WASHINGTON POST SELLS ACCESS TO WHITE HOUSE

Not much about the Obama White house surprises me, but when the Washington Post offered to sell access to high level White House officials for a fee of $25,000 to $250,000 I was surprised. The offer was in a flier circulated to health care lobbyists this past Wednesday. One of the lobbyists was so embarrassed by the invitation to the home of the publisher of the Washington Post that he handed the flier over to Politico.com. Think about the implications ... A national newspaper asking for money from lobbyists to give them private access to high level members of the Obama Administration. Read more at Politico.com
