Obama's rebels not "palatable" - Less than one-third of Syrian rebels "palatable" to Europe and USA, reports IHS Janes, the leading military think tank in the world, The stark assessment accords with the view of Western diplomats that less than one third of the opposition forces are "palatable" to Britain, while American envoys put the figure even lower. Bottom line: Most of those Obama supports in Syria are Islamic terrorists. Read more
Obama FBI continues to work with CAIR - The Federal Bureau of Investigation has recently been exposed for violating its own policies about collaborating with the Muslim Brotherhood front group known as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Read more

Finally! An investigation of Planned Parenthood - In February, dozens of U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to the Government Accounting Office (GAO) asking for it to conduct a thorough investigation of the possible misuse of federal tax dollars by the abortion industry - including Planned Parenthood. The GAO finally responded to that letter and has agreed to begin an investigation. Read more

Court rules in favor of National Motto - A New York federal district court has dismissed a challenge to the inclusion of our national motto, "In God We Trust," on United States currency. Forty-one Members of the House of Representatives signed an amicus curiae brief in May, filed by the American Center for Law and Justice and the American Catholic Lawyers Association supporting the motto. School trips to mosques but not churches - High school students in Tennessee were recently taken on a field trip to the Islamic Center of Nashville and were given Korans after the tour. They were also given a worksheet on Islam that described Islam as more tolerant of its conquered peoples than was the United States in its treatment of minorities. (Note: We have a black president.) Turkey: Renowned pianist jailed for blasphemy - An Istanbul court on Friday sentenced Turkish pianist Fazil Say to 10 months in prison on charges of insulting Islamic religious values in comments he made on Twitter. Tanzania: Muslims throw acid on priest - Rev. Joseph Anselmo Mwangamba stepped outside an Internet café on the outskirts of Zanzibar City, capital of the semi-autonomous island in the Indian Ocean about 25 kilometers (16 miles) off the coast of Tanzania, when the assailants threw acid on his face and chest. Pakistan: Christians flee Islamic terror - There was uncertainty Monday, September 16, about the whereabouts of dozens of Christian families who fled their homes in a village near the Pakistani city of Lahore after a local pastor was accused of blasphemy against Muhammad. Read more

Obama's gay inauguration - The only religious leader scheduled for Obama's second inauguration, a pastor from Georgia, has now been forced to withdraw. What was the crime of Pastor Louis Giglio? It seems that back in the 1990's, he once delivered a sermon against homosexually. Obama picked a Cuban-American "gay poet" named Richard Blanco to serve as "Inaugural Poet." Meanwhile Newsweek magazine pictured Obama on the cover as "the first gay president." Read more
The new Cabinet members - Obama has appointed several controversial men to his cabinet. The main lightning rod so far is his pick for Secretary of Defense, former two term GOP Senator Chuck Hagel, who is a decorated Vietnam veteran. Critics point to his many anti-Israel and pro-Iranian statements, but miss the point. The White House makes the policy and the Cabinet members just follow that policy. Hagel was picked because of his positions, not in spite of them, and critics should be more vocal in pointing out that fact.
Obama's Syria problem - The jihadists President Obama supports in Syria appear to be losing ground to the Syrian army on all fronts and this is a serious problem for Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, who are attempting to cleanse the Middle East of secular governments. News agencies are reporting that jihadists have withdrawn from many of the suburban areas of Damascus they once controlled and have moved north to areas where they can receive NATO supplies from Turkey.

Congressman against Obama's tanks and jets for Egypt - President Barack Obama knows full well that the tanks and jets he is sending to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt will eventually be used against Israel but has cleared the sale anyway. Congressman Vern Buchanan (R-FL) has joined the chorus of critics asking Obama to stop the shipments of 20 American F-16 fighter jets and 200 Abrams tanks to Egypt. "Simply put, the U.S. should not be providing military assistance to a regime that supports Hamas and is looking more and more like a dictatorship than a trustworthy democracy," Buchanan wrote.

More taxpayer money, more abortions - Planned Parenthood reported receiving record taxpayer funding in the last reporting year, while also performing a record number of abortions, according to its new annual report released this week. The nation's largest abortion provider maintained its infamous title, performing 333,964 abortions-a record for the organization that received 45 percent of its revenues from taxpayer-funded government sources. International Slavery alive and well under Islam - Slavery and human trafficking affect millions of people in the world today. Most slavery is centered in Islamic nations ... and indeed virtually every black slave brought to America in the 18th ant 19th centuries came from Islamic slave markets in Africa. Egypt: Christian women must wear veils or get raped - Egyptian imam Hisham el-Ashry popped up on prime-time television to tell women they must cover up for their own protection. "I was once asked: If I came to power, would I let Christian women remain unveiled? And I said: If they want to get raped on the streets, then they can," Ashry told Nahar TV last week. Read more
Syria: Car bombs in Christian neighborhoods - More car bombs have been detonated by Obama's rebels in Christian areas of Damascus. Last week one car bomb at a gas station killed dozens of people. Most Republicans in the Senate support Obama's war on the last secular government in the Middle East.
UK: Muslim preacher orders hit on 15-year-old girl - A Pakistani girl who was shot by the Taliban for advocating education for girls, and who is being treated in the UK, has had a fatwa issued ordering her death. Read more
Thailand: 157 teachers killed by Muslims - In the last ten years,157 teachers in Thailand have died at the hands of Muslim "separatists." The teachers have been killed, for the most part, for teaching girls. Just as in the USA, the Thai media refer to the Muslim terrorists as "insurgents" and rarely even mention Islam. Read more

OBAMA'S EGYPTIAN VICTORY - The left leaning media is celebrating President Barack Obama's "stunning" diplomacy in handling the crisis in Egypt and congratulating him for establishing democracy there. Hello! The Egyptian constitution has been suspended, Parliament has been dissolved and a military council is in charge of the country. On top of that, the largest organized group in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, has declared it will accept nothing short of sharia law. As for Obama, one day he called for democracy, the next day said Mubarak was a friend of America, and the day following that said the people should rule. In other words he flipped and flopped for several days until events played out. IS OBAMA IGNORING ISLAMIST DANGER? - In as hard hitting article in the Jewish Exponent, Morton A. Klein and Daniel Mandel clearly layout the missteps and ignorance of the Obama Administration. "Could the Egyptian population vote in the Muslim Brotherhood? Polls show it could. A 2007 University of Maryland survey shows that 67 percent of Egyptians favor all Arab countries united as one Islamist state. A 2010 Pew poll indicates that 74 percent of Egyptians favor the imposition of strict Sharia (Islamic) law. CREATE DEBT FOR PROSPERITY - President Obama has released his budget for 2012. The budget increases taxes and spending and would result in a tripling of the national debt held by the public between now and 2019. in 2012 the total debt of the government will exceed the entire Gross Domestic Product of the nation, something that has not happened since World War II when 20% of the nation's men were in uniform. PROTECT RELIGIOUS MINORITIES - Congressman Frank Wolf has introduced a bill that would force the State Department to create a special envoy to deal with repressed religious minorities in Islamic nations. Wolf, co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, said threats against religious minorities have been increasing in recent months and that the United States has an obligation to speak out for the voiceless, "If the international community fails to speak out, the prospects for religious pluralism and tolerance in the region are bleak," Wolf said in introducing HR 440. Please contact your congressman and ask him to co-sponsor HR-440. DEFUNDING PLANNED PARENTHOOD - Congressman Mike Pence is on a crusade to stop Planned Parenthood from receiving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars. As the largest abortion provider in the United States the organization is actually profitable and has no need for federal funds other than to bloat its budget. This week Congressman Pence introduced an amendment to the "CR" or Continuing Resolution to cut all funding from Planned Parenthood for the rest of the year. NOTE: The CR is required because the Democrat controlled House failed to pass a spending bills last year to fund government operations for this year.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN HOSTS GAY DRUG CRUISE - A young man died of an overdose of drugs on the first night of the Royal Caribbean's "gay cruise" on the Allure of the Seas. He was one of two young men to die on the seven day cruise which began on February 6th. By the time the drug dealer was caught late in the cruise he had already sold $51,000 in drugs and had little remaining to sell. The dealer, Steven Krumholz, age 51, was taken into custody by ICE agents in St. Thomas, USVI. Royal Caribbean advertises the Allure of the Seas as a family friendly ship which features Dreamworks characters from movies such as Shrek, Madagascar, and Kung Fu Panda. Few media outlets have reported on the drug arrest, and those that have did not report on the drug related deaths. The ship's doctors handled more drug related cases during the week than an emergency room in downtown Detroit. ISLAM'S GAY FREE ZONE IN LONDON- Homosexual news outlets in the UK are reporting that Islamists in London have posted stickers calling for a gay-free zone. The stickers were put up around schools and pubs, including a gay bar called George and Dragon. The stickers, which were said to be "professional" said, "Arise and Warn. Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment." The mainstream media in the UK is too cowardly to report the continued problems between Muslims and homosexuals because they support both groups. RAUF WANTS NEW DEVELOPER FOR MOSQUE - Sharif el-Gamal didn't do much for Imam Feisal Rauf other than to give him media scrutiny that exposed him as a slum landlord. Now, apparently, Rauf is looking for a new developer for a different "cultural center." During a puff interview on NPR Rauf said, "If someone were to offer a site that is equal or better," and which could accommodate a multi-faith center ... I'd be very receptive to that." ISLAM'S WAR ON THAILAND - You will not hear about the Islamic war against Thailand from any American news outlets, but the terror is real. Since the beginning of 2011 there have been 31 terror attacks in Thailand that have been documented, virtually all against innocent civilians who are Buddhists. So far 51 have died and more were injured. Most recently Muslims kidnapped and murdered two young Buddhist children in Yala. Many of the terror attacks are around the Yala and Pattani areas where Muslims want to create a separate sharia state for themselves. Thousands of Christian women were raped, the men murdered and homes stolen. More than half the Christian population was forced to flee and the media was virtually silent, almost giving permission to Muslims worldwide to murder Christians. Suddenly the media has discovered the murders of Christians in Egypt, Pakistan and Iraq. Just in the last few months the bombings of churches and the murders of Christians have become news worthy. It may be too little to late, but at last Fox News has acknowledged and reported on the previous lack of media reporting on the slaughter.

FRIEND OF SHARIAH - "Mr. Obama is pursuing policies favored by those who adhere to the repressive, supremacist and virulently anti-American Islamic political-military-legal program its adherents call shariah," according to security expert Frank Gaffney. In a recent article on the Egyptian crisis Gaffney went on to explain, "In Iran, shariah is already the law of the land, ruthlessly enforced by the Shiite theocrats of Tehran. In Egypt, the Mubarak regime's failure faithfully to enforce shariah is one of the principal impetuses behind the Iranian mullahs' Sunni wannabe counterparts, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB or, in Arabic, Ikhwan)." That is just part of the indictment of President Barack Obama by former Undersecretary of Defense Frank Gaffney. In his latest article Gaffney details how Obama is supporting the advancement of the radical Islamic agenda either by ignorance or deliberate intent. Read more IS EGYPT THE NEW IRAN - President Jimmy Carter declared that he had helped bring democracy to Iran in 1979. Within a few months the notion of democracy was replaced by a Islamic theocracy. President Barack Obama. much to the displeasure of Saudi Arabian royalty, has now "helped" bring about democracy in Egypt. My take: Within one year any concept of democracy will be gone, replaced by either an Iranian type theocracy of a military government.

DON'T LET FCC KILL FREE SPEECH - U.S. Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) and U.S. Congressman Greg Walden (R-OR) introduced the Broadcaster Freedom Act to prevent the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) from reinstating the Fairness Doctrine, which would suppress free speech by requiring the government to monitor political views and decide what constitute fair political discourse. "The American people cherish freedom, especially freedom of speech and of the press. Bringing back the Fairness Doctrine would amount to government control over political views expressed on the public airways," said Pence, a former broadcaster. "We must pass the Broadcaster Freedom Act and bury the Fairness Doctrine once and for all."

"WHITE MALE" THREATENS TO BOMB MOSQUE - just a few days ago the liberal media ran the story of a "white male Vietnam veteran" who attempted to bomb a mosque in Detroit. The Islamic organization CAIR immediately issued a press release stating this proved "Islamaphobia." OOPS ... the man, Roger Dale Stockham, converted to Islam in an Indonesian prison and speaks fluent Arabic. He threatened to bomb the mosque because it was Shiite. Previously he had been arrested for threatening the life of President George W. Bush while he was in office. As soon as it became apparent that Stockham was a Muslim, the mainstream media dropped the story. SOCIAL CONSERVATIVES AND CPAC - In a full-page ad in the February 7 edition of The Washington Times, a group of conservative leaders, including William J Murray of the Religious Freedom Coalition, said they are deeply troubled by the direction of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) - which opened on February 10. Prominent conservative groups boycotting CPAC include the American Family Association, Liberty Counsel, Family Research Council, the Heritage Foundation, Religious Freedom Coalition as well as such leaders as Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Jim DeMint and Sean Hannity.

INDONESIAN MOBS DESTROY CHURCHES - How often do we hear in the media about the "moderate" Muslims of Indonesia? Well, those moderate Muslims attacked Christians and destroyed several churches because a Christian accused of "blasphemy" was sentenced to only five years in jail. The crowd first attacked the Catholic Church of Saints Peter and Paul and wounded the priest. Father Saldanha was beaten by the mob, which then attacked and set fire to two Protestant churches, Bethel Church and Pantekosta Church, before terrorizing a Catholic orphanage and a hospital run by the Sisters of Providence. OBAMA'S RESPONSE TO JIHAD ATTACK: After learning that it was a Muslim who killed thirteen and wounded another thirty at Ft. Hood, President Obama said, "We don't know all the answers yet and I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts."
ALLAH AKBAR - Why was a Muslim who had openly stated that Islamic suicide bombings were justified, allowed to continue his commission as a Major in the United States Army? The short answer is the political correctness of both the George W. Bush and Barack Obama Administrations. Both Administrations have wanted Muslims in high positions in the military and government, to prove to the "Muslim world" that we don't discriminate. (NOTE: If an officer in the Saudi army were discovered to be a Christian he would first be beheaded and then his body would be crucified for display in a public square.) In reality Muslim leaders don't care about our political correctness, just world domination. Meanwhile Barack Obama continues to appoint Muslims to posts in Homeland Security.

Insiders in the White House say Obama has been "stunned" that there is so much resistance to his plans to raise fuel and energy prices as a means of "saving the planet," and so much resistance to creating a socialistic health care system. The real problem ... rich liberals like Obama and Pelosi live inside a fantasy, believing that everyone can somehow have all the comforts they have as millionaires, but furnished by the government rather than by hard work. (After all, neither Obama nor Pelosi ever had a real job before being elected to public office). The Obama-Pelosi logic has the same fatal flaw as did that of Karl Marx. In order for their Utopian fantasy to work, there must be unlimited resources that do not require rationing.

His ruling in Hinrichs v. Bosma was overturned. But now President Obama wants Hamilton promoted to the very court that overruled him. Judge Hamilton is pro-abortion and follows the liberal secular line against everything the Founders of this nation believed in. Currently his nomination is being blocked by Senators Inhofe and Sessions. Contact your Senator and let him know your feelings about promoting this radical to the 7th Circuit Court.

AARP BETS ON PELOSI - The seniors' group, AARP, has endorsed the Pelosi "health care reform" bill that would cut half a trillion dollars from Medicare. So why would AARP want to reduce the payments made by Medicare to the health of seniors? OOPS .... I almost forgot that AARP sells insurance that fills the gaps of what Medicare does not pay. The less Medicare pays, the more "gap" insurance AARP gets to sell. Last year the organization sold over a billion dollars in insurance to seniors. BUT ... can AARP trust Pelosi? Can AARP officials be sure that the next move by the Obama-Pelosi Utopians will not be to eliminate the insurance that AARP sells as well?
PELOSI'S HEALTH (ABORTION) BILL - Just yesterday 12 pro-lifers, out of a group of 150, were arrested at Nancy Pelosi's office at #235 Cannon office building. (She also has an office in the Capitol Building that protesters could not get to.) The group had two complete copies of the bill - all 2,000 pages which they ripped up page by page. Congressman Mike Pence urged an up or down vote on abortion funding in the "health reform" bill. See statement. Meanwhile thousands more gathered on the steps of the Capitol answering an "Emergency House Call" by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN). ALLAH AKBAR 2 - I was in my vehicle listening to FOX News on satellite radio when the first news of the shootings at Fort Hood came in. I knew immediately the shooter was a nutty Muslim by the nature of the act, as did everyone else who was listening. The FOX reaction by Shepard Smith was to immediately blame a returning solider with "post traumatic stress syndrome." I flipped to CNN where Ft. Hood was being depicted as a murderous place. The CNN commentator cited as her proof a murder at a drunken party last year and a murder-suicide in a love triangle several years ago. The AP story dispatched for Friday morning's newspapers did not mention that Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was a Muslim until paragraph 14 of the story. The first edition of the Wall Street Journal mentioned the killer's name, but managed to not once mention that he was a Muslim or that he shouted "Allah Akbar" before killing 13 people and wounding 30 more. As time moved on and more facts emerged, it became difficult for the media to ignore that the acts of Hasan sprang from his Islamic roots. My short analysis: Hasan wanted the Army to pay for his medical degree, but he wanted to serve Allah, not the United States of America. The best way for him to serve Allah, of course, was to kill infidels.
MARRIAGE WINS AGAIN - Even the New York Times called it "a stinging setback for the national gay-rights movement." Voters in the state of Maine stopped their liberal legislature from allowing same sex marriage in Maine, thus becoming the 31st state to vote to preserve marriage as an institution between one man and one woman. The vote came in the "liberal" Northeast where several states including Massachusetts have legalized same sex marriage. In states where same sex marriage is allowed, the voters were not allowed to decide. In most states that have same-sex marriage, it was ordered by the courts. It is likely that if a vote were allowed, the gay agenda would even lose in Massachusetts despite the very open homosexuality of Congressman Barney Frank.

IRANIAN CHRISTIANS STILL IN PRISON - Back in April I reported on Maryam Rostampour and Marzieh Amirizadeh Esmaeilabad who have been in the prison in Iran since March 5, because they would not renounce their faith in Jesus. When they once again refused to renounce their faith at an August hearing, they were put back in prison until October 7th to "think about it." During the last hearing they once again refused to renounce Jesus and are still being held on a charge of "apostasy" and of "promoting the Christian faith." President Barack Obama promotes a "dialogue" with this repressive state that violates human rights and has refused to comment on mass arrests and detentions in Iran stating that it was an "internal matter." Meanwhile Israel intercepted a shipment of 500 tons of missiles and other arms shipped from Iran to the Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. The missiles were to be used against Israeli civilians in a future attack.
IRAGI CHRISTIAN REFUGEES - The persecution of our brothers and sisters in Christ who fled Iraq has gotten worse since our troops left the cities. Rather than Christians returning to Iraq, more are making their way to Jordan and Syria. Our ministry is barred from operating in Syria, but our feeding and medical program continues in Jordan. A third shipment of medical supplies has been delivered, and last week we funded our feeding program in Amman for another three months. Your help is still needed.
SPECIAL IRAQI UPDATE - Our ministry partner from Jordan will be in Washington, DC in November, and arrangements have been made to visit several congressional offices. We will also prepare a large shipment of medical supplies to be sent back to the clinic we support in Jordan, enough to last through November and December. OBAMA SAYS THE WHITE COP IS STUPID -Can you just imagine the outrage if a black cop had arrested a white man in his home, and President George W. Bush, without checking the facts of the case, had called the black cop "stupid?" For weeks the mainstream media would have displayed screaming headlines calling Bush a racist. However, that is exactly what Barack Obama did on national TV. Without knowing any details, he sided with a black man who had been arrested by a white cop and called the white cop "stupid." This pretty much shows the racial bias of Obama. He sees everything through color and gender filters. "This post has to be filled by a woman and this post needs to be filled by a Hispanic," is now the thinking behind White House appointments. There is no such thing as searching for the best person for the job in the Obama Administration. Individuals such as Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor are picked not for qualifications, but because of race and gender. WHY DID GOP FUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD? - Last week I reported that a powerful Republican leader, Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) had offered an amendment to the appropriations bill that funds the Dept. of Health and Human Services (HHS). The amendment offered by Rep. Pence would end the funding of Planned Parenthood of America. (See his floor speech) Immediately I received dozens of e-mails pointing out that although the Republicans controlled the House for 12 years, no effort was made during that time to defund Planned Parenthood. In fact, when the Republicans controlled the House, the Senate and the White House they continued to fund Planned Parenthood. Is the GOP talk about conservative social values all for show? If social conservatives help them win next November, will the Republicans go back to their old habits of giving Planned Parenthood and ACORN money every year? CALIFORNIA SCHOOLS SAY ISLAM TREATS WOMEN EQUALLY TO MEN - And that is just he beginning of the nonsense. In California's public schools, more time is spent on Islam than on any other religion, and most of what is taught is Islamic propaganda written by "scholars" on the payroll of the Saudi government. Because Turkey was a Cold War ally of the West, Europe and America have turned a blind eye to the ethnic cleansing of northern Cyprus since the 1974 invasion of the island republic by Turkey. Since the invasion, the Turkish military has allowed more than 40,000 ancient icons and frescoes to he stripped from Christian sites and sold in Europe and the United States. Buyers of the stolen items seem to have no guilt or remorse. At this week's briefing on this issue, the panel was moderated by former US Ambassador to Cyprus Donald Bandler. Read more

WHY OBAMA CARE IS DEAD FOR NOW - The White House political machine is run by Rahm Israel Emanuel, who is Obama's Chief of Staff. His plan was to "flood" the Congress with Obama's full agenda all at once. He believed that hitting with the Stimulus, Cap and Trade, Health "reform," and gay issues all at once would overwhelm the Republicans and there would be instant victory. It didn't work. So much change so fast and without deliberation, scared the general public, particularly Independent voters, so much that the plan backfired. Now, virtually all of Obama's agenda is dead in the water. Although "Cap and Trade" passed the House, it is dead in the Senate. Meanwhile Senator Harry Reid has announced that he can't move forward with the "Health Reform." In the House, many of Obama's grand plans are stuck in committee with even Democrats afraid to vote for them because of the outcry from constituents back home. IMAM CALLS ON "PRESIDENT HUSSEIN" TO SAY JEWS RESPONSIBLE FOR 9-11 -This is not something off the wall ... this is a major imam in an Islamic nation who refers to Obama as President Hussein. He insists that "President Hussein" examine the documents of 9-11, where the imam says there is proof it was a Jewish conspiracy. No aircraft were used, according to him, and the buildings were booby trapped. Sadly, most of the Islamic world believes this nonsense. See clip
STIMULUS MONEY AT WORK - The Department of Agriculture spent well over one million dollars of "stimulus" money to buy 760,000 pounds of ham. That breaks out to about $1.50 a pound. Ham can be bought retail at just about any supermarket in America for under $1.00, Locally in supermarkets it is usually at around 79 cents a pound. No, I don't know what the ham was used for, but I'll bet it wasn't shipped to GITMO. Anyway, the expenditure for ham is not as bad as it could be, when one considers that $541,199 went to install one traffic light. Sort of gives you an idea of why no jobs are being created with the "Stimulus" funds.

AN EXCITED GOP? - In the last five days I have met with Minority Leader John Boehner twice. I have also met with GOP House Conference Chair Mike Pence and several other congressmen and Senators. I can honestly say that the depression that followed the election of Barack Obama last fall has been replaced by a "we can do it" attitude. I have not seen the social conservatives in Congress this mobilized in some time.
THEY WANT TO KILL US ALL - At one meeting I attended this week, Minority Leader John Boehner said about the voters attending the tea parties held across the nation, "They want to kill us all." He continued that, "They think all of us up here need to get booted out. We need to convert that activism to kicking out just the Democrats." The GOP leadership may finally be getting the message. If they want back in office they are going to have to at least act like they are conservative.

WALTER CRONKITE A MAN WE COULD TRUST? - Most Americans alive today do not even remember newsman Walter Cronkite. But to read his obituary, you would think he was the only man in the news business that was even handed and universally trusted. However, I am old enough to remember him. Cronkite favored a one world government financed by global taxes. He said the US should renounce "some of its sovereignty." The video has risen in popularity on YouTube with nearly a million viewings. The commercial emphasized that the baby she carried was at high social risk, with a broken home, a father who would abandon him and a single mother. NO NEW ROADS IN STIMULUS - Congressman Eric Cantor, the Minority Whip, stated that only 12 cents on the dollar of the $900 billion stimulus could be considered as being spent on infrastructure. Senator Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma in his analysis said only $30 billion of the $900 billion was for roads and bridges. Where does the majority of the money go? The rest of the billions of dollars is pay-off for groups that helped elect Democrats. ACORN will get $4.9 billion. There is $2.7 billion for embryonic research which kills unborn babies for their parts; $150 billion to double the Department of Education's funding; $1.5 billion to build "green schools," and more. Almost 90% of the bill is pork to liberal groups and ideals that will not stimulate the economy.
STIMULUS COST - The "Stimulus Bill" comes at a cost of $2,700 for each man, woman and child in the United States if we all paid up this year. But our government is going to borrow this money from the Chinese and the Saudis with initial interest of $45 billion per year. Odds are that our government will never be able to pay the principle and our great great grandchildren will still be paying interest on the loans.
