January 21, 2011 - Washington, DC

Worshiping Moloch and abortion are one and the same / Human Rights activist asks Obama, "Which girl should die" / What did ObamaCare repeal really do? / No Tax money for abortions / Fed Judge OK'S Sharia Law / Sharia judge for NJ / Telling the truth on the radio / The GZ mosque's new imam / Muslims tell Pope that killing Christians is their "internal affair"

WORSHIPING MOLOCH, HUMAN SACRIFICE - January 24th is the anniversary of the legalization of murder of the unborn in the United States. Children are killed for the convenience and prosperity of the parents ... Just as children were sacrificed to Moloch during biblical times. Read William J. Murray's article which now appears at World Net Daily and other sites.

NEW JANUARY 12th CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - Issues highlights: Media ignores Ground Zero community center under construction. Terrorists are just folks, too. Obama finds Muslim victims where they don't exist. Oath on oldest American Bible. Court says war memorial cross must go. Elton John, "married" to another man, becomes a daddy. CPAC goes gay-er. The real war on Christmas.

PRESIDENCY

Female Marine goes PC in Afghanistan WHICH GIRL WOULD DIE, MR. PRESIDENT? - As the anniversary of Roe V Wade approaches and President Hu of China dines at the White House, a Chinese human rights advocate addressed President Obama on the issue of forced abortion. "Just imagine, just imagine, among your two beautiful children, all you are allowed to have is one; the other one has to be put to death," said Chai Ling. Ling's remarks were made as she detailed the chilling statistics of forced abortion and the sterilization policy in China. "As we gather here in Washington, over 35,000 forced and coerced abortions are taking place today in China; every 2.5 seconds a precious baby's life is taken; among every six baby girls, one will never be born simply because she is a girl." Did the president hear her call, or was he too busy selling American debt to China? Read more

THE CONGRESS
WHAT DID REPEAL VOTE DO? - All House Republicans plus three Democrats voted this week to repeal ObamaCare, but the legislation cannot pass the Democrat controlled Senate. Was the vote just symbolic? No, according to Congresswoman Michele Bachmann who stated that the vote sent a message to the people that Republicans are keeping their promise and that more work can and will be done. "We are making this our priority issue," the Minnesota Republican said.
NO TAXPAYER FUNDING FOR ABORTION ACT - This week HR-3 barring taxpayer funding of abortions was filed by Speaker of the House John Boehner and other pro-life congressmen including Chris Smith (R-NJ). In introducing the bill Speaker Boehner said, "A ban on taxpayer funding of abortion is the will of the people and ought to be the law of the land. But current law - particularly as enforced by this Administration - does not reflect the will of the people." The bill is expected to pass the House but meet fierce opposition from a very pro-abortion Senate leadership

CULTURE AND RELIGION
FEDERAL JUDGE OK'S SHARIA LAW - The Thomas Moore Society filed a lawsuit to block AIG, which is owned by taxpayers, from using funds obtained from a federal bailout to promote sharia (Islamic) law. Michigan Federal District Court Judge Lawrence P. Zatkoff, dismissed the challenge, thus allowing AIG to continue using their U.S. government bailout money in support of Islamic indoctrination using sharia compliant financing. The Thomas Moore Society will appeal the ruling.
IN NEW JERSEY, A JUDGE FOR HAMAS - New Jersey, the Garden State, has just taken its first step toward becoming the Sharia State, with Governor Christie's nomination of Sohail Mohammed, an attorney to detained terrorist suspects, to a Superior Court judgeship in Passaic County. The Sohail nomination continues Christie's unfortunate pandering to the American Muslim Union and the Islamic Center of Passaic County. Read more
WILLIAM J MURRAY ON THE RADIO - Immediately after the shooting of Congresswoman Giffords, the left-wing accused conservative women of causing the attack. During the two weeks since the shooting I have appeared on numerous radio shows pointing out that it is the liberal media that dehumanizes conservative female politicians. Some of the stations I have appeared on were KTOK - Oklahoma City, WAEB - Allentown, WORQ - Green Bay, KMED - Portland, KJAD - Salina, and KVDW - Jacksonville. In addition this past week I appeared on Stand For the Truth, a national program where I discussed several other issues as well. An audio link is available above. I also wrote an article on the shooting.

NO 911 MOSQUE!
NEW GZ IMAM CLAIMS TO BE DESCENDANT OF MOHAMMAD! - Supporters of the Ground Zero mosque were surprised to see their buddy Imam Feisal Rauf suddenly dumped as spiritual leader of what was first Cordoba House and is now known at 51Park. Rauf and his wife Daisy Kahn moved easily through the cocktail party circuit, schmoozing with wealthy liberals like Mayor Bloomberg and Arianna Huffington. Rauf's replacement is unfamiliar to them, and his circle of friends may prove to be quite a bit more radical than Imam Rauf's. Read more

MUSLIMS TELL POPE: IF WE CAN'T KILL CATHOLICS WE WONT TALK TO YOU - Some leading Egyptian intellectuals, including Al Azhar University president, Sheikh Ahmed el-Taye, and other leading members of the Islamic Research Academy, said they would have no further dialogue with the Vatican because Pope Benedict XVI had criticized the murder of Christians by Muslims. The Pope called attention to "non-Muslims being oppressed by Muslim states in the Middle East" after the most recent bombing of a Coptic Church that killed 23. Sheikh Ahmed accused the Pope of interfering in an "internal affair." Read more

January 16, 2009 - Washington, DC

Today is Blackberry turn in day for Bush staff / A farewell to GWB / Final Bush proclamations / Obama's gay military / Hillary goes to Foggy Bottom / Inaugural "pig sex" / People say debt is the problem with America / RFC social networking sites and Facebook / The Left's antisemitism / Persecuted Iraqi Christians
Read More Below

THE PRESIDENCY
BLACKBERRY TURN-IN DAY- Officially the government does not change hands until about 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 20th, but today is actually the last real day the Bush Administration has any effective control. All of my friends at various departments, such as Justice, State, Labor and even the White House were ordered to turn in their Blackberry handsets today. Although they will be paid through Tuesday, they were told not to report to work on Monday.

A FAREWELL TO GWB- When George W. Bush was sworn in as Governor of Texas in 1995 my wife Nancy and I were present in Austin, Texas. We moved the offices of the Religious Freedom Coalition to Washington, DC from Dallas, Texas shortly after that. We were also at both of George W. Bush's presidential Inaugurations, in 2001 and 2005, and in fact participated in Inaugural Balls both times. Going full circle now, we have been invited and will attend the farewell ceremony for President George W. Bush at Andrews Air Force Base on January 20th. We were not invited to any of the Inaugural Balls or other events for Barack Obama.

OBAMA'S GAY MILITARY - Barack Obama has indicated that one of his first orders as Commander-in-Chief will be to eliminate the "don't ask, don't tell" policy toward homosexuals in the military initiated by President Clinton and continued by President George W. Bush. Under the order to be issued by Obama, homosexuals will be allowed to openly flaunt their sexual encounters in the military. Why is this a problem? In a combat unit men must act as a team. When "lovers" are in the unit they watch out for each other and not the team. Read more

BUSH PROCLAMATIONS - Before leaving office, George W. Bush issued two proclamations of interest to social conservatives. He proclaimed January 18th as National Sanctity of Life Day. The March for Life will be held in Washington, DC on January 22nd, the anniversary of Roe V. Wade. President Bush could not issue a proclamation for that date because Barack Obama will be president. It is VERY doubtful that Obama will ever issue a "Sanctity of Human Life" proclamation because he simply does not believe an unborn child is a human life. President Bush also proclaimed today, January 16, 2009 as Religious Freedom Day. I do not know if these links will work after Barack Obama is sworn in.

THE CONGRESS
Nancy Murray at the Senate offices of Hillary Clinton CLINTON GOES TO STATE - Senator Hillary Clinton was confirmed this week as Secretary of State and has already moved into her new digs in Foggy Bottom. Before she could get out of her Senate office a delegation consisting of myself, my wife Nancy, and Father Keith Roderick delivered an Iraqi Christian Coalition letter to her, asking that she assist persecuted Iraqi Christians upon becoming Secretary of State. Photo is of Nancy Murray at Hillary Clinton's office.

PLEASE ACT NOW - Congressman Todd Akin is once again preparing to introduce the Pledge Protection Act which would defend "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance to our nation's flag. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has sat on the atheist lawsuit to remove "under God" from the Pledge in hopes that the Justice Department under Barack Obama will agree with them that it is unconstitutional. We must be ready to defend "under God" in the Pledge. The Religious Freedom Coalition has a new social networking site to form groups to defend "under God" at www.pledgeundergod.com. Please register to help at that site!

CULTURE AND RELIGION
INAUGURAL "PIG SEX" - This is beyond disgusting. This weekend, as part of their celebration in helping to elect Barack Obama, homosexuals will hold a "pig sex" event at the Doubletree Hotel here in Washington, DC. The hotel is owned and operated by the Hilton Hotel Corporation. The acts and conduct that is advertised at their Internet site cannot be reproduced here, but I can say that the activities make those in Biblical Sodom look mild in comparison. Please read more about this and contact the Hilton Hotel Corporation with your comments. (WARNING: THE READ MORE LINK HAS GRAPHIC PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTIONS.)

THE PEOPLE SAY: "DEBT IS THE PROBLEM" - A new poll indicates that 80% of Americans believe that the problem with the economy is government and personal debt. Read more. Personally I believe that a tax structure that promotes use of debt rather than equity led to the meltdown in 2008. Rather than sell stock, companies borrowed funds to expand. No interest needs to be paid to those who invest in stock, but a bond holder wants his interest payments regularly. Every one of the corporate bankruptcy filings, including that of Circuit City and others, came about because they could not make interest payments on a huge debt load.

NEW CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - The all new January 1, 2009 Chairman's Report is now available to read in PDF format. This issue contains material about the assault on "under God" in the Pledge and new details about Barack Obama. The issue also contains more on the "War on Christmas." Read more. INTERNATIONAL
LEFT'S ANTISEMITISM - All except one of the leaders of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, including former Democrat presidential candidate Richard Kucinich, either voted against or answered "present" on a resolution supporting Israel against the terrorist organization HAMAS. Below I have once again listed the link to the video, HAMAS, In Their Own Words. I have done this because Muslims have posted an answer to it declaring that YES ..."We are antisemitic." Read more

HAMAS IN THEIR OWN WORDS- What are the stakes in Gaza for Israel and the world? If Israel does not defeat HAMAS, the world is in danger. View this special edition video, HAMAS IN THEIR OWN WORDS.

PERSECUTED IRAQI CHRISTIANS - The first week of February, Governor David Beasley (R-SC) and several members of the Iraqi Christian Coalition will be holding meetings and visiting with Congressmen and Senators. Please pray we can bring attention to and shine light on this crisis. if you need a reminder of the situation, please watch the testimony video of those who have lived through the persecution. Please help today.

Week Ending January 25, 2008 - Washington, DC

The President and the pro-life rally / The Florida primary / Republican Study Committee's pro-life message / Pro-life amendment to Indian Health? / Pledge petitions delivered to Senator / Roads Not Rebates / Afghan student gets death for paper.

THE PRESIDENT
THE PRESIDENT'S PRO-LIFE MESSAGE- On the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the President spoke to the tens of thousands of right to life marchers who had come from all over the nation to protest the murder of more than 50 million unborn babies. The President said: "Thirty-five years ago today the United States Supreme Court declared and decided that under the law an unborn child is not considered a person. But we know many things about the unborn. Biology confirms that from the start each unborn child is a separate individual with his or her own genetic code. Babies can now survive outside the mother's womb at younger and younger ages. And the fingers and toes and beating hearts that we can see on an unborn child's ultrasound come with something that we cannot see: a soul.

THE FLORIDA PRIMARY - I am currently in Florida where a presidential primary will be held on Tuesday the 29th. On Saturday the 26th, several pro-life leaders will present an award to Governor Mike Huckabee at a ceremony in Orlando. Most "big name" evangelical leaders have endorsed Mitt Romney, who was pro-abortion until he announced his run for president. A voter guide issued by one a group affiliated with Dr. James Dobson was so pro-Romney that it had to be changed because of complaints. I am not backing a man in this race; I am backing a message. Many major evangelical leaders are backing the most likely man to win, to obtain favor in a future Administration. The only favor I desire is from my God.

PRESIDENTIAL VOTER GUIDE - Wall-Builders has just released a really good guide to the presidential candidates that is short and concise. Unlike some published by major evangelical organizations, it is not biased toward Gov. Mitt Romney. Click here to view the WallBuilders voter guide in PDF format.

THE HOUSE
REPUBLICAN STUDY COMMITTEE - The pro-life members of the House who are members of the Republican Study Committee booked time on the House floor on the evening of the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to make impassioned pleas for the lives of the unborn. The session was moderated by Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) who is currently one of the great pro-life champions in the 108th Congress.

The Republican Study Committee currently has 100 members. Keep in mind that after resignations and deaths, the GOP currently has 200 seats in the House. That means that only half of the Republicans in Congress have a desire to join this conservative body that consists of social conservatives who are also economic conservatives.

THE SENATE
William Murray presents petitions to Senator Inhofe UNDER GOD PETITIONS TO SENATOR - On January 23rd I personally handed to Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) a disc containing the names and addresses of every Oklahoman who had signed a petition to protect "Under God" in the Pledge. We are seeking a godly Senator to introduce the Pledge Protection Act in the Senate. Senator Inhofe was chosen as the first senator to receive our petitions because he is a member of the Republican Senate leadership. Each week he is part of a steering committee meeting that determines what legislation the Republican members of the Senate will push. Senator Inhofe is the leader of a Senate Bible study that is attended by numerous Senators, and each summer he visits African leaders to share the Gospel.

PRO-LIFE INDIAN HEALTH CARE - On the anniversary of Roe v Wade, Senator Vitter (R-LA) filed a pro-life amendment to the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (S-1200) that would codify a long-standing policy against funding of abortions with federal Indian Health Service (IHS) funds. This amendment to the bill would mean that funds cannot be used for abortions (except life of mother, rape, and incest) no matter what happens with the annual appropriations language. (This same pro-life goal was accomplished in the Department of Defense by enactment of a permanent Hyde Amendment as part of the Defense Authorization Bill in 1996.)

The Vitter amendment to S. 1200 would accomplish this pro-life goal with respect to the Indian Health Care program. The amendment language is based on the Hyde Amendment which is contained in the Health and Human Services Appropriations Bill.

RELIGION AND CULTURE
ROADS NOT REBATES - The small rebates proposed by President Bush and the Democrat Congress wouldn't even pay for the gas lost in traffic each year for the average American family. Using the billions he and the Democrats propose to spend to "stimulate" the economy by sending us all small checks would be better used to fix our roads with American steel, American cement and American labor. The rebates would probably be used by most Americans to buy cheap consumer goods made in China.

A recent Heritage Foundation report agreed, showing that the 2001 tax rebates had virtually no economic effect. We need to say no to tax rebates and demand that our broken roads and bridges be fixed. I have personally set up an Internet site at www.roadsnotrebtates.com to get this point across. If you agree, please go to that site and vote for roads instead of rebates.

NEW 2008 CHAIRMAN'S REPORT - The January 4, 2008 issue of the Chairman's Report is now available online. This issue contains the latest information on atheist Michael Newdow's "under God" lawsuit. Read about conservative victories in the Congress and the Huckabee and Obama campaigns. Click here to read in PDF format

INTERNATIONAL
AFGHAN STUDENT GETS DEATH - The United State and our NATO allies invaded Afghanistan to rid it of the Taliban who harbored terrorists and persecuted the people with a violently rigid version of Islam. To justify the invasion our nation pointed to executions of people innocent of any crime but free speech.

Now the government we installed after the invasion plans to execute a student for "offending" Islam.

An Afghan court sentenced a student to death for blasphemy, for distributing an article from the Internet considered to be an insult to the Prophet Muhammad. The student, Sayed Parwiz Kambakhsh, 23, also works for a local newspaper. There has been no comment from the White House or NATO commanders in Afghanistan. See New York Times article.

WATCH THE VIDEO ON IRAQI CHRISTIANS- Thousands of people have viewed the new video on the persecution of Iraqi Christians that is streaming from the Religious Freedom Coalition Internet site. Please send the link to others to view! Click here to view the 20 minute video prepared by the Chaldean Church. More information is available at www.christianrefugees.blogspot.com
