The Presidency
Obama's Ramadan - At the beginning of Ramadan, President Barack Obama stated, "I wish Muslims across America and around the world a month blessed with the joys of family, peace and understanding. Ramadan Kareem." So far into the "holy" Muslim month of Ramadan, there have been 178 terror attacks including 18 suicide bombings. In these attacks 836 people died and 1646 have been wounded. Former VP Al Gore's gateway to Islamist propaganda - Al-Jazeera is supportive of both the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, as the article below describes. And with plenty of money, the organization is buying up a lot of talent, many with Irish and German sounding names, to disguise the fact that it is an outlet for radical Islam. "Liberal" Al Gore took tens of millions from Former Qatari emir Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and from the Qatari government in return for handing over his cable network. Read more

Congressman warns of new "global caliphate" - Speaking for almost an hour, Congressman Louie Gohmert (R-TX) warned that we are witnessing "the rise of a new Ottoman Empire in the Middle East, which, unfortunately, the Obama Administration has helped jump-start." Read more
Congressman: Religious freedom becoming a "second tier" right- Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA) believes that religious freedom is becoming a "second tier" right in the United States. He stated, "When the government says, 'You can believe whatever you want, but you will be penalized if you exercise those beliefs,' we have entered dangerous territory." Read more
Congressman says no funds for atheist "chaplain" - Congressman John Fleming (R-LA) is working to create an amendment to the defense budget bill that will prevent any atheist or humanist chaplains in the military. According to Fleming: "When it comes to the idea of an atheist chaplain, which is an oxymoron - it's self-contradictory - what you're really doing is now saying that we're going to replace true chaplains with non-chaplain chaplains.Read more
No tax dollars for jihadists - The Religious Freedom Coalition has begun an online petition asking congressmen to speak out against any funding, military or otherwise, to jihadists anywhere in the world. The petition comes at a time the Obama Administration is furnishing help from the CIA, as well as cash and "humanitarian" aid, to jihadists fighting the secular government of Syria. Immigrant wins battle to keep Jesus statue up - Tuan Pham, a Vietnamese refugee who moved to the United States in 1980, has won a legal victory against the city of St. Paul, Minnesota over a statue of Jesus he had erected on his property. The city of St. Paul had ordered him to take it down. Read more
Air Force Chaplain under attack - The atheist group in the military called "Religious Freedom Foundation," which is headed by Mikey Weinstein, is once again in the news. This time, Weinstein is seeking punishment for Lt. Col. Kenneth Reyes, a Christian chaplain based in Alaska. What's Reyes' crime? He wrote a "Chaplain's Corner" column that was titled: "No Atheists In Foxholes: Chaplains Gave All In World War II." Read more

Syria: Congressman speaks out against arming "rebels" - Rep. Jeff Fortenberry (R-NE) is speaking out against the shipment of arms to Obama's so-called Syrian "rebels," who are actually Islamic terrorist killers who recently attacked a convoy of Christians in Aleppo. Read more
Syria: Obama "rebels" attack convoy of unarmed Christians - The Obama/McCain backed Syrian terrorists this week attacked a convoy of trucks and buses in northern Syria. The convoy was a group of Syrian-Armenian Christians civilians who travel together for safety. Read more
Yemen : Young girl flees forced Muslim marriage - Nada Al-Ahdal, an 11-year-old Yemeni girl, recently fled her parents' home in order to avoid being married off against her will. Recounting her story in an impromptu video recorded in a car, she said that she would rather die than enter a marriage at her age. Read more
India: Hindus join Muslims in persecuting Christians - India's Madhya Pradesh state has passed legislation that would send those who convert to Christianity, along with their religious leaders, to prison for failing to obtain permission from authorities at least one month prior to conversion. The Presidency
Obama: Protect children from guns and abort more babies - What a contradiction: Obama on the platform with four children telling the nation that kids need protection from guns, and using the massacre at Newtown, CT as an example. During the Obama Administration, the amount of money going to the abortion industry has reached new heights, with Planned Parenthood receiving 45% of their budget from the government. In the last three years Planned Parenthood has murdered about 1,000,000 babies.
U.S. needs U.N. permission but French don't? - The French government has begun bombing Islamists in Mali and has dispatched 2,500 troops so far. Rather than tell the French to get United Nations "approval," Obama has congratulated their move. This is the same Barack Obama who as Senator insisted that the United States receive UN permission for any military operations. The Al-Qaeda forces have been well armed by our Libyan "allies." The truth is the Arab Spring supported by Obama has created several failed states in North Africa that are now used by Islamists to attack "infidels." Weapons sales and give-a-ways to these nations need to stop now.
Congress
Does Nancy Pelosi run the House? - Since the 113th Congress was sworn in, the two most important votes were controlled not by Speaker Boehner but by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. In the first major showdown on taxes and spending, the Speaker was unable to get enough Republican votes to pass his compromise bill that including raising taxes on those making over one million dollars a year. Nancy Pelosi took over and with the help of a few GOP members passed Harry Reid's Senate bill. Next, the Speaker rejected the pork laden Senate bill for aid to the victims of Hurricane Sandy and offered a bill that did not send money to Alaska, Illinois and other states. GOP Tea Party Members still refused to vote for the bill as too costly. Again, Nancy Pelosi took control of the vote and managed to pass the much more expensive bill from Harry Reid's Senate. With a divided caucus, Speaker Boehner has grown silent as he has no bargaining chips to deal with Obama, without the support of his Members.
Pelosi appoints "Arab-American" to chief - Nancy Pelosi's office announced that her long-time chief of staff John Lawrence will retire and that his replacement will be Arab-American Nadeam Elshami who has served as her spokesman for years. Elshami, who has been a key advisor to Pelosi, was paid $172,500 by her last year. His mother, Zainab Elberry, is an activist for the Arab American Institute and worked to defend the construction of the mega mosque in Nashville.
Senator Cruz on Obama's use of human shields - Newly-elected Texas Senator Ted Cruz was on the Laura Ingraham show this week to express his outrage over Obama's shameless exploitation of children for his gun grabbing Executive Orders. Cruz told Ingraham that Obama was "exploiting the murder of children" and was "high on his own power" to push his anti-gun agenda. Read more

More taxpayer money, more abortions - Planned Parenthood reported receiving record taxpayer funding in the last reporting year, while also performing a record number of abortions. This was according to its new annual report released this week. The nation's largest abortion provider maintained its infamous title, performing 333,964 abortions --- a record for the organization, which received 45 percent of its revenues from taxpayer-funded government sources. Rupert Murdoch worse than Al Gore? - Fox News headliners have broadly attacked Al Gore for selling his TV network to Al-Jazeera, but their boss, CEO Rupert Murdoch, co-owns Al-Risala, an Arabic language network which is a full-throated supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood. This is because Murdoch owns an 18.97% stake in Saudi Prince Bin Talal's Rotana Media group. Al-Risala, the flagship "religious broadcasting" television network of Rotana, is an odious mouthpiece for Sharia supremacists, anti-Western radicals, and general xenophobia, and regularly spews forth hatred of Jews and other "infidels." Religious Freedom Day - January 16th was Religious Freedom Day in America, commemorating the anniversary of the Virginia Statute for Establishing Religious Freedom, which passed on January 16, 1786. In the Act, Thomas Jefferson wrote in part, "Be it enacted by the General Assembly, that no man - shall otherwise suffer on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinion in matters of religion -" Read more

UK politician arrested for statement on Islam - Kevin Carroll, the Chairman of the British Freedom Party, was arrested in the UK for making a comment on Facebook. One might wonder what this dangerous comment was --- perhaps calling for killing someone, or inciting rebellion against Queen and country? Well, actually, no. It wasn't anything like that. Speaking of Islam, this is what Kevin Carroll said: "They are all backward savages, a devil-spawned death-cult worshiping all that is unholy and barbaric. Pure evil." Read more
UK: Muslim Vigilantes in London - Muslim vigilantes are approaching Brits and demanding they behave in an Islamic way - in the middle of London. The hooded men, who call themselves Muslim Patrol, have apparently filmed themselves loitering around English streets and intimidating people. See video 
Algeria: Islamist attack on Algeria - For several days the attack on a giant BP natural gas plant in Algeria has been on the front pages because hostages taken included Americans, British, French, Dutch and Japanese. After an attempted rescue in which 18 of the Islamists were killed, the Algerian government issued a report that they identified the dead men as being from Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Mali and Algeria. Of course the United States is trying to say the continuing broad war against civilization by Islamists is caused by local issues including poverty.

THE ADMINISTRATION TAKES ON "ISLAMOPHOBIA" - An unprecedented collaboration between the Obama administration and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC, formerly called the Organization of the Islamic Conference) to combat "Islamophobia" may soon result in the delegitimization of freedom of expression as a human right. OBAMA'S BLIND SPOT - When Libya's Moammar Gadhafi tried to put down an uprising of Muslim extremists, President Barack Obama rushed in to bomb the presidential palace in Tripoli. In Egypt, the Obama Administration made it clear to President Mubarak that he must leave power or see the wrath of the United States after he ordered the killing of some Muslim Brotherhood demonstrators. Yet, every single day, Christians are arrested, tortured and killed by Muslim extremist governments and Obama says nothing. Currently the Administration is working to overthrow the last secular nation in the Middle East -- Syria, the only nation in which Christians can still safely live. President Obama continues to ignore the real story in Iran, which is not the nukes, but the persecution of Christians. Read the rest

JOBS, JOBS, JOBS FOR SAUDI ARABIA- The very day President Obama announced he would speak to the nation on job creation, his Administration announced regulations that would kill jobs and increase dependence on Islamic nations for energy. As a result of the regulations coal mines will close, older oil refineries will close, and an additional $7 billion a year will be spent by businesses on more regulation. Corporations must recover the money someplace, and that means fewer jobs, Meanwhile the Administration has shut down "until further notice" the North Anna Nuclear Power Plant in Virginia, which was not damaged during the earthquake in August. It will probably never reopen, causing even more oil to be imported.

THE CONGRESS 

SENATOR LIEBERMAN: OBAMA TOO CONCERNED WITH OFFENDING MUSLIMS - "The administration still refuses to call our enemy in this war by its proper name: violent Islamist extremism," Lieberman said, speaking at a National Press Club event hosted by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START). "To call our enemy 'violent extremism' is so general and vague that it ultimately has no meaning. The other term used sometimes is Al Qaeda and its allies. Now that's better but it is still too narrow and focuses us on groups as opposed to what I would call an ideology, which is what we're really fighting." Read the rest

CLAYTON, MO (KMOX) - Taking heat from Muslim groups upset with a coloring book about the 9/11 attacks, a publisher says he's been in contact with local police and the FBI. Wayne Bell, the publisher of Really Big Coloring Books, Inc., says there's been a negative backlash against the book "We Shall Never Forget 9/11: The Kids' Book of Freedom." "These are people from Al-Jazeera that have called in here numerous times, people from Iranian TV, people from Palestinian Hamas TV," Bell said, "A lot of people from the Islamic community have called in here and said increasingly negative things prior to the book being made and then after we made the book too, about the book itself." GAFFNEY WARNS ON MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD - Former Undersecretary of Defense, Frank Gaffney said, "In recent weeks, we have been put on notice repeatedly: Absent a fundamental course correction, America will go the way of Europe and others before it, succumbing to an insidious totalitarian doctrine known as Shariah whose purpose, in the words of its prime practitioners - the Muslim Brotherhood - is to "destroy Western civilization from within." NLRB: CHURCH SCHOOL NOT RELIGIOUS ENOUGH - St. Xavier University was founded in 1846, and is the oldest Catholic school in Illinois. Its corporate member is a Catholic body with the "powers for the governance of" St. Xavier, that "links the University to the [Catholic] Church and makes it an officially recognized member of the Church." St. Xavier's Board of Trustees must have at least four nuns from the order that founded the school, and, according to its bylaws, its governing body must "ensure [St. Xavier] continues its educational and religious mission." After quoting these sources and many others, the NLRB's regional director concluded in true Orwellian fashion that "the evidence establishes" that St. Xavier is "a secular educational institution or university." FINAL RAMADAN BODY COUNT - As of the 26th day of Ramadan, there have been 180 Islamic terror attacks, with a total of 785 killed and hundreds more wounded. Islamic assassinations, mass murders and riots often peak during the "holy" month of Ramadan as imams poison the minds of men virtually every day rather than just on Fridays. The site has links to stories from all over the world, about Islamic terror attacks that are not reported in the United States.  
CHRISTIAN CONVERTS FLEE ASYLUM CENTER - At the center for asylum seekers in Jaern, Norway, where a Christian convert last week was attacked with boiling water, four other Christians have fled the center because of threats. Muslims at the asylum center told Christians, "This is Jihad, holy war, and we are waiting for at fatwa (license to kill) from the local imam at the mosque in Sandnes." One young man going by the name of "Arsland" told the newspaper Dagen, "I had to escape and flee the asylum reception center in fear for my life. "Arsland" is from Afghanistan and had converted to Christianity. Read more

PRESIDENCY 

OBAMA WAVERS ON SYRIA - President Barack Obama was frozen for the first several weeks of the turmoil in Egypt and seemed to be supportive of lifelong President Mubarak. As the Muslim Brotherhood declared itself in favor of "change" in Egypt, Obama switched sides. During weeks of turmoil in Syria, once again the Obama Administration seemed to support the current regime and even planned financial aid for the Syrian government. Today the Muslim Brotherhood, outlawed in Syria by the secular government, openly encouraged the protests in Syria. The Brotherhood was crushed by current President Assad's father, Hafez, after an Islamic uprising 1982. My prediction: by Monday President Obama will turn on the secular government of Syria and support the Muslim Brotherhood. Will Assad then turn to Iran? Photo: Assad with Ahmadinejad

OBAMA AND INDIA - India is now on the fast track to buy 126 modern jet fighters worth $10 billion from Europe rather than the United States, and oddly the Obama Administration cannot figure out why. The centuries old Islamic Jihad against India has killed an estimated 80 million Hindus. The United States continues to be allied with Pakistan, the main perpetrator of violence against India. Every year the U.S. gives Pakistan some $3 billion a year in military aid. This American aid to the regular armed forces of Pakistan has allowed that nation to fund the doubling of its nuclear arsenal, all of which is aimed at India. if we want India's business, maybe we should stop funding their radical Muslim enemies to the north.
JUST PRINT MORE MONEY - Just a few days ago the Administration was bragging about how great Obama's spending splurge has been for the economy; then yesterday the real figures came in. The rate of economic growth declined the first quarter to just 1.8% and the weekly first time jobless claims rose for the second time in three weeks. What is going wrong? The powers in Washington temporarily stopped printing funny money. To "revive" the economy without allowing energy exploration, once again the printing presses will have to roll.

THE CONGRESS 

FOREIGN AFFAIRS CHAIRMAN CONDEMNS HAMAS-FATAH DEAL- U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, commented on reports that Abu Mazen's Fatah faction and Hamas, a Foreign Terrorist Organization, have agreed to form a joint Palestinian Authority (PA) government. Statement by Ros-Lehtinen: "The reported agreement between Fatah and Hamas means that a Foreign Terrorist Organization which has called for the destruction of Israel will be part of the Palestinian Authority government. U.S. taxpayer funds should not and must not be used to support those who threaten U.S. security, our interests, and our vital ally, Israel. Complete statement

FARRAKHAN WANTS GZ MOSQUE, BLAMES CONSERVATIVES FOR 911 - Louis Farrakhan incites huge crowds with rants against white America and Israel. Now he is inflaming Arabs against America. On Al-Jazeera TV he claimed Muslims in America are in danger of being rounded up and forced into concentration camps and that the 9-11 Jihad attack was a plot by the "neo-cons who surrounded George W. EASTER ATTACK IN IRAQ - More than seven people were injured in a bombing at the entrance of the Sacred Heart Church in Baghdad's Karradah neighborhood on Easter Sunday. The church is surrounded by blast walls to protect it as are most churches in Iraq. "Our churches have become like prisons," says Monsignor Pious Casha, "The barbed wire and concrete are new. Yes they protect the churches, but they make the worshippers spiritually constrained." As a result of the extreme security, deaths were averted this Easter. Read more  
CHURCH SUPPORTS SYRIA'S ASSAD - The Muslim Brotherhood wants to see President Assad of Syria fall and their kind of "freedom" brought forth, but the church in Syria that represents 10% or more of the population does not. "We are with the government and against these movements that oppose it," said Bishop Philoxenos Mattias, a spokesman for the Syriac Orthodox Church this month. "Here in Syria we do not have problems like Christians in other countries. We have no problem with the president." The experience of neighboring Iraq is a salutary lesson for Christians across the Middle East. Read more
MUSLIMS KILL HUNDREDS IN NIGERIA - A Christian, Goodluck Jonathan, won the election for President in Nigeria this month. The Muslims of northern Nigeria have already killed 500 innocent people to protest his victory. Every other term, a Muslim must be elected according to the constitution. The Muslim president died last year after serving only three of his four your years and as a result the Muslims believe they should get another four years. I do not expect Europe or the United States to honor the election but rather to try to force a Muslim president on Nigeria as they did in the Ivory Coast. I expect many Christian refugees coming out of the Ivory Coast and now out of the north of Nigeria. Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in these two nations.
