Obama embracing jihadists worldwide? - A growing body of evidence suggests the Obama administration is siding with radical Islamists around the world. An invitation to Washington for talks has been extended to Nafie Ali Nafie, a senior adviser to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir who is under indictment by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity (which by law prohibits his travel to the United States). "Such a meeting in Washington is an extraordinary reward to a regime that is guilty of serial genocide," writes analyst Eric Reeves. Read more
Obama Pentagon advisor's hate speech - "We face incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation's armed forces." Read more
Obama asks God to bless abortionists - Barack Obama was the first president ever to speak at a Planned Parenthood event, so it perhaps should not be shocking that when to took the stage he asked God to bless abortionists who kill the most helpless and innocent among us. Read more

Congressman supports National Day of Prayer - Congressman Roger Aderholt (R-AL) has taken on the task of supporting the National Day of Prayer in the nation's Capitol. Again this year he arranged for the Cannon Caucus Room to be used for the national event led by Shirley Dobson and Yvette Bright. Read more Congressman Frank Wolf also spoke at the event, highlighting the persecution of Christians worldwide.

Admiral defies Obama, vows to share faith - Rear Admiral William D. Lee vowed to continue to share his Christian faith at the National Day of Prayer observance on Capitol Hill this week. The Admiral spoke 'from the heart,' pledging not to back down from "my right under the Constitution to tell a young man that there is hope." Read more
Saudi diplomat in USA holding slaves? - Two women were rescued from a Saudi diplomat's home after it was raided for human trafficking. The home in northern Virginia is owned by the Saudi Arabian government. Customs Enforcement spokesman Brandon Montgomery said the women - who are from the Philippines - were possible victims of domestic servitude. Read more

Syria: US and EU funded jihadists kidnap Bishops - Bishop Boulos Yazigi of the Greek Orthodox Church and Bishop John Ibrahim of the Assyrian Orthodox Church were abducted on Monday, April 22nd, while traveling outside Aleppo. MUSLIM KILLERS CAUGHT IN BOSTON - One Muslim Chechen is dead, and his brother captured. Many members of the liberal media expressed disbelief that Muslims could be involved and until the proof was at their door insisted that the Tea Party of Christian "right-wingers" were somehow involved.

The Presidency
Boston terror but Ft. Hood not terror - Under immediate criticism for not saying that the Boston Marathon bombing was terror related, President Obama's spokesman said that yes indeed, it was terror. However the killing of 19 at Ft. Hood by Nidal Hasan while he shouted Allah Akbar, is still "workplace violence." Because the Boston bombing occurred on Tax Day, perhaps Obama thought it was not Muslim related and he was safe to call it "terror."
Congress
Poison attack on Capitol Hill - A letter containing ricin, a deadly poison, was sent to Senator Wicker's office by a deranged Elvis impersonator who is now under arrest. In addition, security was very tight because of the Boston bombing by Muslims, to the point of outdoor trash cans being turned upside down.

Media see no Muslin evil - The Western media would go berserk if a well known American Christian leader would suggest that the Catholics should have the White House, the Baptists the Congress, The Methodists the police and the Pentecostals the Army. Yet there is no reaction in the press to one of the leading Islamic scholars in Egypt stating which branch of Islam should run which branch of government. Read more
YouTube see no Muslim evil - During 2012, numerous YouTube pages posted installments from a series of detailed video lessons produced by the military wing of Hamas, the 'Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades. Most of the videos are about half an hour long, and demonstrate bomb-making and using various weapons. Read more

Jordan: Horrific "honor" killing - Jordanian police reported an apparent "honor killing" Sunday after finding the burned body of a pregnant woman whose throat had been slit and abdomen cut open to expose the fetus. Read more
Jewish activist warns of Christian persecution - A Jewish political activist warns Christians are endangered in majority Islamic areas and asks the question, "Why is the West so shamefully silent in the face of the onslaught against Christian peoples and communities throughout the Islamic realm?" Why Israel, why now? - That is the question of many professional Middle Eastern experts as they watch President Obama's trip to Israel unfold. He and Prime Minister Netanyahu seem to be lavishing praise on each other, although it is widley known the two men detest each other. My guess: Obama will promise future support for Israel in return for putting the Muslim Brotherhood in charge not only in Syria but in Jordan as well.
Obama to Israeli youth -Pretend you are Palestinians - These were Obama's exact words to Israeli college students: ""Put yourself in their shoes - look at the world through their eyes. It is not fair that a Palestinian child cannot grow up in a state of her own, and lives with the presence of a foreign army that controls the movements of her parents every single day." Note that he called the Israel Army presence in Samaria "foreign."
Great Green Con - Global warming is not normally an issue for this update, but it sure is an issue for President Barack Obama who wants to spend trillions of taxpayers dollars to save the planet from getting warmer - OOPS - there seems to be a problem. The Earth is not warming as predicted by the gloomsters. Read more

Jewish Senator supports jihadists in Syria - Armed Services Chairman Carl Levin, who is Jewish, has joined Senator John McCain in calling on Obama to bomb airports in Syria to help establish yet another Islamist state on the border of Israel. Strangely, the two Senators used a chemical attack by the Islamists on Syrian government troops as a reason to bomb the Syrian government troops.
Conservative Senators offer Pro-life legislation - Florida Senator Marco Rubio is offering the "Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act." This will require that an abortionist, before performing an abortion on a minor from another state, must first notify one parent, unless the minor is the victim of sexual abuse or faces a life-endangering emergency. Other pro-life amendments to budget bills were offered by Senators Mike Lee and David Vitter. Read more

We must guard against sending anonymous faxes to congressmen. We must be able to prove that the fax you send is from a real person in his district. If we don't have the safeguards in place the faxes go in the trash. The information collected is confidential and not sold.

Is US foreign aid to Egypt a "jizya?" - In sharia law, jizya refers either to tribute paid by non-Muslim nations to ward off jihad attack, or to a head tax paid by conquered non-Muslim adult males living under Islamic conditions. Islamic scholar Dr. Mark Durie asks if the current foreign aid to Islamic nations is not in fact a payment of tribute or jizya. Read more
Lesbian parenthood and drinking - The American Pediatric Society made a statement approving of same-sex marriage saying the outcome for children is no different than for those raised in normal homes. Meanwhile the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has awarded $2.7 million to study why lesbians are at a higher "risk for hazardous drinking." This follows another study to learn why most lesbians are obese. Dysfunctional is dysfunctional, and same-sex relationships are as dysfunctional as hazardous drinking and eating.

Nigeria - Muslims murder Christian family's baby - Muslims killed a six month old baby and four others at a funeral being held for Christians who had previously been killed by Muslim gunmen. Read more
Syria: Hamas supporter to head Syrian "rebels" - U.S. media is reporting that Ghassan Hitto, known to have been a leader in several U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas support organizations, has been elected by the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) as head of an interim government in Syria. Read more
Iraq - 56 dead, 240 injured by bombs - The Al-Qaeda that Barack Obama declared was in disarray, staged twenty bombings and other attacks in Iraq on the tenth anniversary of the U.S invasion. Read more
"Moderate" Indonesia to tear down church - Around 100 Indonesian Christians begged the government Thursday to halt the demolition of their church, as hundreds of Muslim protesters branded them "infidels" and demanded the building be torn down. Read more

U. S. supports jihadists now? - Less than 12 years after the devastating jihad attack on 9-11 that left thousands dead and our nation in shock, the Obama Administration is openly supporting radical Islamists in overthrowing secular governments in the Middle East. As I pointed out in my current WND.COM column Obama was not, unfortunately, the first president to support jihadists. Still, the post 9-11 support of Islamists should at least cause some in the media to a least ask questions, but that has not happened.
Obama wants removal of "right to life" from UN declaration - It is disturbing to learn that the U.S. delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women is calling for deleting a reaffirmation that every human being has the "inherent right to life, liberty and security of persons." This contradicts a foundational principle of citizens and civilizations worldwide. As chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition I signed a group letter letter to Secretary of State Kerry demanding that this outrageous position be changed.
The White House and Saudi persecution of Christians - In the last two weeks I have written a column for WND.COM and appeared on radio shows including Mike Huckabee's national show to expose the persecution of African Christians who are guest workers in Saudi Arabia. I have posted stories on Facebook that have had thousands of visits. I placed an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against the Saudi persecution of Christians. That petition can be faxed for free to your congressman if you will sign it. The net result of my two weeks of work is 14 people who have contacted their congressman. I am flat out ashamed at the response and embarrassed to actually show up at a congressman's office claiming I have support from the American Christian community to stop the persecution and torture of Christians in Saudi Arabia. No wonder Barack Obama is so confident of his support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi Arabia.

GOP Senator supports same-sex marriage now that son is "gay" - Senator Portman (R-OH) has given up his previously stated core beliefs and the position of his church to support same-sex marriage because he has a homosexual son. Homosexual sex is ultimately just as destructive as cocaine use. Would Portman suddenly call for the legalization of cocaine if his son had announced that he was a cocaine addict? Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihandists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing CIA help as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Senator may help Christians in Saudi Arabia - This week I spoke to a Senator at length about the continued arrests and torture of guest workers in Saudi Arabia who are Christians. France: Frenchmen fighting on both sides - The French government and media heaped scorn and shame on Muslim French citizens who went to Mali to fight jihad while French troops were there. However, there seems to be no critical voice regarding the 80 or so Muslim Frenchmen fighting jihad in Syria to establish an Islamic state. Rather, the French government is arguing for the EU to supply arms to jihadist fighters in Syria. Read more
UK - Muslim MP blames Jews for his 16 days in jail for killing man - Baron Nazir Ahmed received a suspension from the Conservative party for offering $13 million to any one who would kill George W. Bush. Now he has received a 16 day jail sentence for killing a man while he was driving and texting on his phone. He claims that he only received the "harsh" sentence because of a "Jewish conspiracy." I wonder how long a Christian who was not an MP would serve in jail for the same killing? Read more

Senator grills Holder on social issues - Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled Attorney General Eric Holder on his views about using armed drones to kill Americans on US soil, and on the Obama Administration's refusal to enforce laws that it does not like - rather than upholding all laws passed by Congress. Cruz noted that Holder's DOJ has refused to enforce voter intimidation laws against the New Black Panthers; has chosen not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act; and has chosen to ignore laws involving illegal immigration. Bill to protect religious freedom in ObamaCare - Congressmen Diane Black (R-TN), Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), and John Fleming, M.D. (R-LA) held a press conference to announce the introduction of the Health Care Conscience Rights Act (HCCRA). This legislation would protect Americans' First Amendment rights and would stop the Obama Administration's assault on religious freedom. HCCRA offers a reprieve from ongoing violations of our First Amendment, including full exemption from the Obama Administration's Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate and conscience protection for individuals and health care entities that refuse to provide, pay for, or refer patients to abortion providers because of their deeply-held, reasoned beliefs. HCCRA has 50 original co-sponsors. Read more
Senator slams Muslim Brotherhood - Sen. John Cornyn (R.-TX) condemned Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood on Sunday evening for "trying to create a new Islamic dictatorship" in the Middle East. "The Muslim Brotherhood president in Egypt is trying to create a new Islamic dictatorship," Cornyn said during a speech before thousands of delegates at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's 2013 policy conference. Egypt: Coptic Christians fear US support of Morsi - Thanks to Barack Hussein Obama, Coptic Christians in Egypt are being increasingly persecuted and marginalized under the Muslim Brotherhood regime of Mohamed Morsi. Nigeria - Boko Haram attacks army during their "cease fire" - At least 20 people have been killed in a foiled attack on a military site in Borno state. The attack happened on Sunday in Monguno village in Borno state. Meanwhile Governor Ibrahim Gaidem of Yobe State said that the Boko Haram has destroyed 209 schools in that state.
Bangladesh - Is that blood on your shirt? - Most of those Khol's shirts for men now come from Bangladesh. Check them for Christian and Hindu blood. Acts of violence, especially against Bangladesh's Hindu minority, and strikes (hartal) continue across the country as Jamaat-e-Islami supporters call for reunification with Pakistan, and the creation of a "pure" state, free of its non-Muslim population.Read more

Nigeria - Boko Haram attacks army during their "cease fire" - At least 20 people have been killed in a foiled attack on a military site in Borno state. The attack happened on Sunday in Monguno village in Borno state. Meanwhile Governor Ibrahim Gaidem of Yobe State said that the Boko Haram has destroyed 209 schools in that state.
Bangladesh - Is that blood on your shirt? - Most of those Khol's shirts for men now come from Bangladesh. Check them for Christian and Hindu blood. These provisions were specifically inserted by Congress to protect chaplains who refuse to preform "same-sex" marriage. 113th Congress sworn in - I was on Capitol Hill on Thursday, January 3rd as the 113th Congress was sworn in. Only families of the Members are allowed at the actual swearing, but I attended reception with some of those that were elected with the help of the PAC of which I am the chairman. My PAC helped elect socially conservative Senators Cruz (R-TX) and Deb Fischer (R-NE). Please note that note a single economic conservative candidate backed by Karl Rove's PAC won. Every candidate Rove backed that ran away from social issues lost.
House: One in five faces new - There are 82 new Members in the 435 seat House and 14 new Senators. On the House side almost 20% of the Members are new although one did previously serve back in the 1980's. There are also two empty seats because of resignations that occurred before the new 113th Congress even had a chance to convene. The only African-American in the Senate is a Republican. Everywhere I go conservatives champion "term limits" because Congressmen "stay forever." The reality is different: The average length of service for Representatives is currently 9.8 years (4.9 terms) and for Senators is 11.4 years (1.9 terms). List of 85 new Members

Al Gore takes oil money and helps Islamists - Al Gore is helping the advance of radical Islam in the USA by selling his failing TV network for a huge profit to a radical Islamist network that prided itself in showing IED's killing Americans in Iraq. F-16's to Egypt and F-35's to Turkey - I have previously reported that the United States will begin delivery to Egypt this month of advance F-16 fighters and the newest version of the Abrams tank. Our government also approved the sale of ultra-advanced F-35 to Turkey which has declared itself an enemy of Israel. Turkey will purchase a total of 116 of the aircraft to Israel's 55 with delivery through 2017.

More Christians killed by Obama's "rebels" - The final death toll is not yet in from a series of car bombs and suicide bombers who attacked the Christian neighborhoods of Damascus and the Christian town of Jaramana. The death toll as of late Thursday was 54, although rescue workers were still digging in the rubble. There has been no condemnation of the attacks on civilians by President Obama or anyone associated with the Administration. Senator John McCain who supports Barack Obama's Islamist "rebels" also refused to issue a condemnation of the murder of Christians in Syria. Read more
Obama supports Muslim oppression - Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood President Mohammed Morsi issued a degree forbidding courts to rule against virtually anything he does in what can only be described as assuming dictatorial powers. Although Christians and secularists are demonstrating in the streets of Cairo, the Obama Administration stands firmly with Morsi and has no criticism of his power grab. Meanwhile Morsi's organization, the Muslim Brotherhood continues call for jihad against Israel and the killing of Jews.

Grover Norquist and the Congress - Before I discuss Grover Norquist's tax pledge, I wish to describe the man: Grover has a full beard (like all observant Muslims) and is married to a Palestinian Muslim woman. Sometimes he claims to be a Christian. He was married to his Muslim wife by a Jewish rabbi in violation of the Torah. He has two adopted daughters who were given both Christian and Muslim names. Politically he is driven by the Libertarian concept of the worship of money. He holds social Darwinist Ayn Rand in the highest of esteem. It was Grover Norquist who brought Muslims into the highest levels of the Bush White House and continues to support members of the Muslim Brotherhood in establishing "good will." He is of course a fighter against "Islamaphobia," and he stated that Islam "is completely consistent with the U.S. Constitution and a free and open society." Norguist also brought a homosexual PAC in as a sponosr of the Conservative Political Action Conference causing many social conservative groups to leave. Yes, this is the nut case that the entire Republican establishment has taken orders from for the last twenty years.
The "tax pledge" is not what most Americans think it is. It is, and always has been, a tool to keep tax loopholes for giant corporations -- the kind of loopholes that allowed General Electric to earn billions in profits and pay no taxes at all. (The small business guy can't afford a full time team of high priced tax lawyers, so too bad for him.) According to Grover Norquist, closing tax loopholes or ending any taxpayer subsidies to industries is a tax increase. The "tax pledge" is and has always been a "screw the small tax payer and small businessman pledge" to keep taxes low for big industries and special interest groups.
Some Republicans now want to LOWER the tax rates for all of us and close the loopholes and stop the subsidy payments to various industries. According to Grover Norguist and Fox News commentators such as Shawn Hannity, that is a tax increase. Even a flat tax is a "tax increase" because while most would pay less, some would pay more. According to Norquist if 99% of workers have their taxes lowered but just 1% have to pay more because of closed loopholes, it is a tax increase and any congressman or Senator who votes for a plan like it is in "violation" of the Norguist tax pledge. Advice to the GOP: Hide this guy in a closet and fix the broken tax code. The tax code Norquist is protecting is now estimated to be as much as 75,000 pages. The core law, without regulations, is twice the length of the Bible. We need to dump this monster tax code, not protect it, and we need to institute a simple tax structure. What we have now is a system in which two individuals can earn the same amount of money, but one pays nothing in tax and the other hands over one-third to the government. That has to stop.
Religion and Culture Islam film maker unrepentant - The Egyptian-born Coptic Christian who made the anti-Islam film that sparked protests across the Muslim world says he has no regrets. In a New York Times interview, Mark Basseley Youssef said he wanted to reveal "the actual truth" about Mohammad and raise awareness of the violence committed "under the sign of Allah." Read more
Carnival's gay drag queen cruise - Gerry Cahill, Carnival's CEO, said in a letter that was posted on the cruise line's Facebook page that "anyone who wishes to dress in drag may do so." He has now changed his mind about the gay themed cruise because many families who are not queer will be on the same ship. Cahill is offering a refund to any queer who is offended by not being allowed to dress in drag. I am curious as to what Cahill would do if a Muslim "themed" group was also on board.Read more

Eight, including Americans, to die for free speech? - The headlines have say that several Coptic Christians living in the USA have been sentenced to death for blasphemy by an Egyptian court for being associated with the Innocence of Muslim film. Actually, some of those are American citizens, including pastor Terry Jones in Florida. The White House has not condemned the outrage against free speech and neither has any member of Congress on either side of the aisle. Read more.
Syria: Suicide bombers supported by Barack Obama in Syria have killed dozens of civilians Christians this week. Read more in Presidency section.
Syria: Syria has presented the UN Security Council a list of 143 foreign citizens killed in Syria fighting government troops. The Syrian government reportedly presented proof that citizens of 19 different nations had fought jihad against Syria.
Nigeria: On November 22nd 18 Christians were killed in an attack by Muslims in Maiduguri.
Nigeria:On November 23rd a church was burned and four Christians killed by Muslims on a rumor of Blasphemy of Mohammed.
Nigeria: On November 25th St. Andrew Military Protestant Church was hit with suicide bombers who killed 15 in Jaji. All deaths are in the name of the "religion of peace."

Obama sponsored riots come to peaceful Jordan - The reelection of Barack Hussein Obama has made jihadists around the world confident they can overthrow even more "moderate" governments. The Muslim Brotherhood has now sponsored riots in Jordan allegedly because the government dropped fuel subsidies. This is the same benefit drop that allegedly caused the riots in Egypt that brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power there. A second Obama term is a green light for Islamic aggression. (See International for attacks on Israel.)
The Obama-Morsi love affair - Barack Hussein Obama loves the Muslim Brotherhood and his favorite of the bunch is Mohammed Morsi, the president of Egypt. "Moderate" Morsi just ordered the Egyptian ambassador out of Israel. Morsi is angry that the Israelis fired back at the Gaza Strip after over 150 rockets hit Israel. It is Morsi's position, and probably that of Obama, that Israel should absorb the attacks without retaliation. NOTE: As of Thursday Israel had been hit by over 850 rockets in 2012.
Romney finally gets it? - During a call with large donors to his campaign Mitt Romney said that he lost the election because Obama had bought off so many different groups with "gifts." The loss was due to far more than "gifts." Romney lost trying to sell tax cuts to a dependency driven society in which half of the households pay no income taxes at all. Why are Benghazi hearings secret? - Both the House and Senate held closed hearings today on the continuing and broadening Benghazi situation ... Why is it secret? Congressmen will ask the State Department why a group of known jihadists who had fought against the United States in Iraq were guarding the consulate in Benghazi. The February 17th Martyrs Brigade was formed in memory of those killed attacking the Italian Consulate in Benghazi on February 17th, 2006. At the time, Libyan strong man Gadafi was an ally of the West and defended the Italian consulate. In doing so he killed 13 "martyrs." The attack on the Italian consulate was a protest against an Italian minister who was DEFENDING FREE SPEECH." The February 17th Martyrs Brigade went on to fight against American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the organization Hillary Clinton hired to defend the American Consulate in Benghazi! Now you know why the hearings are secret. I could disclose more, but I don't want a visit from the FBI.
Congress in, then out - Congress was in this past week for hearings but for no votes of any consequence. The House will adjourn to district work next week because of Thanksgiving and return to the Capitol on November 27th. No vote on the "fiscal cliff" can possibly be made prior to December.

Time to give up, says Focus on Family leader - Several years ago Jim Daly organized a coup against Focus on the Family founder Jame Dobson. He convinced the Board of Directors that Dobson was too political, and that to make the organization grow it needed to drop politics. Since Daly's take over, the organization has declined radically. His new solution is to toss in the white flag on same-sex marriage because he says, "demographics are against us." The real solution for conservative Christians is to oust those like Daly who want to follow the world instead of the Lord. Read more.
Higher unemployment and higher costs - On Thursday the government reported initial weekly jobless claims surged by 78,000 last week to 439,000. That marked the highest level since April 2011. In the closing weeks of the election the Obama Administration reported jobless claims dropping.

Obama reelected, Israel attacked - What a coincidence! Barack Hussein Obama is elected and immediately hundreds of rockets pour down into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile the jihadist rebels supported by Barack Obama in Syria take over the villages around the Golan Heights and Hezbollah moves heavy weapons to Israel's northern border. Seventy percent of Jews voted for Obama, but eighty-five percent of Muslims also voted for him. Which group will he stand with? Syrian Christians Murdered - In October a video appeared on the Internet showing Syrian "rebels" murdering a dozen unarmed men. The news media reported the video as showing Syrian Army soldiers who had been captured being executed without trial. Somehow no one in the media noticed that none of these men were wearing military uniforms or military style boots. Most of the men were also clean shaven, indicating that they were probably not Muslims. In reality the men had been kidnapped from a Christian neighborhood the "rebels" had invaded in a town west of Aleppo. Some of the men in the video were recognized by workers in Syria who have assisted us in distributing aid to Christians. These men were murdered by the "rebels" simply because they were Christians. Others were murdered in Saraqeb south of Aleppo.
Last Christian in Homs killed - The last Christian to remain in Homs, Syria was murdered this past week. 84-year-old Elias Mansour, a Greek-Orthodox Christian did not want to leave his home on Wadi Sayeh street - even though he knew his life was in danger - to care for a handicapped son. Mansour reportedly said that nothing would induce him to leave his home, adding that, if he met the rebels, "He would remind them about the Ten Commandments and the Holy Scriptures." There were 80,000 Christians in Homs when the Islamists began the uprising against the secular government there and ran them out.

The Presidency
Obama sponsored riots come to peaceful Jordan - The reelection of Barack Hussein Obama has made jihadists around the world confident they can overthrow even more "moderate" governments. The Muslim Brotherhood has now sponsored riots in Jordan allegedly because the government dropped fuel subsidies. This is the same benefit drop that allegedly caused the riots in Egypt that brought the Muslim Brotherhood to power there. A second Obama term is a green light for Islamic aggression. (See International for attacks on Israel.)
The Obama-Morsi love affair - Barack Hussein Obama loves the Muslim Brotherhood and his favorite of the bunch is Mohammed Morsi, the president of Egypt. "Moderate" Morsi just ordered the Egyptian ambassador out of Israel. Morsi is angry that the Israelis fired back at the Gaza Strip after over 150 rockets hit Israel. It is Morsi's position, and probably that of Obama, that Israel should absorb the attacks without retaliation. NOTE: As of Thursday Israel had been hit by over 850 rockets in 2012.
Romney finally gets it? - During a call with large donors to his campaign Mitt Romney said that he lost the election because Obama had bought off so many different groups with "gifts." The loss was due to far more than "gifts." Romney lost trying to sell tax cuts to a dependency driven society in which half of the households pay no income taxes at all. Why are Benghazi hearings secret? - Both the House and Senate held closed hearings today on the continuing and broadening Benghazi situation ... Why is it secret? Congressmen will ask the State Department why a group of known jihadists who had fought against the United States in Iraq were guarding the consulate in Benghazi. The February 17th Martyrs Brigade was formed in memory of those killed attacking the Italian Consulate in Benghazi on February 17th, 2006. At the time, Libyan strong man Gadafi was an ally of the West and defended the Italian consulate. In doing so he killed 13 "martyrs." The attack on the Italian consulate was a protest against an Italian minister who was DEFENDING FREE SPEECH." The February 17th Martyrs Brigade went on to fight against American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the organization Hillary Clinton hired to defend the American Consulate in Benghazi! Now you know why the hearings are secret. I could disclose more, but I don't want a visit from the FBI.
Congress in, then out - Congress was in this past week for hearings but for no votes of any consequence. The House will adjourn to district work next week because of Thanksgiving and return to the Capitol on November 27th. No vote on the "fiscal cliff" can possibly be made prior to December.
Religion and Culture
Time to give up, says Focus on Family leader - Several years ago Jim Daly organized a coup against Focus on the Family founder Jame Dobson. He convinced the Board of Directors that Dobson was too political, and that to make the organization grow it needed to drop politics. Since Daly's take over, the organization has declined radically. His new solution is to toss in the white flag on same-sex marriage because he says, "demographics are against us." The real solution for conservative Christians is to oust those like Daly who want to follow the world instead of the Lord. Read more.
Higher unemployment and higher costs - On Thursday the government reported initial weekly jobless claims surged by 78,000 last week to 439,000. That marked the highest level since April 2011. In the closing weeks of the election the Obama Administration reported jobless claims dropping.
International
Obama reelected, Israel attacked - What a coincidence! Barack Hussein Obama is elected and immediately hundreds of rockets pour down into Israel from the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile the jihadist rebels supported by Barack Obama in Syria take over the villages around the Golan Heights and Hezbollah moves heavy weapons to Israel's northern border. Seventy percent of Jews voted for Obama, but eighty-five percent of Muslims also voted for him. Which group will he stand with? Obama thanks Libya after ambassador murdered - Ambassador Christopher Stevens was kidnapped, raped and murdered by Muslims in Libya on the eleventh anniversary of the jihad attack at Ground Zero. Within 24 hours of the attacks on American diplomats in Libya, President Barack Hussein Obama called Libyan President Mohamed Yusuf al-Magariaf to thank him for his support. He then called the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt and told him that he "rejects efforts to denigrate Islam." This is in line with the Obama Administration's work with the Organization of Islamic States in the United Nations to enforce blasphemy laws worldwide.
Obama encourages Islamic violence - In my latest op-ed at WND.COM, I examine the root cause of the attacks on our embassies and the murder of Ambassador Stevens. The constant apologizing for American greatness and American freedom is a trademark of Barack Obama. Obama / Clinton double standards - The Obama Administration has been working with the OIC to find acceptable ways to stifle speech offensive to Muslims, without going so far as outright censorship of Americans' speech - at least not yet. Indeed, Secretary Clinton assured her OIC partners that she was perfectly on board with using "some old-fashioned techniques of peer pressure and shaming, so that people don't feel that they have the support to do what we abhor." Among the speakers were some congressmen my political action committee helped to elect including Michele Bachmann, Tim Huelskamp, Steve King, Jim Jordan and Majority Leader Eric Cantor plus GING-PAC supported Senator DeMint.
