The Presidency
U. S. supports jihadists now? - Less than 12 years after the devastating jihad attack on 9-11 that left thousands dead and our nation in shock, the Obama Administration is openly supporting radical Islamists in overthrowing secular governments in the Middle East. As I pointed out in my current WND.COM column Obama was not, unfortunately, the first president to support jihadists. Still, the post 9-11 support of Islamists should at least cause some in the media to a least ask questions, but that has not happened.
Obama wants removal of "right to life" from UN declaration - It is disturbing to learn that the U.S. delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women is calling for deleting a reaffirmation that every human being has the "inherent right to life, liberty and security of persons." This contradicts a foundational principle of citizens and civilizations worldwide. As chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition I signed a group letter letter to Secretary of State Kerry demanding that this outrageous position be changed.
The White House and Saudi persecution of Christians - In the last two weeks I have written a column for WND.COM and appeared on radio shows including Mike Huckabee's national show to expose the persecution of African Christians who are guest workers in Saudi Arabia. I have posted stories on Facebook that have had thousands of visits. I placed an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against the Saudi persecution of Christians. That petition can be faxed for free to your congressman if you will sign it. The net result of my two weeks of work is 14 people who have contacted their congressman. I am flat out ashamed at the response and embarrassed to actually show up at a congressman's office claiming I have support from the American Christian community to stop the persecution and torture of Christians in Saudi Arabia. No wonder Barack Obama is so confident of his support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi Arabia.
Congress
GOP Senator supports same-sex marriage now that son is "gay" - Senator Portman (R-OH) has given up his previously stated core beliefs and the position of his church to support same-sex marriage because he has a homosexual son. Homosexual sex is ultimately just as destructive as cocaine use. Would Portman suddenly call for the legalization of cocaine if his son had announced that he was a cocaine addict? Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihandists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing CIA help as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Provide your name and zip code, and a copy of the petition will be faxed to your congressman free of charge. See petition here.
Senator may help Christians in Saudi Arabia - This week I spoke to a Senator at length about the continued arrests and torture of guest workers in Saudi Arabia who are Christians. As of now only Congressman Fortenberry has spoken out in the House. A free fax petition is available to send to your congressman asking that he speak out against the abuse of Christians in Saudi Arabia. See petition here

Congressmen and media mourn Chavez - At news of the death of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, the left-wing mainstream media and a few Democrat allies came out of the woodwork to mourn the human rights violator extraordinaire. Democrat Rep. Jose Serrano (D-NY) led the way with a tweet suggesting that Chavez "was a leader that understood the needs of the poor. He was committed to empowering the powerless. R.I.P. France: Frenchmen fighting on both sides - The French government and media heaped scorn and shame on Muslim French citizens who went to Mali to fight jihad while French troops were there. However, there seems to be no critical voice regarding the 80 or so Muslim Frenchmen fighting jihad in Syria to establish an Islamic state. Rather, the French government is arguing for the EU to supply arms to jihadist fighters in Syria. Read more
UK - Muslim MP blames Jews for his 16 days in jail for killing man - Baron Nazir Ahmed received a suspension from the Conservative party for offering $13 million to any one who would kill George W. Bush. Now he has received a 16 day jail sentence for killing a man while he was driving and texting on his phone. He claims that he only received the "harsh" sentence because of a "Jewish conspiracy." I wonder how long a Christian who was not an MP would serve in jail for the same killing? Read more

The Presidency
Obama and the Saudi royals - There was no condemnation from the White House of the arrest of 53 Ethiopian Christians for praying in a private home in Saudi Arabia. No Senators expressed "outrage." In contrast, there was universal condemnation by our government and press when naked lesbians in Russia were arrested for demonstrating on the steps of an Orthodox Church. According to our government and press, this "free expression" should be allowed by Russia, but when Saudi authorities arrest Christians for praying in a private home, it is not a problem at all. White House: Some car bombs not as bad as others- When Islamist "rebels" set off car bombs and kill civilians in Iraq, it is a bad thing. But when Islamist "rebels" set off car bombs and kill children in Syria, it is --- well, just not mentioned. No statement came from the White House or State Department on the car bomb in a Damascus market that killed more than fifty people, including many children. The Administration blocked a resolution in the United Nations condemning the terrorist bombing. Read more
The great sequester scare - Bottom line: Border agents will be forced to take 14 days of unpaid leave during 2013, which amounts to about one day a month. Some civilian defense workers may be forced to take as many as 20 unpaid leave days this year. Further no layoffs can occur before April 1st by law. The government is NOT going to shut down march 1st and the nation is not going to go undefended because of cuts don't even bring the spending down in 2010 levels. The hysteria is nonsense. If the matter were serious, would the President have flown Air Force One to Florida to take golf lessons from Tiger Woods? Actions speak a lot louder than words.

Beheadings of Christians by Muslim in New Jersey- Americans must ask themselves if Muslim-style "multiculturalism" fits into the United States of America. Spain: Muslim kids must stay Muslim - Spain has agreed that children adopted from Muslim nations by Christians will be raised inside the home of the Christians as Muslims. This is now the law in Spain as that nation submits to Sharia. Read more

Egypt: Disappearing Coptic girls - Egypt has witnessed an increase in cases of disappearance among Coptic girls. There were 500 cases were reported in 2012 and 10 already in January 2013. Read more
Thailand: Fifty attacks last weekend by Islamists - Muslim insurgents fighting for a separate state in Thailand's deep south launched 50 bomb and arson attacks over the last weekend, killing three members of the security forces. Read more

PRESIDENCY 

DOES OBAMA WANTS U.S. TO DEFAULT? - Speaker Boehner said it this way: "President Obama would not take 'yes' for answer." Every time a deal was near on the debt limit issue, Obama moved the goal posts. Why? He didn't want a deal. Obama knows under the current economic and social situation he cannot win re-election. He owns the bad economy. But, if he can create a crisis and blame Republicans he thinks he can win. Obama is willing to harm the economy even further by causing our nation to default, if he feels he can win votes as a result.

WE PAID THE TALIBAN - It is official. The Pentagon acknowledged that payments from a $2.6 billion dollar trucking contract were used as payoff money to the Taliban. With the U.S. funds, Afghan contractors paid local drivers, who in turn paid local security forces for safe passage. Just like in the old fashioned protection rackets in Chicago, the local "security" paid the Taliban to let the trucks through. Our brave men and women in uniform are fighting and dying for payoff rackets like this in Afghanistan to continue. Meanwhile, Christians in Afghanistan continue to be persecuted even worse than they are in Iraq.

THE CONGRESS 

BOEHNER UNDER ATTACK - Many conservatives, particularly Tea Party backers, have settled on Speaker John Boehner as the villain rather than President Barack Obama. Wednesday I witnessed a Tea Party rally in which the Speaker was called just about everything but a human being. Do these "conservatives" want Nancy Pelosi back in charge? Do they want Obama for another four years? Do they want Harry Reid to continue to be in charge of the Senate? Why is all this money and energy being spent attacking Speaker Boehner instead of the real culprits who want to spend the nation into oblivion? There are lots of areas I disagree with Speaker Boehner on, but he is 90% on my side of the issues and I would rather have him than Nancy Pelosi who is not with me on issues even 1% of the time.  
REPUBLICAN SUICIDE - Somehow the Republican Party has managed to seize defeat from the jaws of victory. On Capitol Hill this week I watched in slow motion as President Barack Obama surrendered to Republican leaders and walked away with his head down. Not knowing what to do with this victory on the budget, Republicans immediately began to attack each other. 

RELIGION AND CULTURE 

ATHEISTS SUE OVER GROUND ZERO CROSS - American Atheists filed a lawsuit this week to stop the display of the Ground Zero Cross stating that "no other religions or philosophies will be honored." The cross consists of two intersecting steel beams found intact in the rubble at Ground Zero. It was given a home at the Ground Zero site by the 9/11 Memorial Museum this week. The suit is meritless and a publicity stunt. The 9/11 Memorial Museum is a private non-profit organization with no affiliation with the government.

ANOTHER MUSLIM ATTACK ON FORT HOOD - This week local police, not the military, stopped a Muslim soldier from killing even more service men and women at Ft Hood. Far from investigating the Muslim soldier, the Army had given him "conscientious objector" status because he said he could not go to Afghanistan to fight Muslim terrorists. A gun shop owner notified the Killeen, Texas police of the Muslim's purchase of gun powder. Pfc. Naser Abdo, who was AWOL at the time, had weapons and bomb making materials in his motel room near Fort Hood when captured. The military actively recruits Muslims to prove its political correctness. The New York Times, which immediately claimed the bombing in Norway was a done by a Christian, has not as yet referred to Abdo as a Muslim, and probably never will.

NO 911 MOSQUE

NEW YORK STILL FIGHTING 9/11 CHURCH - Mayor Bloomberg and New York City are continuing to fight against the reconstruction of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church which was destroyed in the 9/11 jihad attack on the United States. INTERNATIONAL 

NORWAY TERRORIST A CHRISTIAN? Not according to the mass killer himself. "As for the Church and science", he wrote, "it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings." Anders Behring Breivik also stated that he was a follower of Darwin and not of Jesus Christ. But the Washington Post and the New York Times proclaimed him a Christian the day of the attack. Why? On one of the 1,500 pages of his rambling "manifesto" he stated that like most Europeans he "could be considered a cultural Christian," in other words an atheist who is a cultural parasite. 
MORE NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS BURIED - Members of a church in Suleja, Niger state, ended a week of fasting and prayer on Saturday with a service for three Christians killed in a bombing by the Boko Haram. The All Christian Fellowship Mission Church members were leaving a Sunday worship service, when a bomb exploded. This is the third time this year bombs have targeted the Christian area of Suleja, just outside the capital. Read more

PRESIDENCY 
OBAMA MOVES AGAINST FOX NEWS - Do CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and CNBC pay for news stories? Of course. Do they pay officials in other nations for news leaks? Of course they do. But the U.S. Justice Department is preparing subpoenas as part of preliminary investigations into News Corp, relating to alleged foreign bribery in the U.K. over a phone hacking scandal at one of the company's newspapers. The Obama Administration has ordered the DOJ to go after News Corp in hopes they can shut up Fox News, but Obama may have a problem: It is my understanding that Fox News is currently amassing information on bribes paid overseas for news by the other major networks. 
OBAMA FINALLY TELLS THE TRUTH - When Obama ran for president in 2008 everyone knew he was lying when he claimed to support traditional marriage. Just as if we were living in the society ruled by Big Brother in the Orwellian novel 1984, we are now told by an Obama spokesman that Obama has always been against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and now supports legislation to end it. Ending DOMA would of course end the right of states to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages.
GAY LOVE IN THE TRENCHES - Under President Obama's direction, the new Pentagon chief Leon Panetta has decided to end the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military. He certified that repealing the gay prohibition will not hurt the military's ability to fight. With that certification from Panetta, President Obama officially lifted the ban today.

THE CONGRESS 

FORCE OTHER NATIONS TO BE GAY FRIENDLY - Enslaving women is OK with Democrats; just don't mistreat gays. In a late night session at a marathon committee markup of H.R. 2583, the Foreign Relations Authorization Act, Democrat Ranking Member, Howard Berman, offered an amendment that would have given the Secretary of State a directive to promote the LGBT agenda internationally. Although the amendment was defeated along party lines by Republicans, one question comes to mind: Why was their no reference to the rights of women or religious minorities in the amendment, only to gay rights? Answer: Although homosexuals are a very small minority, they give huge amounts of money to Democrat congressmen.

INTERNATIONAL 

OSLO, NORWAY ATTACKED - The attack on government buildings in Oslo, Norway today highlighted the fear sweeping Europe as a result of the failed policy of massive immigration to foster "multiculturalism." Not only was a car bomb used to attack buildings, including the Prime Minister's office, but a youth camp was attacked by a gunman dressed as a policeman. As of this writing at least seven are dead and many more injured.

ISLAMIC EMIRATES OF BRITAIN? - Muslims now want to turn twelve British cities, one called "Londonistan," into independent autonomous enclaves ruled by Islamic Sharia law. Called the Islamic Emirates Project, it uses the motto "The end of man-made law, and the start of Sharia law." The U.K. is now 5% Muslim and the radicalism of Islam there has changed the face of that nation and has most of the population in a constant state of fear. A stunning article by Soeren Kern in Hudson New York exposes the U.K situation which is on its way to the USA.

NOT JUST THE MIDDLE EAST - In Xingjian, China, Muslim separatists chanting 'Allah is the only god," attacked a police station last week, hacking two officers to death. They then murdered a woman and a teenage girl in the name of Allah. Many more people were injured, and the Chinese military was called in to restore order. In the last two weeks Islamic terrorists have killed 12 and injured numerous others in Thailand. Most of those murdered were Buddhists.
ANOTHER CHRISTIAN DIES IN PAKISTAN JAIL - A man accused of blasphemy and said to be mentally challenged, died in Lahore Camp Jail after what police said was a brief ailment. Shaukat Ali, 35, was imprisoned in 2007 under blasphemy charges. Read more

Commentary on the Ground Zero mosque

The Ground Zero mosque, Cordoba House, will not be an interfaith center. There will be no chapel or synagog nor will there be a center for Muslims to learn about the Christian faith. The Ground Zero mosque is a declaration of victory for radical Islam over democracy. See my commentary on Youtube.

THE PRESIDENCY 

NAVY SEAL NOT GUILTY - The last of three Navy Seals falsely accused by politically correct Navy officers of assaulting an Islamic terrorist murderer has been found not guilty. A military jury in Norfolk, Virginia rendered the verdict today in favor of Matthew McCabe. The young Navy Seal had thousands of followers on Facebook and petitions in the hundreds of thousands were signed on his behalf. In its quest to put the Navy Seals behind bars, the Navy actually flew two other Seals to Baghdad where the Islamic terrorist murderer, Ahmed Hashim Abed, testified that they had given him a "bloody lip." An oral surgeon testified for the defense that the blood probably came from an ulcer. The attempted prosecution of the three Seals has lowered the overall morale of special operations personnel in all branches of the service.  
TERROR AND POLITICAL CORRECTNESS - One of President Barack Obama's best buddies, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, accused conservatives of the attempted bombing in Times Square before anyone had any idea what had even happened. He told CBS News minutes after the attempted Islamic terrorist attack, "If I had to guess 25 cents, this would be exactly that, somebody who's homegrown, maybe a mentally deranged person or someone with a political agenda that doesn't like the health care bill or something, it could be anything." Yes mayor, anything other than Islamic terror. Then, after a Pakistani born radical was apprehended and confessed, Obama media cronie MSNBC ran a series of stories saying that Islamic terrorist Faisal Shahzad set off the bomb because his house was being foreclosed on. THE CONGRESS

CONGRESSMEN BACK EVANGELIST FRANKLIN GRAHAM - Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) and Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) and 35 other congressmen sent a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates Wednesday asking him to reconsider the decision to revoke an invitation to Rev. Franklin Graham to participate in a National Day of Prayer at the Pentagon. At a news conference Franks said, "Our Founding Fathers realized that chief among our inalienable liberties is the right to possess one's own religious beliefs, and the ability to express those beliefs freely. No one knows the cost of defending and protecting the sacred freedom of religious expression more than our noble men and women in the armed services. To rescind Franklin Graham's invitation for these overtly political reasons is a disgrace that is obviously being done to placate a few outspoken critics, and an affront to those ideals that are the essence of America and that are reflected throughout America's history." LETTING THE HEDGE FUNDS OFF THE HOOK - Financial reform is all the big rage among Democrats on Capitol Hill as they claim to rein in the evils of Wall Street. But the Financial Reform bill lets the big hedge funds off the hook. Hedge funds will continue to be able to trade huge blocks of stock in secret and will not have to disclose ownership. I wonder why? Could it be because the top 10 highest-paid hedge fund managers in 2009 gave political contributions almost exclusively to Democrats? According to Roll Call, "Over their lifetimes, those managers have given almost $33 million in campaign contributions to Democrats..." and virtually nothing to Republicans. In all, the big hedge fund managers gave 98% to Democrats and just 2% to Republicans. A union official said about Congressional treatment of the hedge funds, "It's very disconcerting to see this legislation moving forward that gives them a complete pass."

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - Evangelist Franklin Graham held an unauthorized prayer meeting outside the Pentagon on the National Day of Prayer after being "dis-invited" by the military brass because of complaints by the Muslim insiders who influence Secretary Gates and the Chiefs of Staff. During the prayer meeting he said, "I think its coming to this country where we (will) have the freedom to preach inside a church wall, but we will lose the freedom to do it outside. That day will probably come - maybe in my lifetime." Graham was the honorary chairman of the National Day of Prayer, a day set aside by Congress for our nation to pray. Read more at CNS.  
STUDENTS SENT HOME BECAUSE OF US FLAG - It just had to happen! A California high school sent five students home on "Cinco De Mayo" because they were wearing t-shirts with the US flag on them. The principal told them that the flag was "offensive" to the Mexicans at the high school who were celebrating "their independence day." Virtually every constitutional attorney in the nation has said that the Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill violated the free speech rights of the students. To make matters even worse, the Mexican students were allowed to display flags, some drawn on their faces and chests.
ANTI-JESUS ON SOUTH PARK - The semi pornographic and always vile cartoon series South Park censored a program that satirized Mohammad after death threats were made to the producers. True to their liberal double standard they now plan another series for the show based on Jesus Christ. It will of course be profane; the difference is that Christians will not threaten to murder the producers. See Fox News video.

CHRISTAN SCHOOL BUSES BOMBED IN IRAQ - The bombing of school buses near Mosul on May 2nd has caused the Catholic Archbishop of Mosul to call for UN intervention to protect Christians in Iraq. "It is urgently necessary to have a United Nations intervention to protect Christians in Iraq" stated Bishop George Casmoussa, Syrian Catholic Archbishop of Mossul. The Bishop spoke after a bomb attack on Sunday that killed four Christian students and injured 170.

The Bishop said, "The Christian community lives in fear. We are exhausted from continual violence, terror and insecurity. If this situation continues we can no longer live in this land, our beloved homeland." The day after the bombings more than 2,500 Christians from Hamdaniyah protested in the streets against the continuing attacks on innocent Christian civilians. Officially, the United States says that attacks on Christians in Iraq are "criminal" or "political" in nature and have nothing to do with persecution. Read more  
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AMBASSADOR - For almost two years the office of Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom has been vacant. It would be the Ambassador's responsibility to look into violations of religious freedom such as the attacks on Christians in Iraq. But Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are too busy selling bonds to Muslim despots who finance entitlements here in the United States, to bother with religious freedom. This week I spoke with Senator Jim DeMint and asked him to try to get the White House to fill the vacancy.

BASEBALL BAT DETERRENCE - Imagine a convenience store owner in a really bad neighborhood, whose only defense is a baseball bat he keeps behind the counter. His liberal son comes home from college, takes over the store and puts up a sign that says, "I will not use the baseball bat I have for self defense even if you point a gun at me." Sound familiar? That is the new nuclear weapons policy of the United States under Barack Obama. He has pledged that even if millions of Americans are killed by germ or chemical welfare that he will not strike the attacking nation with nuclear weapons. When challenged on this reckless policy by Sarah Palin, he said she "... is not much of an expert on nuclear issues." He assured Americans that he is taking the advice of the Joint Chief of Staff and the Secretary of Defense. Impressive sounding titles, but those are just guys he himself appoints, not impartial advisers at all.

IF YOU DISAGREE WITH OBAMA, YOU ARE A RACIST - That statement came out of the mouth of former President Jimmy Carter who leans toward antisemitism and promotes the destruction of Israel. Carter is a man who feels more at home with the terror group HAMAS in the Gaza Strip than in his home state of Georgia. He made a point of referring to "southern" racism in his remarks. He is not alone in using the race card against those who disagree with Obama. New York Times and Washington Post columnists as well as leaders in the Congressional Black Caucus have made the same statement. Please note that the Congressional Black Caucus is a racist organization with no white members. My message to the far left: Please keep playing the race card -- please! Barack Obama was elected by white independent voters, most of whom don't like the left's health care proposals. My message to the far left media: Be bold about calling those independent white voters bigots. Tell those independent voters that they are racists and that they are prone to violence. Get the charge up on the national media and keep it as loud as possible. With that drumbeat of hatred toward white independent voters, I am sure conservatives can take back the House and the Senate. PELOSI: IF YOU OPPOSE OBAMA YOU INCITE VIOLENCE - According to Nancy Pelosi, I am "inciting violence" by opposing anything that is promoted by Barack Obama. OK then. What about Operation Pink, the left wing anti-war group that opposes the Afghan war which Barack Obama intends to expand? When Code Pink leader Medea Benjamin denounced Obama's Afghan war plans, was she promoting violence as well? OH ... I get it. It is only conservatives who promote violence when they disagree with Obama. Here is my advice to left wing lunatic Nancy Pelosi: YOU GO GIRL ... Keep telling those white independent voters that elected Barack Obama that they are racist and violent. I will do all I can to help Nancy Pelosi spread her derogatory remarks about middle of the road independent voters who have some disagreements with Obama. 
ACORN CRACKED? - Both the House and the Senate have now voted to stop funding ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) because of undercover videos showing workers assisting individuals to cheat on taxes; get fraudulent loans; and assist in sex slavery of underage girls. Despite the clear evidence of criminal activity, seventy-five congressmen and seven Senators voted to continue funding ACORN. Virtually all of the congressmen who voted to continue funding were members of the Progressive Caucus. Most members of that caucus support the legalization of prostitution, homosexual marriage, and legalization of drugs such as marijuana. Congressman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) not only voted for ACORN, but later stated that barring funds from this criminal enterprise was "unconstitutional." More Nadler below:
LIBERALS TRY TO SINK DOMA - Jerry Nadler (D-New York) announced he will introduce a bill to repeal the Defense of of Marriage Act (DOMA). This is a law which I worked to help pass during the Clinton presidency in 1996, and it defines marriage, for federal purposes, as between a man and a woman. It also ensures that states will not be forced to recognize same sex marriages. And where did Mr. Nadler make his announcement about the new attempt to overturn DOMA? MAJOR PRAYER VICTORY - The outcome the ACLU wanted was clear. They demanded that two men be put in jail for saying grace before a meal in a public building. This time they lost, but it was in a Florida court, not a California court. The men, Frank Lay and Robert Freeman, were defended by Mat Staver, who founded the Liberty Counsel (See his news release) The ACLU wanted them jailed because they worked for a public school district. This is not over. Congressman Randy Forbes who heads the Prayer Caucus in Congress said, "Today it is the school employees in Santa Rosa County. Tomorrow it could be your kid's high school coach, your school's athletic sponsors, or your spouse. If we do not stand up today for our liberties and the right of all Americans to pray according to their faith, our children and grandchildren will have no foundation left on which to pray." THIS IS SCARY - A large group of Hollywood stars, on video, stated: "I pledge to be a servant of our president." The pledge of the group comes at the end of the video. To get there you have to listen to the word "change" being used so many times it is sort of sickening and you just want to turn it off. I have seen lots of soviet communist and Nazi propaganda films, and this falls right into that category. CHINA: STILL COMMUNIST THUGS - Sales of GM cars increased in China by 64% last quarter, so the Communists must be really good guys now. Think again. On Sunday, September 13 more than 400 communists with red armbands broke into the Good News Cloth Shoes Factory and destroyed all equipment and inventory. The factory is on the grounds of Fushan Church in Linfin City. Two bulldozers then destroyed the building's foundations The mob then beat Fushun church members, sending many to the hosptial. Why ? The communists just don't want to see any Christian enterprises prosper. Hindu mobs did the same thing in Orissa, India this year as did Muslim mobs in Pakistan.
