Obama's main man in Egypt out - President Obama's Arab Spring which features the installation of Islamists governments in the Middle East derailed somewhat this week as the Egyptian military deposed Muslim Brotherhood President Morsi from power. The current head of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammed Badie, was arrested for the deaths of eight protestors outside his headquarters.
Obama's proxy war on Christians - With the recent decision to arm the opposition fighting Syrian President Assad, President Obama has effectively declared a proxy war on Syria's indigenous Christians, yet it is being presented to the American people as a war to safeguard the "human rights" and "freedoms" of the Syrian people. Congress in recess - Congress is in recess for Independence Day and will reconvene on Monday, July 8th, 2013.
Senator Cruz: don't arm Syrian terrorists - Texas Senator Ted Cruz was on the Senate floor recently explaining to his colleagues why Obama is wrong to arm Syrian terrorists to overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad. Cruz's logic is very simple: We shouldn't arm Islamic terrorists who wish to kill us. Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. Syria: Towns face rebels mass murder - Obama supported "rebels" have threatened to kill all 50,000 residents of two towns near Aleppo they have under siege unless they surrender. The towns have been cut off from water and food by the "rebels" for nearly a year and that is OK with the West. Read more
Egypt - Many Christian girls kidnapped under Morsi rule - Churches were anxiously awaiting on Friday, July 5, to learn whether Egypt's new president would be able to end massive kidnappings of Christians, many of them Coptic Christian girls, as well as wealthy believers. The abductions have become a sensitive issue for Adly Mansour who was sworn in as interim head of state this week. Read more
China: Muslims kill another 27 people - Muslims attacked police and other people with knives and set fire to police cars in China's restive far-western region this week in violence that killed 27 people, one of the bloodiest incidents since unrest in the regional capital killed nearly 200 in 2009. CIA specialist: Democracy will make Islam moderate - The featured column in the Wall Street Journal by former CIA Middle East specialist Reuel Marc Gerecht this week was pure establishment boilerplate, and no surprise. His conclusion was simplistic: Democracy diminished religious influence in the West; therefore, creating democracies in Muslim nations will lead to a weakened, moderate form of Islam. This is the kind of "expert" advice that led George W. Bush into disaster in Iraq, and encouraged Barack Obama to usher the Muslim Brotherhood into Egypt, Libya and Tunisia, with an even worse outcome. In a lengthy column at WND, I responded to Gerecht's ludicrous assertions. See my column here
Obama says nothing about deaths in Egypt - in the last days of President Mubarak's secular government, dozens of protesters died in riots. President Obama was quick to ridicule the Egyptian leader and said he had to go. Now that Obama's Muslim Brotherhood buddy, Mohammed Morsi, has declared martial law and the death toll is almost the White House is strangely silent.
Congress
House out, but Senate in - The House is in "District work session" which means they are either back home in their state offices dealing with constituents, or out fund raising for reelection. Harry Reid's Senate is in session in Washington this week working on "immigration reform."
Legalizing the illegals - Senators Harry Reid, John McCain and a couple others have a bipartisan "comprehensive immigration" bill that most Republicans seem ready to accept. The bill has nothing to do with immigration but rather gives legal status to those who are now here illegally. It does nothing to bring well educated, English speaking workers to our nation. However - those needing good nannies or Russian girl friends should fly them in soon, so they will have legal status when the bill is signed into law.

Educating Sean Hannity on the Koran- Sean Hannity has gone after Egyptian President Morsi's anti-Semitic comments for several days on Fox News, but never refers to Morsi source material which is the Koran. Dr. Andrew Bostom attempts to educate Hannity in a well referenced column as to the source of the hatred toward Jews - the Koran. Read Bostom's column here.
Muslim prayers in public school library - In Maryland, the Muslim Brotherhood-founded Muslim Student Association is now on high school campuses, performing dawah and spreading sharia. One of their victories, with the help of terror-linked CAIR, is convincing the school to use the library as a mosque for daily prayers. Read more

Afghanistan: Six-year-old girl sold to pay debts - This is happening under the watchful eye of our military on a regular basis. (But so does the drug running.) A poor family unable to pay their debts has sold their six-year-old daughter to a relative for marriage to a boy ten years her senior. You will not hear a word about this outrage from the National Organization for Women (NOW) or other liberals because they only bash Christianity, never Islamic traditions. Read more
Liberated women in Mali - Women in Goa, Mali took to the streets to celebrate after French forces liberated the city from the murdering Islamic terrorists who had occupied it. The big question here is will Huffpost and other liberal outlets declare these women "Islamophobic?" Read more
UK: Muslim rapes 13 year old but no jail time because "He didn't know it was wrong" - In the UK being critical of Islam on Facebook will get you arrested and tossed in jail. However, this Muslim rapes a 13-year-old girl and there is no jail time because his "religious education" taught him that "women are worthless." Read more

The Presidency Egyptians can thank Obama for martial law - Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, by issuing a decree this week that allows the military to arrest civilians, has in effect placed that nation under martial law. Morsi will rule by decree as a dictator, he says, only until the vote on a new constitution is held. Then, of course, the new constitution will give him nearly dictatorial power. In September, 2011 at the United Nations, President Barack Obama praised the Arab Spring: "One year ago, Egypt had known one president for nearly 30 years," Obama said. "But for 18 days, the eyes of the world were glued to Tahrir Square, where Egyptians from all walks of life - men and women, young and old, Muslim and Christian - demanded their universal rights." In reality, as sharia law arrives, Christians and women will lose all of the rights they had under the government Obama helped to overthrow.
Obama sends more F-16's to Egypt - On January 13, 2013 the United States will send four of an ordered twenty new advanced F-16 fighters to Egypt. These will be added to the existing 200 that Egypt already has. Said House Committee on Foreign Affairs chairman, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida, "The Obama administration wants to simply throw money at an Egyptian government that the president cannot even clearly state is an ally of the United States." There is growing fear in Israel of the weapons being handed over to Egypt by the United States. Malou Innocent, a foreign policy analyst at the Cato Institute said, "Should an overreaction [by Egypt] spiral into a broader conflict between Egypt and Israel, such a scenario would put U.S. officials in an embarrassing position of having supplied massive amounts of military hardware to both belligerents."
Obama: "Unions built Detroit" - Detroit has lost more than half its population over the last few decades. Virtually all industry has departed the city and the state of Michigan -- except for government supported auto makers. Unions and their arcane rules destroyed the industrial base of Michigan by refusing to allow industries to modernize. The current Republican governor wants to attract manufacturing back to the state with Right-to-Work legislation that would end forced union membership. Obama disagrees saying, "You only have to look to Michigan where workers were instrumental in reviving the auto industry to see how unions have helped build not just a stronger middle class but a stronger America." A psychiatrist would refer to this as "magic thought or "delusional thinking."

Senator blasts UN on Human Rights - Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) on Monday spoke out against human slavery and in support of religious liberty around the world. Monday was International Human Rights Day, which was created by the U.N. Declaration on Human Rights in 1948. The U.N., which is run by totalitarians and human rights abusers, seldom lives up to its own declarations. It is refreshing to see Sen. Marco Rubio sincerely denounce human slavery, the persecution of women and the violation of religious liberty around the globe. Read more

FEMA says no to churches and synagogues - In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, many New York churches and synagogues have discovered that they are ineligible for financial assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA grants are available to a variety of nonprofit organizations; however, houses of worship are not included on the list. Ironically, many of the churches and synagogues of New York provided shelter for those forced from their homes during the storm.

Most Egyptians do not want freedom of speech - About 70 per cent of the Egyptian population will vote in favor of the constitution drafted by Islamists. This overwhelming support for the draft constitution was registered despite the fact that as my colleague Andrew McCarthy re-affirmed on12/8/12, the charter effectively, "denies freedom of conscience," and "denies freedom of expression." Obama's new Egypt: Secularist gets prison for blasphemy - A Cairo court sentenced activist Alber Saber to three years in prison for "contempt of religion." Prosecutors also accused Saber of running a Facebook page that "promoted extremist ideas" and atheism, as well as insulting the divine, prophets and Islamic and Christian religious rites and describing God as weak. Amnesty International called the ruling "an outrageous assault on freedom of expression."

Obama sponsored riots come to peaceful Jordan - The reelection of Barack Hussein Obama has made jihadists around the world confident they can overthrow even more "moderate" governments. The Muslim Brotherhood has now sponsored riots in Jordan allegedly because the government dropped fuel subsidies. This is the same benefit drop that allegedly caused the riots in Egypt that brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power there. A second Obama term is a green light for Islamic aggression. (See International for attacks on Israel.)
The Obama-Morsi love affair - Barack Hussein Obama loves the Muslim Brotherhood and his favorite of the bunch is Mohammed Morsi, the president of Egypt. "Moderate" Morsi just ordered the Egyptian ambassador out of Israel. Morsi is angry that the Israelis fired back at the Gaza Strip after over 150 rockets hit Israel. It is Morsi's position, and probably that of Obama, that Israel should absorb the attacks without retaliation. NOTE: As of Thursday Israel had been hit by over 850 rockets in 2012.

Why are Benghazi hearings secret? - Both the House and Senate held closed hearings today on the continuing and broadening Benghazi situation ... Why is it secret? Congressmen will ask the State Department why a group of known jihadists who had fought against the United States in Iraq were guarding the consulate in Benghazi. The February 17th Martyrs Brigade was formed in memory of those killed attacking the Italian Consulate in Benghazi on February 17th, 2006. At the time, Libyan strong man Gadafi was an ally of the West and defended the Italian consulate. In doing so he killed 13 "martyrs." The attack on the Italian consulate was a protest against an Italian minister who was DEFENDING FREE SPEECH." The February 17th Martyrs Brigade went on to fight against American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the organization Hillary Clinton hired to defend the American Consulate in Benghazi! Now you know why the hearings are secret. I could disclose more, but I don't want a visit from the FBI.
Congress in, then out - Congress was in this past week for hearings but for no votes of any consequence. The House will adjourn to district work next week because of Thanksgiving and return to the Capitol on November 27th. No vote on the "fiscal cliff" can possibly be made prior to December.

Time to give up, says Focus on Family leader - Several years ago Jim Daly organized a coup against Focus on the Family founder Jame Dobson. He convinced the Board of Directors that Dobson was too political, and that to make the organization grow it needed to drop politics. Since Daly's take over, the organization has declined radically. His new solution is to toss in the white flag on same-sex marriage because he says, "demographics are against us." The real solution for conservative Christians is to oust those like Daly who want to follow the world instead of the Lord. Read more.
Higher unemployment and higher costs - On Thursday the government reported initial weekly jobless claims surged by 78,000 last week to 439,000. That marked the highest level since April 2011. In the closing weeks of the election the Obama Administration reported jobless claims dropping.

Obama reelected, Israel attacked - What a coincidence! Barack Hussein Obama is elected and immediately hundreds of rockets pour down into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile the jihadist rebels supported by Barack Obama in Syria take over the villages around the Golan Heights and Hezbollah moves heavy weapons to Israel's northern border. Seventy percent of Jews voted for Obama, but eighty-five percent of Muslims also voted for him. Which group will he stand with? Does he "have Israel's back" as he said, or will he back the Muslim Brotherhood's call for Islamist control of the entire Middle East?
Syrian Christians Murdered - In October a video appeared on the Internet showing Syrian "rebels" murdering a dozen unarmed men. The news media reported the video as showing Syrian Army soldiers who had been captured being executed without trial. Somehow no one in the media noticed that none of these men were wearing military uniforms or military style boots. Most of the men were also clean shaven, indicating that they were probably not Muslims. In reality the men had been kidnapped from a Christian neighborhood the "rebels" had invaded in a town west of Aleppo. Some of the men in the video were recognized by workers in Syria who have assisted us in distributing aid to Christians. These men were murdered by the "rebels" simply because they were Christians. Others were murdered in Saraqeb south of Aleppo.
Last Christian in Homs killed - The last Christian to remain in Homs, Syria was murdered this past week. 84-year-old Elias Mansour, a Greek-Orthodox Christian did not want to leave his home on Wadi Sayeh street - even though he knew his life was in danger - to care for a handicapped son. Mansour reportedly said that nothing would induce him to leave his home, adding that, if he met the rebels, "He would remind them about the Ten Commandments and the Holy Scriptures." There were 80,000 Christians in Homs when the Islamists began the uprising against the secular government there and ran them out.

Obama sponsored riots come to peaceful Jordan - The reelection of Barack Hussein Obama has made jihadists around the world confident they can overthrow even more "moderate" governments. The Muslim Brotherhood has now sponsored riots in Jordan allegedly because the government dropped fuel subsidies. This is the same benefit drop that allegedly caused the riots in Egypt that brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power there. A second Obama term is a green light for Islamic aggression. The Obama-Morsi love affair - Barack Hussein Obama loves the Muslim Brotherhood and his favorite of the bunch is Mohammed Morsi, the president of Egypt. "Moderate" Morsi just ordered the Egyptian ambassador out of Israel. Morsi is angry that the Israelis fired back at the Gaza Strip after over 150 rockets hit Israel. It is Morsi's position, and probably that of Obama, that Israel should absorb the attacks without retaliation. NOTE: As of Thursday Israel had been hit by over 850 rockets in 2012.

Forcing homosexuality on America - The
man who was running the White House for President Barack Obama for two
years has vowed to shut down any business in Chicago whose owners say
they are Christians who oppose homosexuality. Mayor Rahm Emanuel is not
just the mayor of Chicago, he is a spokesman for the Barack Obama
campaign and the former Chief of Staff to the President. The mayor has
stated that those who want to practice free speech will not be allowed
to do business in his city. Read more
White House: The Capital of Israel is ?
- White House Press Secretary Jay Carney evaded a question at
Thursday's press briefing regarding which city the U.S. considers to be
the capital of Israel. Carney refused to disclose whether the U.S.
officially believes Jerusalem or Tel Aviv to be the capital of Israel.

Obama creates office to help only blacks - The
President of the United States, who is black, by executive order has
created a special office to assist only blacks because he says they are a
disadvantaged group. Let me repeat that: The President of the United
States of America, the most powerful man in the world, who is black, has
ordered a racist office by executive order to assist blacks only. Am I
the only one who seems to think this is a little odd? Perhaps Obama is
right on this; after all, his immigration policy will reduce the
relative size of the black community in the US, as Hispanics rise in
numbers and blacks become marginalized.
CONGRESS
Cantor urges tolerance -
The Majority Leader of the House, Eric Cantor, is one of the most
conservative men I have ever met. After the GOP leadership had a meeting
with the new head of the party, Mitt Romney, there was a shift in
Majority Leader Cantor's stance. The first Jewish Majority Leader
announced that the GOP needed to he tolerant of Muslims and homosexuals.
(Note: Eric Cantor has been assigned more security than any other
congressman because of the Islamist threats against him.) His statement
came at the same time Senator John McCain walked onto the Senate floor
and denounced Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for her "Islamophobia."

Resolution on Syrian Christians - A
Member of Congress, whose name I cannot disclose at this point, has
been attempting to obtain the signatures of other congressmen on a
resolution asking that religious minorities (Christians) be protected in
Syria. This comes at a time that Senator John McCain is pushing for
heavy weapons to be given to the Islamists who are trying to overthrow
the secular government of Syria. Already dozens of churches in Syria
have been destroyed by the "rebels" and entire Christian families have
been murdered. When informed of the situation in Syria, many congressmen
have backed away form signing the resolution as soon as they realize it
calls for the protection of Christians. This is political correctness
at it worst!

Fifty years ago my atheist mother removed prayer from public schools.
Now the head of a ministry, Charlie Webster, says that was a good thing.
I disagree with him about removing the authority of God from our

American Olympic athletes' food receives Islamic blessing - Athletes
on the American Olympic team, which includes many devout Christians and
followers of other faiths, are unknowingly eating meat sacrificed with
the same words used by the 9/11 mass murderers as they hurtled into the

U.S.-backed rebels are committing Christian genocide in Syria, where

Obama's newest Middle East Lie -
(Note, the author is currently in the Middle East) President Barack
Obama promised Jewish leaders in the United States that he would not
invite the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt to the White House
unless he publicly stated there would be no change in the relationship
with Israel. President Obama lied. Mohammed Morsi had been invited to
the White House after direct threats to Israel. Meanwhile Hillary
Clinton is on her way to Cairo to press Morsi (don't laugh too hard) to

Barack Obama by adding someone disliked by social conservatives and
detested by those against "nation building." Condi Rice, the

its third month. Newspaper ads have already run the length of Florida

Congress and ObamaCare - The
Republican House held a meaningless repeal vote on ObamaCare this week.
The majority passed the repeal knowing full well it was only symbolic
and that there would be no vote on the repeal in the Senate.

machine guns were used. The information was totally suppressed by the

Jordan - First hand report three - Saudi
Arabia has moved a significant military force to its border with
Jordan. Troops that protected the boarder with Iraq to stop Shiites from
entering have been moved to the Jordan border as well. The Saudis are
"encouraging" King Abdullah of Jordan to allow their armies to cross
over Jordan and invade Syria if required to assist the "rebels." (Note:
The absolute monarch of Saudi Arabia who runs the most repressive
government in the world says he wants to bring true democracy to Syria
and protect human rights there. Hillary Clinton actually believes this
insane statement.) Currently the salaries of the "Free Syrian Army" are
being paid by the Saudi government. The weapons transferred to Al-Qaeda
rebels in Syria by the Turkish government are paid for by Saudi Arabia.
Why? Syria is an ally of Iran. The Saudi's want to cut off Iranian
influence to the Mediterranean. If Syria is cut out of the "Shiite
crescent" from Iran though Lebanon then the power crescent is destroyed.

I am in the process of visiting Syrian Christians effected by the rebel
advances. I have been interviewing refugees and talking with officials.
The situation is so bad that I have developed writer's block. I'll try
to report on the subject next week.
