Obama's rebels establish sharia law - In most rebel occupied areas of Syria there is none of the "freedom" that Obama claimed would be established by the rebels he supports. Instead, rights have been stripped from women, and there is no freedom of speech or press because the areas are run strictly by Sharia law. Read more
Obama's war on religion - Bill Donohue of the Catholic League wrote a well documented column on Barack Obama's assault on religion -- an assault which does not seem to include Islam. The column has appeared at both NewsMax and the Catholic Leagues' internet site. I highly recommend it not only for Catholics, but for evangelicals and conservative Jews as well. Read more

Senator Rubio defends public prayer - In an op-ed just prior to the Supreme Court hearings on allowing prayers before public meetings, Senator Rubio said: I believe that part of what distinguishes America from the rest of the world is that we do not feel threatened by each other's faiths. The tradition of praying before meetings of governing or legislative bodies is common all across our country. In fact, it has been meaningful to me in my own career as a public servant." Read more
Prayer Caucus chairman defends public prayer - In a statement after the oral arguments at the Supreme Court on prayer before town-hall meetings, Congressman Randy Forbes made this statement: "The Establishment Clause of the Constitution was designed by the Founding Fathers to prohibit the government from coercing citizens to adhere, or not adhere, to a certain belief; it is not a license to remove all religious references from the public square." No special protection for drag queens - Nebraska Senators Deb Fischer and Mike Johanns have gone on record to oppose passage of the so-called "Employment Non-Discrimination Act" (ENDA), which would make drag queens, cross-dressers and transsexuals into federally protected minority groups. Washington Post reluctantly covers terror story - Wednesday morning, the Washington Post published an article describing the use of social media by Syrian terrorists to memorialize killers who died in battle. The dead terrorists' faces were made to appear as if they were smiling. The Religious Freedom Coalition and WorldNetDaily ran stories on these Syrian "martyrs" back in July and correctly labeled them as terrorists, not "fighters" as does the Post. Read more

Syria: Huge statue of Jesus erected - In a government controlled area of Syria a statue of Jesus was erected on a mountain and can be seen from Lebanon, Jordan and Israel. In the Obama rebel controlled area the same week, a statue of the Virgin Mary was destroyed. Read more
Norway: Imam says all Muslims believe in killing gays - At an address delivered in English in Norway, Fahad Qureshi, founder of the Norwegian Islam Net organization, said that "normal" Muslims, not just radical extremists, support the death penalty for homosexuals, and stoning for adulterers. Move U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem? -
Palestinian officials are fuming after Mitt Romney stated that
Jerusalem is Israel's capital. Romney implied, but did not state, that
he would follow the law and move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to
Jerusalem if elected. Barack Obama has not only refused to honor the law
passed by Congress to move the Embassy, but the U.S Consulate now in
Jerusalem conducts business in Arabic, not Hebrew.
Same-sex marriage and conservatives - What happens if the Republican Party moves away from endorsing "traditional marriage" in favor of an "its all about the economy approach?" In the U.K. the conservative party went that route, and has lost 60% of its paid membership since Prime Minister David Cameron announced he would forge ahead and endorse "same-sex marriage." Even Barack Obama is facing a backlash from Black ministers because of his endorsement of sodomy -- and he is a left-winger.

Obama executive order to help blacks only - This
week Obama signed an executive order, an excerpt of which states the
goal of "increasing college access and success for African American
students and providing support to help ensure that a greater percentage
of African Americans complete college and contribute to the goal of
having America again lead the world in the proportion of adults who are
college graduates by 2020." But the goal is not "every American". The
goal is to force whites, Hispanics and Asians out of entrance slots into
colleges. This same executive order would bar public schools from
expelling more blacks from school than the percentage of their
population in the school, regardless of the offense. is this racist? of

Resolution on Syrian Christians - Congressman
Bilirakas (R-FL) who is the co-chair of the International Religious
Freedom Caucus has entered a resolution calling for the protection of
the "religious minorities" in Syria in light of the continued growing
presence of Al-Qaeda growth in that nation. His resolution (H.Res. 763)
comes at a time when more and more congressmen and Senators are being
alerted to the truth about the nature of the Islamist uprising in Syria.

Chick-fil-A Day - Congratulations
go to Gov. Mike Huckabee for his efforts in organizing a Chick-fil-A
appreciation day on Wednesday. Gov. Huckabee had over 25 million visits
to his Internet site to get details. At many Chick-fil-A stores, people
had to wait more than an hour to get a sandwich. To show their
"tolerance" , McDonald's is handing out free chicken sandwich vouchers
to homosexuals who plan to demonstrate against Chick-fil-A's pro
traditional stance today.
Chick-fil-A protest backfires - Adam Smith, who posted an online video of himself going through a Chick-fil-A drive-thru and ordering only the free water, was canned from his gig as chief financial officer of Vante, a Tucson medical manufacturing company, after the video made the rounds. Read more

evidence mounts that foreign Islamists are fighting alongside Syria's
increasingly radicalized rebels, Christians in Aleppo and elsewhere are
taking up arms, often supplied by the regime. "We saw what happened to
the Christians in Iraq," Abu George, a Christian resident of Aleppo's
Aziza district told GlobalPost. "What is going on in Aleppo is not a
popular revolution for democracy and freedom. The fighters of the
so-called Free Syrian Army are radical Sunnis who want to establish an

That explains why the FBI was too concerned about political correctness to launch an investigation of Major Hasan, who later killed 13 service members in the 2009 attack at Fort Hood. This is bizarre political correctness considering that same-sex couples who are not married don't seem to have the same problem. My bet: If they were Muslims the accommodation would be made.

Pray for Victory - I
have just returned from an extended Middle Eastern trip. During that
time I visited facilities we support in Israel as well as Jordan and
other areas. As part of the mission trip I visited not only with
Christian refugees, but with some Muslims who had been combatants in
Syria against the secular government. I learned that the prayers of
Islamists are very different from ours. Islamists pray for victory; we
pray for safety. Read more

Obama's newest Middle East Lie -
(Note, the author is currently in the Middle East) President Barack
Obama promised Jewish leaders in the United States that he would not
invite the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt to the White House
unless he publicly stated there would be no change in the relationship
with Israel. President Obama lied. Mohammed Morsi had been invited to
the White House after direct threats to Israel. Meanwhile Hillary
Clinton is on her way to Cairo to press Morsi (don't laugh too hard) to

Romney may throw election - It
appears that Gov. Mitt Romney is considering throwing the election to
Barack Obama by adding someone disliked by social conservatives and
detested by those against "nation building." Condi Rice, the
"pro-choice" Secretary of State who destroyed the US relationship with
Russia and called for even more dead American servicemen to bring
"democracy" to Muslim nations is now one of the top three on the moron's

Republican House held a meaningless repeal vote on ObamaCare this week.
The majority passed the repeal knowing full well it was only symbolic
and that there would be no vote on the repeal in the Senate.

There was an armed clash between tribes in southern Jordan in which
machine guns were used. The information was totally suppressed by the
media worldwide in keep the rouse alive that Jordan is a moderate and
stable state.

Jordan - First hand report three - Saudi
Arabia has moved a significant military force to its border with
Jordan. Troops that protected the boarder with Iraq to stop Shiites from
entering have been moved to the Jordan border as well. The Saudis are
"encouraging" King Abdullah of Jordan to allow their armies to cross
over Jordan and invade Syria if required to assist the "rebels." (Note:
The absolute monarch of Saudi Arabia who runs the most repressive
government in the world says he wants to bring true democracy to Syria
and protect human rights there. Hillary Clinton actually believes this
insane statement.) Currently the salaries of the "Free Syrian Army" are
being paid by the Saudi government. The weapons transferred to Al-Qaeda
rebels in Syria by the Turkish government are paid for by Saudi Arabia.
Why? Syria is an ally of Iran. The Saudi's want to cut off Iranian
influence to the Mediterranean. If Syria is cut out of the "Shiite
crescent" from Iran though Lebanon then the power crescent is destroyed.

I am in the process of visiting Syrian Christians effected by the rebel
advances. I have been interviewing refugees and talking with officials.
The situation is so bad that I have developed writer's block. I'll try
to report on the subject next week.

prohibiting abortions based on the sex of the child. With his support,
Democrats defeated a bill in the House that would outlaw abortions for
the purpose of sex selection. Undercover videos revealed, and Planned
Parenthood confirmed, that it would abort children based on sex except

NEW AD POINTS TO MORE OBAMA VIOLATIONS OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM -
The Religious Freedom Coalition has a continuing advertising campaign
designed to stop President Barack Obama's frequent attacks on religious
freedom. This past weekend, an ad listing even more of Obama's egregious
insults to religious freedom was placed in the weekly edition of the
New York Times which is distributed in Washington, DC and mailed to all

CONGRESS
PRENDA VOTE -
My good friend Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) introduced H.R. 3541,
the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act (PRENDA) after learning that Planned
Parenthood would abort babies for the purpose of sex-selection. The
bill was considered under suspension, requiring a two-thirds majority to
pass. PRENDA failed to reach the two-thirds majority. The final vote
of 246 to 168 was because of massive Democrat opposition. A total of 7
Republicans and 161 Democrats did not agree with most Americans, that
abortions based on sex-selection are wrong. Read more

BLACK PASTORS ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE - Shortly
after President Obama and the NAACP endorsed same-sex marriage as a
civil liberties issue, African-American pastors met in Washington, DC
and were interviewed on the issue. The vast majority do not believe
marriage rites should be extended to homosexuals and lesbians. Read more
NO SHARIA FOR KANSAS -A
bill banning foreign laws, including Sharia Islamic law, from being
used in Kansas to determine legal matters was signed by GOP Kansas
Governor Sam Brownback recently. Both the Kansas House and Senate had
voted overwhelmingly in favor. While opponents say Muslim tenets are
unfairly targeted by the legislation, supporters say it is designed to
uphold the U.S. Constitution. Read more
NO STRAIGHT SEX FOR CALIFORNIA - The
California Senate voted 23-13 in favor of a bill prohibiting counselors
and therapists from telling young people it is possible to change
same-sex attractions. The bill has sparked outrage from individuals who
have overcome unwanted same-sex feelings sparked by childhood sexual
abuse. It is also being opposed by Pacific Justice Institute, whose
attorneys believe its blanket ban on certain types of counseling is

MORE DEATH THREATS FOR GEERT WILDERS - Police
in Amsterdam have arrested the spokesperson of the Islamist group
Sharia4Holland on charges of making death threats against the Dutch
Freedom Party leader, Geert Wilders. Abu Qasim was arrested after a
speech he gave in Amsterdam's central Dam Square on May 25 (video here), when he warned that Wilders would be "dealt with" once the Netherlands became an Islamic state.
UK PRISON INMATES FORCED TO CONVERT TO ISLAM - Prisoners are under pressure to convert to an Islamic "gang" at a high-security jail, with non-Muslims in fear of violence just for cooking bacon, according to an official report. Muslim prisoners at the top security jail doubled in two years. Muslims represent around a third of all prisoners at Whitemoor Prison in Cambridgeshire. Prison guards said they had a policy of "appeasement" towards the powerful and growing Islamic population, particularly convicted terrorists who were feared to be recruiting future extremists. National Day of Prayer Special Report
On the National Day of Prayer
my morning began with a prayer group on the Supreme Court Plaza. Our
group actually had permission to pray, as long as our group did not
constitute a "demonstration." The line between the two is very ill
defined. I was joined by several activists on Capitol Hill including
Peggy Nienaber of Faith and Action
as well as Rev. Patrick Mahoney. After praying for the nation we had
the opportunity to have breakfast at the Supreme Court cafeteria where
we joined together in saying grace before eating.
The National Day of Prayer was changed to the first Thursday in May during President Ronald Reagan's last year in office in 1988. The original law, signed by President Harry Truman, did not specify a date which caused some confusion over several decades.
This past Thursday thousands of public prayer meetings were held across the nation including one here on Capitol Hill. The national meeting was held in the Caucus Room of the Cannon House Office Building just a block from the Capitol Building itself. For the sixth year in a row the host for the National Day of Prayer in the Capitol complex was Congressman Robert Aderholt of Alabama. In my capacity as chairman of Government Is Not God -PAC, I endorsed and helped to elect Robert Aderholt to Congress back in 1996. He has been working to further family values since his election.
Also present during the three hours of prayer in the Caucus Room were Congressman Randy Forbes of Virginia and his wife, Shirley. Congressman Forbes, also elected with the help of Government Is Not God - PAC back in 2001, founded the Congressional Prayer Caucus which has 105 members. Each week upon their return to the Hill the members of the Prayer Caucus meet in Room 219 in the Capitol Building itself to pray. A national movement in State houses for prayer caucuses has begun following Congressman Forbes' example.
At this year's prayer meeting Congressman Forbes shared miraculous events which occurred in his life as a result of prayer, including the survival of his first child despite doctors telling him that he and his wife needed to say their goodbyes to their newborn son.
The overall chairman of the National Day of Prayer event in Washington each year is Shirley Dobson, the wife of Dr. James Dobson. The military and every branch of government was represented -- except for the Administration -- as President Obama did not send a representative. One of the highlights of the day was the Azula Pacific University all men's choir which sang several traditional hymns a cappella.
After the National Day of Prayer meeting which lasted from 9:00 AM to noon, I attended a special lunch with Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas for the International Israel Allies Caucus. Congressman Gohmert spoke of his most recent trip to Israel and his meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu. (Note: It was Congressman Gohmert who initiated the recommendation that led to Speaker Boehner inviting Prime Minister Netanyahu to speak to a joint session of Congress in 2010.) The congressman spoke of the continued need for prayer, but also reminded us that while Israel is mentioned as being part of End Time prophecy, the United States is not. He said nations that do not stand with Israel should not expect their God to protect them.
At 2:00 PM on the National Day of Prayer I made my way to a meeting at the Capitol Visitors' Center (CVC) which sits below the actual Capitol Building grounds. While most people believe this is merely a tourist entrance since the shooting at Tom Delay's office some years ago, it is actually an official business entrance as well. Also unknown to tourists is the fact that the CVC has both House and Senate meeting rooms that can be reserved only by Members of Congress for their use or the use of their constituents for special events. Full catering service is available.

This is a prayer and fasting campaign to begin on September 28th and run through Election Day, November 6th. The object is to pray and fast for America to turn back to a godly path and to elect godly leaders.

THE MIKE HUCKABEE SHOW
I
was scheduled to appear the Fox News Channel's Mike Huckabee Show this
weekend, however, while on the train to New York I received a call that I
had been "bumped" for a breaking news segment on pro-life Chinese
activist Chen Guangcheng
who was forced out of the U.S. Embassy by Secretary of State Clinton
when she arrived in China to promote the sale of more U.S. Debt.
(Without Chinese loans the United States would be forced to disband the
entire military.) Because I was in transit to New York the decision was
made to tape my segment which centers on my book, My Life Without God,
and show it at a later date. The taping will still be done in front of a
live audience, and I will post the date of the actual show on the
book's Facebook page as soon as it is known. You can help get the word out about the book my giving the page a "like."
