THE PRESIDENCY 

Forcing homosexuality on America - The man who was running the White House for President Barack Obama for two years has vowed to shut down any business in Chicago whose owners say they are Christians who oppose homosexuality. Mayor Rahm Emanuel is not just the mayor of Chicago, he is a spokesman for the Barack Obama campaign and the former Chief of Staff to the President. The mayor has stated that those who want to practice free speech will not be allowed to do business in his city. Read more

White House: The Capital of Israel is ? - White House Press Secretary Jay Carney evaded a question at Thursday's press briefing regarding which city the U.S. considers to be the capital of Israel. Carney refused to disclose whether the U.S. officially believes Jerusalem or Tel Aviv to be the capital of Israel. See the video of jay Carney mumbling something here.

Obama creates office to help only blacks - The President of the United States, who is black, by executive order has created a special office to assist only blacks because he says they are a disadvantaged group. Let me repeat that: The President of the United States of America, the most powerful man in the world, who is black, has ordered a racist office by executive order to assist blacks only. Am I the only one who seems to think this is a little odd? Perhaps Obama is right on this; after all, his immigration policy will reduce the relative size of the black community in the US, as Hispanics rise in numbers and blacks become marginalized.

CONGRESS 

Cantor urges tolerance - The Majority Leader of the House, Eric Cantor, is one of the most conservative men I have ever met. After the GOP leadership had a meeting with the new head of the party, Mitt Romney, there was a shift in Majority Leader Cantor's stance. The first Jewish Majority Leader announced that the GOP needed to he tolerant of Muslims and homosexuals. (Note: Eric Cantor has been assigned more security than any other congressman because of the Islamist threats against him.) His statement came at the same time Senator John McCain walked onto the Senate floor and denounced Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for her "Islamophobia." Mitt Romney is in full charge of the GOP. What if Michele Bachmann is right? That is the question that World magazine dared to ask after Bachmann was attacked by not only the far-left but the GOP leadership because she exposed the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood into the State Department. See the World article here.

Resolution on Syrian Christians - A Member of Congress, whose name I cannot disclose at this point, has been attempting to obtain the signatures of other congressmen on a resolution asking that religious minorities (Christians) be protected in Syria. This comes at a time that Senator John McCain is pushing for heavy weapons to be given to the Islamists who are trying to overthrow the secular government of Syria. Already dozens of churches in Syria have been destroyed by the "rebels" and entire Christian families have been murdered. When informed of the situation in Syria, many congressmen have backed away form signing the resolution as soon as they realize it calls for the protection of Christians. This is political correctness at it worst!

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

My challenge to anti-prayer pastor - Fifty years ago my atheist mother removed prayer from public schools. Now the head of a ministry, Charlie Webster, says that was a good thing. I disagree with him about removing the authority of God from our schools. Read more.

American Olympic athletes' food receives Islamic blessing - Athletes on the American Olympic team, which includes many devout Christians and followers of other faiths, are unknowingly eating meat sacrificed with the same words used by the 9/11 mass murderers as they hurtled into the World Trade Center. Athletes representing France, where Islamic terrorists recently killed Jewish children outside a school, are also being force-fed halal meat by London 2012 officials. Read more

Egypt - Israel treaty? - Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi has stated to the Western media that he accepts the peace agreement with Israel, but has added "conditions" such as Israel giving the "right of return" to Palestinians, thus eliminating the Jewish state. Meanwhile Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Muhammad Badi' recently stated, "Every Muslim must act to save Jerusalem from the usurpers and to [liberate] Palestine from the claws of occupation. This is a personal duty for all Muslims. They must participate in jihad by [donating] money or [sacrificing] their life." Read more

Western approved war on Christians - U.S.-backed rebels are committing Christian genocide in Syria, where they are sacking churches and issuing threats that all Christians will be cleansed from rebel-held territory. A mass exodus of thousands of Christians is taking place, even as mainstream Western reporters, such as Robert Fisk, demonize these same Christians for being supportive of the secular regime. The bloody jihad waged against Nigeria's Christians, which has seen hundreds killed this year alone, now includes plans to kill Christians with poisoned food, as part of the Islamic organization Boko Haram's stated goal of purging Nigeria of all Christian presence. In November, 2008, just days after receiving billions of our tax dollars for a bail-out, American Express canceled credit lines of all their small business customers, making it impossible to buy inventory for Christmas and causing layoffs. At the same time American Express canceled the credit lines of non-profit organizations including the Religious Freedom Coalition. As a result of the actions of American Express, we will no longer accept American Express cards at our Internet site.

THE PRESIDENCY

BUSH GIVES GM LIFE SUPPORT - President George W. Bush is leaving office during an unpopular war, and with the nation in the worst economic condition since the Great Depression. He did not want to add to that the collapse of the domestic automotive industry which could lead to the loss of over two million more jobs. As a result, he has authorized a "bridge loan" that allows GM and Chrysler to survive until March 31st. This gives the new Obama Administration about ten weeks to work up a longer lasting solution. OBAMA SCANDAL ALREADY? - It appears the future Chief of Staff in the new Obama Administration had direct conversations with the disgraced governor of Illinois, and pushed for the appointment of Valerie Jarrett to Barack Obama's empty Senate seat. Rahm Emanuel had direct discussions with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. This contradicts statements by President-elect Obama and opens the door to questions of ethics in the "pay to play" Illinois scandal. Read more

AND - President-elect Obama is in a lot of hot water with the homosexuals who gave him millions of dollars during his campaign. His pick of Pastor Rick Warren to give the invocation at his inauguration has homosexuals hot, angry and calling names. To them freedom of speach is anything they agree with and nothing more. REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN RIPS INTO SECRETARY RICE - At a press conference in which the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom designated Iraq a "Country of Particular Concern" Congressmen Frank Wolf, a Republican, ripped into the Bush Administration and Secretary of State Rice. The congressman blamed the policies of Condoleezza Rice for enabling the persecution of Christians in Iraq. He said, ""We are spending billions of dollars and have shed the blood of some of this country's finest, and the U.S. government has not done a darn thing to protect the freedom and safety - forget freedom - the safety of Christians in Iraq. Secretary Rice has failed when it comes to this point." Read more about the USCIRF designation.

PAUL WEYRICH DIES - My good friend and a conservative icon died on Thursday, December 18, 2009. I have been a part of the famed invitation only "Weyrich lunch" for more than a decade, and I came to know and love Paul not only for his views, but for his personal courage. He continued to fight for social conservative views and common sense economic policies even after the loss of both his legs some years ago. WAR ON CHRISTMAS - An 11-year-old student in Hattiesburg, Mississippi wrote a poem about Christmas that included a mention of the Lord, but his teacher insisted that mentioning Jesus was not allowed and asked him to write a new poem. Read more.

IRAQ DECLARED "COUNTRY OF PARTICULAR CONCERN" - On Tuesday, December 16th the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom designated Iraq as a Country of Particular Concern (CPC). This CPC designation from the USCIRF is a declaration that the Iraqi government is not protecting the religious freedom of Iraq's religious minorities. After six years of persecution in Iraq, an official body of the US government finally tells the truth about the effect of our invasion on the Christian minority. See USCRIF Internet site. THE PRESIDENCY

K STREET ATTACKS PALIN -Before the landing gear was down for the last landing of the McCain campaign aircraft in Arizona, the campaign manager, Rick Davis, was bashing Gov. Sarah Palin. According to him and the other K Street high dollar employees of the McCain campaign, the loss was all her fault. What can we expect? These guys will work for anyone if the price is right; they are just hired guns. Right now they have to place the blame for a poorly run campaign on others, as they look for their next sugar daddy.

OBAMA'S ABSOLUTE ENFORCER - President elect Barack Hussein Obama has made his first major decision and managed to anger people here and abroad. He picked Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff, an often-profane, combative Chicago congressman who worked in the Clinton Administration. Emanuel is a multi-millionaire, having made his money in investment banking, the kind of banking that has nearly bankrupted our financial system. He is also Jewish, which has led to immediate criticism from the Muslim world. Just 24 hours before, Muslims had been proclaiming Obama "President of the World." Meanwhile Republicans say that his choice shows Obama has no intention of being bipartisan. Read more on Emanuel.

THE CONGRESS

PELOSI'S PRO-DEATH BILL --Barack Obama has told Planned Parenthood that he would sign into law the Freedom of Choice Act, a bill that pro-lifers call the most radical piece of pro-abortion legislation ever. The bill, supported by San Francisco radical Nancy Pelosi, will eliminate all pro-life legislation passed over the last twenty years including the Partial Birth Abortion Ban. Under the Freedom of Choice Act, the government will directly fund abortion providers in the United States and overseas. Even state parental notification laws will be voided. GOP SHAKE UP - The day Newt Gingrich was ousted as House Speaker by the Republican establishment and replaced with Dennis (the destroyer) Hastert, it was all downhill for the Republicans in Congress. Rather than being revolutionary, the party quickly moved to the profane and corrupt ways of the Nixon Administration. Finally there is a shake up, but some of the good guys are being tossed out and some of the bad ones are staying. It is sort of a non-shake-up. Roy Blunt, an evangelical Christian believer and social conservative, has lost his job as Whip, but Minority Leader John (The Haircut) Boehner will stay on. Boehner is a manager and not a leader. The good news is that Mike Pence will move up as Conference Chairman. He was a long time head of the Republican Study Committee which is the caucus of true conservatives within the Republican House members. Our friend Eric Cantor may move into the Whip slot. The shake up is a mixed bag and not thorough enough. Read more

CULTURE AND RELIGION

THE TRADITIONAL FAMILY WINS BIG - In California, African-American voters came to the polls to vote for Barack Obama, but they also pulled the lever for Proposition 8 which banned same sex marriage. More than 70% of African-Americans voted for Proposition 8. Without the black Obama voters, court-ordered same sex marriage would have continued in California. Only 47% of white voters supported the ban on same sex marriage. Oddly, President-elect Barack Obama opposed Proposition 8 and favors same sex marriage. After reading the poll numbers it will be curious to see if Barack Obama continues his support of same sex marriage when he arrives at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in January. Because this was a Constitutional amendment it will be difficult for the radical left Supreme Court of California to once again order same-sex marriage.

This was just one of three major victories against same sex marriage on election day. Same sex Constitutional Amendments also were passed in Arizona and Florida by even wider margins. And again, it was African-American voters in Florida that led to the wide margin of the victory. Barack Obama carried Florida as he did California. John McCain carried Arizona. In Louisiana a ban against same sex couples adopting children was also passed. Read more

INTERNATIONAL

CHRISTIANS NOT RETURNING TO MOSUL - Few Iraqi Christians are returning to Mosul despite a government pledge of financial support and protection. The Iraqi prime minister has authorized a payment of 1 million Iraqi dinars - about $865 - to every Christian family that returns to Mosul. Only a handful of the 10,000 Christians who have left have returned.

The Western media, particularly the liberal American press, has reported that Iraqi police have "blanketed" Mosul to protect the Christians from continued attacks by Muslims. Our contacts in Iraq tell us that if any police were sent to Mosul they are staying in their barracks. After weeks of murders, car bombings and houses set on fire, Christians just do not believe that Muslim police officers sent from Baghdad will protect them. Read more
