Week Ending September 28, 2007 - Washington, DC

Why doesn't the White House speak out about George Soros? / President to veto SCHIP / Nancy Pelosi and the disgusting ad depicting Jesus as a homosexual / Roy Blunt forces Soros ad vote in House / Should we boycott the Chinese Olympics? / Thought Crimes passes in Senate / About the Episcopal priest who is a Muslim / The media dines with a murderer / More on Iraqi Christians

PRESIDENT
BUSH AND SOROS- Billionaire George Soros probably represents a greater threat to American democracy than does Hitler-want-to-be Ahmadinejad of Iran. Yet President George W. Bush, to my knowledge, has not once addressed this threat, not even when George Soros pays off government officials. The Soros controlled "Open Society Institute" paid more than $720,000 to a NASA employee to be a "whistle blower." In that capacity James Hansen received national press coverage speaking out for the global warming cause. In 2006 about 2 million illegal Mexicans took to the street demanding amnesty and the media portrayed it as a spontaneous event and President Bush sympathiized with them. In reality the entire event was orchestrated and paid for by George Soros' $17 million from the Justice Fund. Soros is tampering with the entire democratic system with his ill-gained billions from currency trading, and the Administration says nothing. Has George Soros become so powerful that even the Administration is fearful of addressing his activities? R ead Investors Daily editorial concerning the Soros threat to democracy.
PRESIDENT'S VETO OF SCHIP - Imagine a federal medical insurance program that would have the bottom 15% of households paying for the children of the top 25% of households. That is the version of the the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) that President George W. Bush decided to veto. Under the Nancy Pelosi orchestrated give-a-way , a family of four earning as much as $82,600 a year could cancel the medical insurance on their kids and have the government pick up the tab. About 45 out of every 100 children eligible currently have private insurance. SCHIP was intended for "poor" children, not the children of middle class families who are already insured.

THE HOUSE
SOMETHING TRULY DISGUSTING - Radical Nancy Pelosi sees nothing wrong with an ad depicting the Last Supper with Jesus Christ and the Disciples depicted as homosexual sadomasochists. The advertisement, with the logo of Miller Beer, among others, is for an event in Pelosi's district. Click here for a report on this disgusting anti-Christian event that "Catholic" Nancy Pelosi supports.
BLUNT FORCES "BETRAY US" VOTE - Minority Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) managed to add a "germane" amendment to the CR (Continuing resolution that funds the government) condemning the George Soros MoveOn.org "Betray Us" ad in the Times. This forced more than 100 Democrats to vote for it and it passed overwhelmingly. The vote condemned the MoveOn.org advertisement attacking our top U.S. general in Iraq. The final vote was 341-79. The core "progressive caucus" (socialists who are controlled by George Soros and MoveOn.org) voted against the resolution.
OLYMPIC BOYCOTT? - Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) is having a problem getting support for his House Resolution 610 expressing the sense of Congress "to take immediate steps to boycott the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, unless the Chinese regime stops engaging in and supporting serious human rights abuses against its citizens and those in the Sudan, Burma and North Korea." In introducing the legislation he said, "In 1936, Nazi Germany hosted the Olympics giving Hitler a worldwide platform to show case his fascist propaganda. It was wrong to support the Olympic venue then and it's wrong for the United States to support this prestigious event being held in a similarly fascist regime in 2008." Please contact your congressman about this important resolution.

THE SENATE
THOUGHT CRIMES PASSES - On Thursday the Senate voted 60-39 on the cloture motion for the Kennedy/Smith "Hate" Crimes Amendment #3035 to the Defense Authorization Bill. The Amendment had nothing do to with Defense and everything to do with the money homosexuals pour into the Democrat Party. Following the closure vote, the amendment was adopted by a voice vote. The Kennedy Amendment would federalize all "hate crime" as "perceived" by the victim. The Senators then agreed under unanimous consent to dispense with the cloture vote on the Hatch Amendment #3047 which passed by 96- 3, a significant change from the last vote on this measure in 2000 which was 50-49. The Hatch bill is the Republican version of Hate Crimes legislation which leaves it up to the states, and which President Bush would probably sign into law. Read Senator Hatch's remarks about Senator Kennedy's unconstitutional and unnecessary legislation. If President Bush is presented the bill containing the Kennedy Thought Crimes amendment and vetoes it, that would be the first veto in history of defense appropriations.

RELIGION AND CULTURE
THE MEDIA AND MURDERERS - I was astonished to read a Time Magazine reporter's story about his "Dinner with Ahmadinejad." The tone of the article gives us a real clue as to how the American media deals with a Hitler-want-to-be such as Ahmandinejad or a Stalin-want-to-be like Hugo Chavez. Click here for Time's My dinner with Ahmadinejad."
THE MUSLIM WHO IS AN EPISCOPAL PRIEST - "I am both Muslim and Christian, just like I'm both an American of African descent and a woman. I'm 100 percent both," Rev. Ann Holmes Redding has told the Seattle Times. Her bishop, Rt. Rev. Vincent Warner, says he thinks the interfaith possibilities are exciting. If this sounds weird, consider the fact that the current head of the Episcopal Church was on Capitol Hill to testify before the Senate on Global warming. Besides being a pro-gay spiritual leader, she claims to be an oceanography expert. Meanwhile the "gay" Bishop, Gene Robinson, has been released from an alcohol treatment center. He said his alcohol problem came from "stress." Question: Who gave the church keys to the inmates at the funny house?

September Political Action Review

The MoveOn.org Party

A HUGE POWER SHIFT

A huge power shift has occurred in American politics. A nationalized citizen by the name of George Soros is now handing orders through his surrogate, Eli Pariser at MoveOn.org to hundreds of politicians including presidential candidates. One of the most powerful politicians in Washington, DC, Hillary Clinton, cowers in fear when her staff tells her she has a call from Eli Pariser who is the executive director of MoveOn.

During the testimony of General David Petraeus, the MoveOn.org ran a full page ad in the New York Times. They received a 2/3 discount on the attack ad which referred to General Petraeus as "General Betray Us." The New York Times later admitted that the ad space should not have been sold at a discount of $100,000, and that the ad violated their editorial policy. They ran it out of fear of MoveOn.org.

When Senator Cornyn (R-TX) introduced a resolution condemning the personal attack on General Petraeus in the ad, Senator Hillary Clinton got her marching orders from MoveOn.org. She was not to vote for the resolution. She was one of 25 Democrats who voted in favor of the outrageous MoveOn.org advertisement that shamelessly slandered a man who has spent his life unselfishly protecting this nation.

MoveOn.org is no longer a blogger paradise funded by Soros; it has become a huge political machine that is in fact a political party. MoveOn.org in many cases is churning more money into elections than the Democrat Party. In the last election cycle one House candidate received more than $500,000 from MoveOn.org in cash or other assistance such as TV advertising.

As a political action committee, GING-PAC is very limited in its total contributions to candidates. However, the Congress gave MoveOn.org and others of its type a huge loophole when they passed Senator McCain's "Campaign Reform" legislation. The MoveOn.org party can do just about anything it wants. George Soros and Eli Pariser are free to buy any election, while conservative organizations such as ours struggle to remain inside ridiculous laws that a Republican Congress passed and a Republican president signed into law.

We just can't compete with MoveOn.org unless the conservative movement can bring forth its own version of George Soros to bank roll a similar organization. While Soros and his billionaire buddies write checks for millions of dollars to the left wing zealots, our funding comes in at an average of $24.50 per check.

The list of the 20 Democrats MoveOn.org gave donations to in the last election is not complete. I only listed those who replaced Republicans. MoveOn.org funded six Senate and twenty-seven House races. You can check their bragging page at: http://pol.moveon.org/2006report.

UNTIL THEN

Conservative political action committees such as Government Is Not God need to have a major war chest available for the elections in 2008. If we cannot rival MoveOn.org, there will be a President Hillary Clinton and the House and Senate will be in the hands of extremists like Speaker Nancy Pelosi once again. We cannot participate and help elect godly social conservative candidates without funds. The first 2008 primary in January is just five months away.

If we are going to have an impact and put real conservatives in the House and Senate, men and women such as yourself must get involved.

NEW: The September 19th, 2007 issue of the Chairman's Report is now available online. See photos of petition deliveries! This issue contains information that has not appeared in weekly updates. Click here to read.

PRESIDENT
THE SOVIET EXPERT IN A NON SOVIET ERA- Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice is a true expert on the Soviet Union. Unfortunately for President Bush and the rest of the nation, the Soviet Union has not existed for nearly two decades. Rice has no clue about Middle Eastern affairs and has no hint as to the core beliefs of Islam. As a result she is actually calling for a "peace" conference in Washington of Islamic nations including terrorist states. Rice actually believes that an Islamist who signs a treaty can be trusted. President Bush would better serve himself by getting someone at State who is current on world affairs and not someone whose mind is still in the bygone era of Soviet style politics.
FAMILY DAY - On September 20th President George W. Bush issued his annual proclamation for "Family Day." This is an interesting proclamation that promotes the family as the cornerstone of civilization. Click here to read.

THE HOUSE
A REAL CIRCUS - San Francisco radical Nancy Pelosi has turned the United States House of Representatives into a circus where virtually nothing gets done. The House has become a mere podium for extremist proclamations blaming conservatives for everything from global warming to Islamic terror attacks. It is virtually impossible to work on any worthwhile legislation that does good by the American people. Pelosi takes her marching orders from the MoveOn Party!
THE MOVEON PARTY - At least one congressman has received over $500,000 from MoveOn.org. Take a look at this list and you will begin to understand the influence MoveOn has. The MoveOn.org party bought the last election and now they run the show!

THE SENATE
PRO-LIFE DOD AMENDMENT - Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) has introduced a unique pro-life amendment to the the Department of Defense appropriations bill. The Innocent Life amendment would prohibit the execution, while she is pregnant, of a woman sentenced to death by the federal government or any state. Because of long trial periods and appeals the situation would probably never arise; however, the bill refers to the "child in utero" and presents a real dilemma to pro-abortion Democrats. Most Democrats see no problem with the killing of unborn babies, but are against the execution of murderers and terrorists. Click here to read amendment.
SENATE CONDEMNS "BETRAY US" AD - The Senate voted to condemn the "Betray Us" advertisement placed in the New York Times by extremist political organization Moveon.org, which is financed by drug legalization activist billionaire George Soros. Although the Senate resolution did not mention Moveon.org by name, the intention was clear. Hillary Clinton, who has received many millions of dollars from Moveon.org, voted against the resolution. Other Democrat presidential hopefuls didn't show up to vote. The vote results made it clear that there are now three major parties in the United States: the Republican Party, the Democratic Party and the Moveon.org Party. Many Democrat leaders are in shock that Moveon.org executive director Eli Pariser now controls about half of the Democrat Senators. Click here to see how your Senator voted!
ULTRASOUND REQUIREMENT FOR ABORTION - U.S. Senator Sam Brownback introduced the Ultrasound Informed Consent Act this week. The legislation would require a doctor to perform an ultrasound and then share the results with each pregnant woman patient and allow her to view the images before he could perform an abortion.

RELIGION AND CULTURE
NEW YORK TIMES ADMITS TO BIAS - The Public Editor of the The New York Times admitted that the "Betray Us" advertisement attacking Gen. David Petraeus was sold to MoveOn.org at a discount rate it was not entitled to receive The editor further said that the Times violated its own advertising policies by published the ad. Click here for details.
