Congress is still adjourned  - Congress is adjourned and will return on November 13 - Note: Committee chairmen can and do hold hearings during recess periods.
Religion and Culture
Gay foreplay for middle School - A school district in Maine is apologizing after middle school students learned about homosexual foreplay during what was supposed to be a "Diversity Day" presentation. "I don't want my child taught heterosexual foreplay, let alone homosexual foreplay," outraged parent Kristy Howard told Fox News. Read more

Middle East: Lawyers honor murderer - The Arab Lawyers Union has awarded its highest decoration to the Palestinian woman who carried out the 2003 suicide bombing at Maxim's Restaurant in Haifa, which killed 21 and wounded 51. Read more
Tunisia: Moderate Muslims and the burning embassy - A September attack on the U.S. Embassy in Tunis left four dead, 49 injured, several buildings looted and burned out, and the black Salafi flag flying above the embassy grounds. This is the nation controlled by "moderate Muslims." Daniel Pipes exposes the myth of the "moderate Muslims." Read more
France: More Muslims than Catholics? - A survey states that 4.5% (or 1.9 million) of the French population consists of practicing Catholics. By way of comparison, 75% (or 4.5 million), of the estimated six million mostly ethnic North African and sub-Saharan Muslims in France, identify themselves as "believers," and 41% (or 2.5 million) say they are "practicing" Muslims. Simply stated there are more practicing Muslims in France than practicing Catholics. Read more
Saudi Arabia: More child brides sold into virtual slavery - An alarming rise in the number of child brides in Saudi Arabia has been reported. According to Al Roumi, a social services academic at Imam Mohammad Bin Saudi Islamic University, there have been 5,622 marriages in which the bride is under the age of 14 in the country. The report did not state if this was the number among all current marriages or if it was just the number sold into virtual slavery by their parents in 2011.
Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, etc. - Normally in this section I report on a few of the gruesome murders of Christians each week by Muslims. There were so many this week and they are so horrifying I just could not bring myself to write about them.

The Presidency
Both Romney and Obama wrong on Islam - During their last debate both Romney and Obama said that the solution to fighting radical Islam is economic development. Both believe that making Muslims richer will make them moderate and pro-Western. HELLO! The 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, one of the wealthiest nations in the world. Most of them had college educations. Well-educated and wealthy Muslims are the leaders of every terrorist group. Osama bin Laden had enormous wealth, and his family still does. The current leader of al-Qaeda is a medical doctor. Read more
The truth about Libya - Why did Barack Obama blame a short video clip on Youtube for the attack on American assets in Libya? Why did he run paid ads in Pakistan apologizing for the video, and thus apologizing for free speech in America? Perhaps Obama does not want to explain that ambassador Stevens was in Benghazi to recruit jihadists to fight the secular government in Syria and to arrange for the shipment of anti-aircraft and other heavy weapons to Lebanon for transfer to the Islamists in Syria. Mr. Obama: Marines do use bayonets - During his last debate with Mitt Romney, our esteemed president ridiculed bayonets as obsolete and no longer used in warfare. However, this is flat out wrong. The Marine Corps in particular still trains with and uses bayonets in close combat. Obama also apparently does not understand that an aircraft carrier needs numerous support ships.
PAC ads say Obama favors Islam - Government Is Not God-PAC is now running ads exposing the various ways Barack Obama has displayed either weakness or favoritism toward the Islamic agenda. The PAC ads refer to Obama as Apologizer-in-Chief. See ads here

Congress adjourned for election - The Congress will hold no votes until after the November 6th election. Note: Committee chairmen can and have held hearings during recess periods.
Religion and Culture
Film maker hearing set for November 9th - How convenient for Barack Obama. The hearing of Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, responsible for the anti-Muslim video that President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton, and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice wrongly blamed for the terrorist attack that killed Ambassador Stevens, is still being held at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) without bond. He is being held by federal, not state, authorities and is allowed to speak to no one. Why?
Another university bans Christian groups - Over the past couple of years higher education institutions across the nation have been targeting student Christian groups that require their leaders to embrace the tenets of biblical Christianity. In mid-October Tufts University in Massachusetts became the latest example of that secular intolerance when the school's student government banned Tufts Christian Fellowship (TCF), the school's chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, because of the group's requirement that its leaders embrace the "basic biblical truths of Christianity." Muslim doctors of death - The jihad terror attack on Ft. Hood in 2009 was the work of a Muslim doctor. Surprisingly, this is not unusual. In a study of 75 jihadists responsible for the four most serious terrorist incidents across the world between 1993 and 2005, experts Peter Bergen and Swati Pandey found the most popular subjects studied among those who had attended university were engineering and medicine. Two-thirds of the 25 terrorists involved in the 9/11 attacks had attended university. Five years ago in 2007 Debbie Schlussel prepared an extensive list of Muslim doctors involved in terror. Yet another medical doctor who conducted acts of terror was arrested in the UK in October.
Pro-Muslim repression in the UK - Tommy Robinson, the UK Freedom Party leader who delivered this speech on Islam, has been arrested and jailed in the UK with no charges filed against him. He may or may not be charged and may or may not be released sometime after Christmas according to authorities. Is America next? Listen and be very afraid ... Obama has jailed a man in the US for simply making a Youtube clip. Who is next?

Move U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem? - Palestinian officials are fuming after Mitt Romney stated that Jerusalem is Israel's capital. Romney implied, but did not state, that he would follow the law and move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem if elected. Barack Obama has not only refused to honor the law passed by Congress to move the Embassy, but the U.S Consulate now in Jerusalem conducts business in Arabic, not Hebrew.
Same-sex marriage and conservatives - What happens if the Republican Party moves away from endorsing "traditional marriage" in favor of an "its all about the economy approach?" In the U.K. the conservative party went that route, and has lost 60% of its paid membership since Prime Minister David Cameron announced he would forge ahead and endorse "same-sex marriage." Even Barack Obama is facing a backlash from Black ministers because of his endorsement of sodomy -- and he is a left-winger.

Obama executive order to help blacks only - This week Obama signed an executive order, an excerpt of which states the goal of "increasing college access and success for African American students and providing support to help ensure that a greater percentage of African Americans complete college and contribute to the goal of having America again lead the world in the proportion of adults who are college graduates by 2020." But the goal is not "every American". The goal is to force whites, Hispanics and Asians out of entrance slots into colleges. This same executive order would bar public schools from expelling more blacks from school than the percentage of their population in the school, regardless of the offense. is this racist? of course. Resolution on Syrian Christians - Congressman Bilirakas (R-FL) who is the co-chair of the International Religious Freedom Caucus has entered a resolution calling for the protection of the "religious minorities" in Syria in light of the continued growing presence of Al-Qaeda growth in that nation. His resolution (H.Res. 763) comes at a time when more and more congressmen and Senators are being alerted to the truth about the nature of the Islamist uprising in Syria. Chick-fil-A Day - Congratulations go to Gov. Mike Huckabee for his efforts in organizing a Chick-fil-A appreciation day on Wednesday. Gov. Huckabee had over 25 million visits to his Internet site to get details. At many Chick-fil-A stores, people had to wait more than an hour to get a sandwich. To show their "tolerance" , McDonald's is handing out free chicken sandwich vouchers to homosexuals who plan to demonstrate against Chick-fil-A's pro traditional stance today.
Chick-fil-A protest backfires - Adam Smith, who posted an online video of himself going through a Chick-fil-A drive-thru and ordering only the free water, was canned from his gig as chief financial officer of Vante, a Tucson medical manufacturing company, after the video made the rounds. Read more

Christians arming themselves in Syria - As evidence mounts that foreign Islamists are fighting alongside Syria's increasingly radicalized rebels, Christians in Aleppo and elsewhere are taking up arms, often supplied by the regime. "We saw what happened to the Christians in Iraq," Abu George, a Christian resident of Aleppo's Aziza district told GlobalPost. "What is going on in Aleppo is not a popular revolution for democracy and freedom. The fighters of the so-called Free Syrian Army are radical Sunnis who want to establish an Islamic state. Read more
More attacks in Nigeria - Over 1, 000 worshipers fled from what could have been a massive bomb attack at a Nigerian church on Wednesday. The bomb was set in the church during the evening service but failed to detonate. The police bomb squad defused the bomb, describing it as "foreign-made and capable of bringing down not only the church but surrounding buildings as well." Read more The first week of August, more than 100 Christians were killed in attacks including a Nigerian senator.

Obama's newest Middle East Lie - (Note, the author is currently in the Middle East) President Barack Obama promised Jewish leaders in the United States that he would not invite the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt to the White House unless he publicly stated there would be no change in the relationship with Israel. President Obama lied. Mohammed Morsi had been invited to the White House after direct threats to Israel. Meanwhile Hillary Clinton is on her way to Cairo to press Morsi (don't laugh too hard) to back American interests in the region. Read more

Romney may throw election - It appears that Gov. Mitt Romney is considering throwing the election to Barack Obama by adding someone disliked by social conservatives and detested by those against "nation building." Condi Rice, the "pro-choice" Secretary of State who destroyed the US relationship with Russia and called for even more dead American servicemen to bring "democracy" to Muslim nations is now one of the top three on the moron's VP list. (Did I misspell Mormon.) Read more

Exposing Barack Obama's attacks on religious freedom - The Religious Freedom Coalition's advertising campaign to expose President Barack Obama's attacks on religious freedom enters its third month. Newspaper ads have already run the length of Florida and will soon run in North Carolina.

CONGRESS 

Congress and ObamaCare - The Republican House held a meaningless repeal vote on ObamaCare this week. The majority passed the repeal knowing full well it was only symbolic and that there would be no vote on the repeal in the Senate.

Jordan - First had report one - There was an armed clash between tribes in southern Jordan in which machine guns were used. The information was totally suppressed by the media worldwide in keep the rouse alive that Jordan is a moderate and stable state.
Jordan - First hand report two - Every Friday after "prayers" Muslim Brotherhood activists demonstrate in downtown Amman, Jordan demanding more control be transferred from the King to "the people" Read "the people" as "the Muslim Brotherhood." Again the worldwide media is suppressing this news to made Jordan look stable and the Muslim Brotherhood "moderate."

Jordan - First hand report three - Saudi Arabia has moved a significant military force to its border with Jordan. Troops that protected the boarder with Iraq to stop Shiites from entering have been moved to the Jordan border as well. The Saudis are "encouraging" King Abdullah of Jordan to allow their armies to cross over Jordan and invade Syria if required to assist the "rebels." (Note: The absolute monarch of Saudi Arabia who runs the most repressive government in the world says he wants to bring true democracy to Syria and protect human rights there. Hillary Clinton actually believes this insane statement.) Currently the salaries of the "Free Syrian Army" are being paid by the Saudi government. The weapons transferred to Al-Qaeda rebels in Syria by the Turkish government are paid for by Saudi Arabia. Why? Syria is an ally of Iran. The Saudi's want to cut off Iranian influence to the Mediterranean. If Syria is cut out of the "Shiite crescent" from Iran though Lebanon then the power crescent is destroyed. See my video

Syrian refugees - I am in the process of visiting Syrian Christians effected by the rebel advances. I have been interviewing refugees and talking with officials. The situation is so bad that I have developed writer's block. I'll try to report on the subject next week.  

 

Chairman’s Report for October 14, 2011

THE PRESIDENT AND THE ARAB SPRING

NO SUPPORT FOR EGYPTIAN CHRISTIANS – President Barack Obama organized NATO airstrikes to assist Islamic rebels in overthrowing the government of Libyan strongman Moammar Gaddafi. The President was also instrumental in unseating the secular president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak. The President used very strong rhetoric when calling for an “Arab Spring” and the removal of secular leaders in several Middle Eastern nations including Yemen. Now, as one Christian church after the other is burned and as Christians lie dead in the street, murdered by police, little is heard from the White House.

Under the secular leadership of President Hosni Mubarak, Christians and their property were somewhat protected from radical jihadists. When local police allowed or participated in violence against Christians, former President Mubarak sent army troops. In some cases the government built protective walls around churches. Under the new military regime which President Obama ushered into power, many of those protective walls have been removed.

On October 8^th Coptic Christians took to the streets in Cairo to protest the burning of the Mar Gerges Church in the Elmarenab village of Aswan. They were immediately attacked by the police and several Christians were killed. Outraged thousands of Coptic Christians took to the streets to demonstrate. The outnumbered police called in the army to kill even more Christians. At last count there were 36 Christians dead and hundreds more injured. This is Barack Obama’s “Arab Spring,” a so-called peaceful revolution that has empowered in Egypt the radical Muslim Brotherhood, a group Obama’s Administration calls “secular in nature.”

OBAMA SUPPORTS THOSE TRASHING WALL STREET - “I think it expresses the frustrations that the American people feel,” the President told NBC News. “People are frustrated and the protesters are giving voice to a more broad-based frustration about how our financial system works.” The demonstrators, many whom have been arrested for trespassing and destruction of property, have trashed the small park once enjoyed by children near the financial center. Vice President Biden called those destroying property and blocking traffic an “answer to the Tea Party”. Big union bosses have now stepped forward as well, in support of a class war. What do the demonstrators “occupying” Wall Street believe? Signs at their make shift camp where they urinate on the trees they claim to love, read: “Eat the Rich” “Kill Corporations” and “Redistribute the Wealth.” Others flat out say “Down with Capitalism.” Many of the signs are so vulgar and violent that they are nor shown in TV reports or seen in newspapers.

These radicals, mostly anarchists with violent tendencies, are called allies by the Obama-Biden Administration and the big union bosses. Welcome to a state of class warfare.

WHAT THE PRESIDENTIAL CHALLENGERS BELIEVE – Over the years I have had the privilege to work on various projects with some of the current Republican candidates for President and I have met and talked to most of them more than once. Just before she announced her run for the presidency I was one of just eight conservative leaders who had lunch with Michele Bachmann at the Capitol Hill club in Washington, DC.

Santorum and Murray

What kind of people are the Republican candidates and how do they differ from Obama? Back in the late 1990’s, then Speaker Newt Gingrich appeared at several press conferences held by the Religious Freedom Coalition in support of a Religious Freedom Amendment to the Constitution that would allow kids and teachers to pray in school. One rather famous photo shows me speaking at a podium with the entire House leadership of Newt Gingrich, Dick Armey and Tom DeLay standing behind me. Although he never commented on Islam during the George W. Bush presidency, once Obama was sworn in Gingrich made numerous statements and produced documentaries on Islamic oppression.

Over a period of many years Senator Rick Santorum ran a separate International Religious Freedom Caucus in the Senate. He held monthly meetings with organizations such as the Religious Freedom Coalition not only to discuss, but to take action against the persecution of religious minorities, not just in the Middle East, but in China and Vietnam as well. In July of 2006 I was with Senator Santorum at a press conference at the Press Club in Washington, DC when he was the first seated politician to use the phrase “Islamic fascism,” much to the disdain of the White House. Far from backing down, at a later meeting at the White House with Senators  he held a copy of the speech up in the air and asked President George W. Bush to read it.

Rick Santorum is a conservative, believing Catholic. He and his wife Karen, who is a nurse, have seven living children.  On November 12, 2004, Rick and Karen were invested as Knight and Dame of Magistral Grace of the Knights of Malta in a ceremony at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York City. Only the most conservative of Catholics would receive such an honor. During conversations with the couple at a meeting here in Washington, DC, Karen told me that her only disagreement ever with her husband was when he backed liberal Republican Senator Arlen Specter for reelection. She is definitely no Laura Bush.

I have known Herman Cain for many years and back in 2004 my political action committee, Government Is Not God, supported his Senate campaign because of his outspoken support of social conservative causes. Recently he told the Values Voter Summit, “I am 100 % pro-life from the hour of conception.” Herman Cain is not just a businessman. He worked for six years in the Department of the Navy and has made it clear he is opposed to homosexuals serving openly in the military. Cain stands with social conservatives on virtually every issue. In my presence, in meetings he has called Islamists an existential threat to America.

The views of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann were well known before she declared for the presidency. During a recent conversation, Michele Bachman told me, “I thought I was a Christian because I was born into a Lutheran family. As a teenager I heard the Gospel with two girlfriends at an evangelical church and I made the decision to abandon myself for Jesus.” Several times during the conversation Michele used the term “abandoned myself” to describe her conversion experience.
In small group discussions I have been in with Michele Bachmann, she has convinced me that she understands the threat of Islamic domination of the world. This month I met her husband Marcus for the first time. He is a Christian psychologist whose office is surrounded by homosexual demonstrators virtually every week because he accepts patients who don’t want to be “gay” any more.

I have met Congressman Ron Paul numerous times and he is a true libertarian. Unfortunately libertarians like Ron Paul agree more often with Barack Obama on social issues than with me. He sees absolutely no need for the United States to assist persecuted Christians. He believes that sales of drugs, including heroin, and the sale of one’s body for use in prostitution should be up to each state. Because of his position on same-sex marriage he has been endorsed by the “conservative” gay political action committee Log Cabin Republicans.
While I met briefly with Rick Perry when he was Lieutenant Governor of Texas, I have never had an in depth conversation with him to try to discern his sincerity. I have never met with Governor Romney as we do not travel, shall we say, in the same circles. My purpose here is to talk about those I know personally and to try to convey the difference between them and President Barack Obama.

The four Republicans I have met and interacted the most with — Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum — have profound differences with President Barack Obama. In conclusion, none of these four support the radical class war demonstrations across the nation that are supported by Barack Obama, the Democratic Party and the major labor unions. In fact, none of the Republican candidates support the anarchist demonstrators.

THE CONGRESS ON RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND TERROR

CONGRESSMAN EXPOSES GROVER NORQUIST - In a speech on October 4th, Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA) expressed concern about celebrated economic conservative figure Grover Norquist and his influence on the political process in Washington. Wolf questioned his association with several individuals, groups and causes many would consider unsavory. Wolf pointed to Norquist’s relationship with convicted felon Jack Abramoff and terrorist financiers Abdurahman Alamoudi and Sami Al-Arian. He also raised the issue of Norquist’s advocacy of moving Guantanamo Bay detainees to the United States, including 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed. Norquist’s representation of the Internet gambling industry and Fannie Mae as a consultant was also questioned by Wolf. Although Grover Norquist’s association with radical Muslims and other questionable characters has been discussed online, this is the first time the evidence has been detailed by a congressman.

Just one week prior to Wolf’s statement, investigative journalist Ken Timmerman wrote a scathing article for Front Page Magazine that discussed Norquist’s support of “open borders,” and also his support for letting the gay group “Log Cabin Republicans” join the Conservative Political Action Conference, which drove away many social conservatives. Besides championing the Ground Zero mosque, Timmerman wrote that Norquist supports a Muslim candidate for public office in Virginia who has changed his first name from Imad Afif to David.  Timmerman detailed Grover Norquist’s influence on behalf of Muslim causes in the George W. Bush White House and throughout the conservative movement in Washington, DC. Reports indicate that the phrases “religion of peace” and “hijacked religion” were coined in Norquist’s office shortly after the 9-11 jihad attack.

JOURNALISM SCHOOL: 9-11 JIHAD NOT A BIG DEAL – Why is it that I am not surprised by this story at all? Professors Lawrence Pintak and Stephen Franklin, in a journalism course at Poynter Institute, said that the almost 3,000 victims who died in the 9-11 Jihad attack represented a small percentage of the 15,000 people murdered in America that year, and that worldwide jihad accounts for “only” one percent of murders each year, and thus jihad should be downplayed in any news story. Wow, and I thought that mass murder was always big news. The problem is that these are not just two nutty professors. The Poynter Institute is a leading school of journalism that trains many members of the media.

PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS – In the Presidency section of the Chairman’s Report I covered the events in Egypt. Since the fall of the secular government of Hosni Mubarak the situation for Christians in Egypt has continued to decline. Churches that have been repaired have been burned to the ground because of Sharia law. Under Sharia, Christians and Jews are Dhimmi. They are allowed to keep existing houses of worship, but may not repair them or build new ones. That is Sharia and you can expect it to be practiced soon in Dearborn, Michigan, where Muslims have apparently now reached a majority.

SHARIA FOR FRANCE - France’s decrepit city suburbs are becoming ‘separate Islamic societies’ cut off from the state, according to a major new study that examines the spread of Islam in France. Muslim immigrants are increasingly rejecting French values and identity and instead are immersing themselves in Islam, according to the report, which also warns that Islamic Sharia law is rapidly displacing French civil law in many parts of suburban Paris. The 2,200-page report, “Banlieue de la République” (Suburbs of the Republic), is the result of a one-year research effort into the four “i’s” that comprise the heart of the debate over French national identity: Islam, immigration, identity and insecurity.
