Washington Report- August 16th, 2013
In this issue: Obama's gay hypocrisy / Obama praises Islam / Obama's dog gets own helicopter / Social conservative wins NJ primary / McCain and Graham anger secular Egyptians / Huckabee on the mayhem of Islam / Muslim Brotherhood fights for sharia in Egypt / Fatwa in Syria allows looting / No justice yet for Pakistani pastor / Christians attacked in Central African Republic
The Presidency
Obama's gay hypocrisy - Barack Hussein Obama and the U.S. State Department have been crusading on behalf of the "gay" rights movement around the world. Yet, both Obama and State have been careful to avoid calling on powerful oil rich Muslim nations to reform their laws in order to embrace open homosexuality in their cultures. The Obama gay refrain is: "Russia bad, Saudi Arabia good." Read more
Obama on Islam - "Throughout our history, Islam has contributed to the character of our country, and Muslim Americans, and their good works, have helped to build our nation - and we've seen the results." Sure Obama - the results of 9-11 and Ft. Hood. A former Boko Haram terrorist who became a Christian has a different view, Mr. President. Read more
Obama's dog gets own helicopter - While Obama constantly complains about the evil Republicans and has described the "sequester" as an event that will shut down Air Traffic Controllers and police forces across the nation, he just had his dog "Bo" flown by an MV-22 Osprey helicopter to Martha's Vineyard. It costs $11,000 an hour to fly an Osprey. The Osprey is a $68 million military aircraft! Read more
Congress
Social conservative RNC win in NJ - A pro-life Republican who believes that marriage is reserved for one man and one woman won the GOP Senate primary in NJ this week. Steve Lonegan, former Mayor of Bogota, New Jersey will run against Newark Mayor Cory Booker in the general election on October 16th. Booker is an Obama supporter who will work to expand the welfare state if elected. He is also a close friend of Gov. Chris Christie whose party identification is hard to tell at any given moment. Read more
McCain, Graham and the Muslim Brotherhood - Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) recently made it clear that they are BFF's (best friends forever) with the Muslim Brotherhood and enemies of political freedom in Egypt. In their recent trip to Egypt, McCain and Graham angered millions of Egyptians who had fought to oust Muslim Brotherhood tyrant Mohamed Morsi from power. Read more
Congress in recess - The House will return on September 9th as per the schedule posted at the beginning of the year by Leader Cantor. Because Senate Leader Harry Reid is nuts, there is no telling when the Senate will reconvene, or if they will do anything when they do reconvene.
Religion and Culture
Huckabee on the mayhem of Islam - Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee explored the violent side of Islam on Monday during his radio talk show. He then compared Islam to other religions such as Christianity and said that during Christian holy days such as Easter and Christmas Day, no one fears Christians going into Wal-Mart and trashing the store or going out and killing innocent children. Yet, that's what routinely occurs during Muslim "holy days" he said. Read more
Ad campaign against Saudi evil -The Religious Freedom Coalition's campaign to make Americans aware of the evil that emanates from Saudi Arabia is continuing, with ads recently placed in Alabama and Rhode Island. Lean more here.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood stands and fights for a pure sharia government - The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has been engaging in violent - not peaceful -- protests for the past few weeks, and more than 600 are now dead. The death toll will rise, as Muslim Brotherhood operatives have promised to destroy the interim government. Read more
Syria: Fatwa allows robbery - A fatwa (Islamic religious decree) has been issued by 34 "Duma Scholars" giving "rebels" the right in Duma and Damascus to loot properties of Christians, Alawites and Druz and other minorities. No complaints from Barack Obama who supports the Islamist fighters. Read more
Pakistan: Freedom to murder Christians - Christians in Pakistan's Punjab province were still awaiting justice Tuesday, August 13, more than two weeks after a local Christian leader and landowner was shot and killed by at least one Islamic gunman in front of his young children. Read more
Central African Republic: Muslims kill at least 15 - Attacks by Islamists on Christian villages in the Central African Republic have left at least 15 dead and made around 1,000 people homeless. The raids were carried out by an Islamist militia group, Séléka, which seized control of the country following a coup in March 2013. At least 14 villages in Bouar Diocese were completely abandoned after residents fled, Italian Carmelite missionary, Fr. Aurelio Gazzera, told Aid to the Church in Need. Read more

Report From Washington - March 15, 2013
In this issue: U.S. supports jihadists now? / Obama wants to remove "right to life" from UN declaration /White House silent on Saudi persecution of Christians / No tax dollars for jihadists / Senator may help Christians in Saudi Arabia / Using the Fax Congress system / New Pope should defend religious liberty / France: Frenchmen fight on both sides / UK Muslim MP blames Jews for his 16 day stay in jail for killing man / Australia: Wilders warns of Islam / Bangladesh: Hindus meet same fate as Christians / Join me in fact finding trip to Israel.
The Presidency
U. S. supports jihadists now? - Less than 12 years after the devastating jihad attack on 9-11 that left thousands dead and our nation in shock, the Obama Administration is openly supporting radical Islamists in overthrowing secular governments in the Middle East. As I pointed out in my current WND.COM column Obama was not, unfortunately, the first president to support jihadists. Still, the post 9-11 support of Islamists should at least cause some in the media to a least ask questions, but that has not happened.
Obama wants removal of "right to life" from UN declaration - It is disturbing to learn that the U.S. delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women is calling for deleting a reaffirmation that every human being has the "inherent right to life, liberty and security of persons." This contradicts a foundational principle of citizens and civilizations worldwide. As chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition I signed a group letter letter to Secretary of State Kerry demanding that this outrageous position be changed.
The White House and Saudi persecution of Christians - In the last two weeks I have written a column for WND.COM and appeared on radio shows including Mike Huckabee's national show to expose the persecution of African Christians who are guest workers in Saudi Arabia. I have posted stories on Facebook that have had thousands of visits. I placed an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against the Saudi persecution of Christians. That petition can be faxed for free to your congressman if you will sign it. The net result of my two weeks of work is 14 people who have contacted their congressman. I am flat out ashamed at the response and embarrassed to actually show up at a congressman's office claiming I have support from the American Christian community to stop the persecution and torture of Christians in Saudi Arabia. No wonder Barack Obama is so confident of his support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Saudi Arabia.
Congress
GOP Senator supports same-sex marriage now that son is "gay" - Senator Portman (R-OH) has given up his previously stated core beliefs and the position of his church to support same-sex marriage because he has a homosexual son. Homosexual sex is ultimately just as destructive as cocaine use. Would Portman suddenly call for the legalization of cocaine if his son had announced that he was a cocaine addict? Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihandists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing CIA help as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Provide your name and zip code, and a copy of the petition will be faxed to your congressman free of charge. See petition here.
Senator may help Christians in Saudi Arabia - This week I spoke to a Senator at length about the continued arrests and torture of guest workers in Saudi Arabia who are Christians. As of now only Congressman Fortenberry has spoken out in the House. A free fax petition is available to send to your congressman asking that he speak out against the abuse of Christians in Saudi Arabia. See petition here
Using the Fax Congress system - The new system we are using to fax congressmen works, its free and it really helps me when I call congressional offices. E-mail addresses are NOT collected unless a box is checked for this weekly update from the Hill. I encourage you to use this system. There is an additional charge to send a fax to Senators - but - the Religious Freedom Coalition gets half the fee to use for our work and it is only two bucks. Please use the system because it does work and it does help.

Mr. President." Read more

France: Frenchmen fighting on both sides - The French government and media heaped scorn and shame on Muslim French citizens who went to Mali to fight jihad while French troops were there. However, there seems to be no critical voice regarding the 80 or so Muslim Frenchmen fighting jihad in Syria to establish an Islamic state. Rather, the French government is arguing for the EU to supply arms to jihadist fighters in Syria. Read more
UK - Muslim MP blames Jews for his 16 days in jail for killing man - Baron Nazir Ahmed received a suspension from the Conservative party for offering $13 million to any one who would kill George W. Bush. Now he has received a 16 day jail sentence for killing a man while he was driving and texting on his phone. He claims that he only received the "harsh" sentence because of a "Jewish conspiracy." I wonder how long a Christian who was not an MP would serve in jail for the same killing? Read more

In this issue: Money for Muslim Brotherhood but not for White House tours for kids / State Department award to anti-Semite / The White House and Saudi persecution of Christians / House bill to protect religious liberty in ObamaCare / Senator slams Muslim Brotherhood / Senator grills Eric Holder on social issues / Leftist congressmen mourn dictator Chavez death / Coptic Christians fear US support of Muslim Brotherhood / Imam who says woman deserve rape tries to rape woman / Boko Haram attacks army garrison dung their "cease fire" / 209 schools destroyed by Boko Haram in one state / Blood runs in the streets of Bangladesh so your shirt from Kohl's can be 100% Muslim
The Presidency
Money for Muslim Brotherhood but none for White House tours - Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi has his own personal piggy bank for his totalitarian Islamist goals in the Middle East. Thanks to Secretary of State John Kerry and his boss, Barack Obama, Islamist Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood are being showered with $1 billion in aid from the U.S. We get to pay for the destruction of freedom in the Middle East, while kids are barred from the White House tours for "lack of funds." Read more
State Department award to anti-Semite - The Weekly Standard first reported that the First Lady and the Secretary of State would "honor" a woman who said it was "sweet news" when Israelis were killed in a bus bombing. The woman, Egyptian born Samira Ibrahim, has quoted Hitler on Twitts and frequently proclaims the 9-11 jihad attack on the United States as a great day for Islam. Decisions such as this explain why the State Department is referred to as "Foggy Bottom" here in Washington, DC. Read more

Congress
Senator grills Holder on social issues - Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) grilled Attorney General Eric Holder on his views about using armed drones to kill Americans on US soil, and on the Obama Administration's refusal to enforce laws that it does not like - rather than upholding all laws passed by Congress. Cruz noted that Holder's DOJ has refused to enforce voter intimidation laws against the New Black Panthers; has chosen not to defend the Defense of Marriage Act; and has chosen to ignore laws involving illegal immigration. Bill to protect religious freedom in ObamaCare - Congressmen Diane Black (R-TN), Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE), and John Fleming, M.D. (R-LA) held a press conference to announce the introduction of the Health Care Conscience Rights Act (HCCRA). This legislation would protect Americans' First Amendment rights and would stop the Obama Administration's assault on religious freedom. HCCRA offers a reprieve from ongoing violations of our First Amendment, including full exemption from the Obama Administration's Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate and conscience protection for individuals and health care entities that refuse to provide, pay for, or refer patients to abortion providers because of their deeply-held, reasoned beliefs. HCCRA has 50 original co-sponsors. Read more
Senator slams Muslim Brotherhood - Sen. John Cornyn (R.-TX) condemned Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood on Sunday evening for "trying to create a new Islamic dictatorship" in the Middle East. "The Muslim Brotherhood president in Egypt is trying to create a new Islamic dictatorship," Cornyn said during a speech before thousands of delegates at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee's 2013 policy conference. Egypt: Coptic Christians fear US support of Morsi - Thanks to Barack Hussein Obama, Coptic Christians in Egypt are being increasingly persecuted and marginalized under the Muslim Brotherhood regime of Mohamed Morsi. The attack happened on Sunday in Monguno village in Borno state. Meanwhile Governor Ibrahim Gaidem of Yobe State said that the Boko Haram has destroyed 209 schools in that state.
Bangladesh - Is that blood on your shirt? - Most of those Khol's shirts for men now come from Bangladesh. Check them for Christian and Hindu blood. Acts of violence, especially against Bangladesh's Hindu minority, and strikes (hartal) continue across the country as Jamaat-e-Islami supporters call for reunification with Pakistan, and the creation of a "pure" state, free of its non-Muslim population.Read more

PATRIOT'S BIBLE - USA Today and other newspapers this week featured a new Patriot's Bible published by Thomas Nelson. The new Bible uses Scriptures to shed light on the Christian nature of the founding of the United States. The Patriot's Bible is available at the Religious Freedom Coalition Bookstore. Please note: You can buy the Bible cheaper at Amazon if you don't mind doing business with a company that sells satanic and occult literature as well as pornography.
HUCK-PAC AND OBAMA - Governor Mike Huckabee founded a very active political action committee after he ended his run for president last year. This week he featured in the blog section my op-ed on President Barack Obama, who declared June as Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Pride Month. Read Op-ed here
WASHINGTON POST SELLS ACCESS TO WHITE HOUSE - Not much about the Obama White House surprises me any more, but when the Washington Post offered to sell access to high level White House officials for fees ranging from $25,000 to $250,000, I was surprised. The offer was in a flyer circulated to health care lobbyists this past Wednesday. One of the lobbyists was so embarrassed by the invitation to the home of the publisher of the Washington Post that he handed the flyer over to Politico.com. Think about the implications ... a national newspaper asking for money from lobbyists in return for private access to high level members of the Obama Administration. Read more (Update ... JOHN Q. ADAMS ON THE 4th OF JULY - From John Quincy Adams' oration on July 4th, 1837: "Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth? That it laid the corner stone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity, and gave to the world the first irrevocable pledge of the fulfillment of the prophecies, announced directly from Heaven at the birth of the Savior and predicted by the greatest of the Hebrew prophets six hundred years before?" Read full oration at Wallbuilders Very different from the remarks of the current president, who wants to be the "champion" of those who practice sodomy.
RANDY FORBES ON AMERICA'S FOUNDING - Congressman Randy Forbes, on the floor of the House, delivered an answer to Barack Obama's assertion that the United States was not a Judeo-Christian nation. Since Congressman Forbes first gave this five-minute speech, it has been viewed more than two million times on youtube. I urge you to view it this 4th of July and pass the link on to others to view as well. View video here

CHRISTIAN YOUTH CAMP IN JORDAN NEEDS WATER - There is a Christian camp for youth in Jordan, which is one of the few Middle Eastern nations that still has a sizable Christian population. I cannot name the camp here, or tell about its location. I can tell you that because of the nature of the geography of Jordan, water must be trucked in each day to the camp. Every week there is a new group of about 200 kids who come to the camp from various churches. During the course of the summer thousands of young people from kindergarten through high school will attend Vacation Bible School at the camp. This summer the water will cost $5,000 to purchase and truck into the camp. Last week we received about $1,000 from Internet donations, and that was immediately sent to the camp. All contributions received at our web site until July 10, 2009 will be used for the purpose of purchasing the water. Your help is genuinely needed. Please help. Donation link

McCain Palin ticket takes off / Evangelicals and blue collar Catholics move to GOP ticket! / William Murray's New Op-ed / Nancy Pelosi;s five kids / Joe Biden's son sued for fraud / Gov Sarah Palin attacked for supporting Israel / More on Iraqi Christians
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CHRISTIAN INTERNET STORE
THE PELOSI KIDS - San Francisco radical Nancy Pelosi is second in line for the presidency after VP Dick Cheney. As a result, her family, including her super wealthy husband and her five kids have Secret Service Protection. Do you know the names of her five kids and her husband? Have any of her kids had sex before marriage? Do you care? I don't. Although Pelosi is just two heart beats away from the presidency, there has been no public vetting of her family, yet the liberal media ravaged the family of Gov. Sarah Palin within hours of her being picked for the VP slot. This is a true double standard.
BIDEN'S SON- Speaking of presidential tickets, did you know that one of Joe Biden's sons has been sued for fraud over a hedge fund deal. A story did appear in the Washington Post, but was quickly forgotten. It appears that anything done by a child, spouse or brother of a liberal candidate is instantly dropped by the press. Another double standard.
DON'T FORGET IRAQI CHRISTIANS - Tens of thousands of Iraqi Christians are still refugees and still need our help. Donate today!

MCCAIN AND THE CONSERVATIVES - Shortly after obtaining enough delegates to claim the 2008 Republican nomination for the presidency, John McCain spoke at the luncheon for a premier conservative group, the Council on National Policy (CNP). I was there when he had 40 minutes to win over both economic and social conservatives who have huge differences with him on policy as defined by his voting record in the Senate and public pronouncements. The question of his relationship with the Deity was also addressed. Click here for my on-the-site personal report of his speech and the discussion that followed.
