THE PRESIDENCY
OBAMA: LAST SECULAR GOVERNMENT MUST FALL - Conservatives in Congress have fallen in behind President Barack Obama's drive to oust the last secular government in the Middle East and replace it with one controlled by Hezbollah, a terrorist organization. Most of the Christians who fled the government set up in Iraq by President George W. Bush now live in Syria. Christians in Syria fully support the secular government of President Assad because they have seen the plight of Christians in nations such as Iraq and Egypt as the American government continues to favor Islamist governments over those that are secular in nature. If Obama wins in Syria, Christians will be massacred; there is no place left for them in the Middle East and this Administration has made it clear they are not welcome here. 
OBAMA: MILITARY AID FOR ASIA - President Obama, currently in Asia, has pledged a military buildup in the Pacific with military aid to Australia as a start. This is nuts. Australia is second only to Germany in financial soundness and does not need a dime from us in any form at all. Indeed our nation will have to borrow the money from China to send our military to Australia. Oddly, conservatives will support this while ignoring the Islamist threat from Indonesia. On his Asia trip President Obama again attacked Americans saying they are "lazy." What would it be like to have a President who was proud of our nation and its people?

CONGRESS 

FORBES FILES EGYPT RESOLUTION - Congressman Randy Forbes (R-VA) has filed a resolution, H.Res. 459, that would encourage any new government convened in Egypt to fully allow for the freedom of religion. Forbes and 22 other congressmen also sent a letter to President Obama urging him to denounce the violence used by the Egyptian military against Coptic Christians in October.

NO PRAYER AT WW2 MEMORIAL - The Obama Administration is opposed to the World War II Memorial Prayer Act (H.R. 2070), introduced by Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH) The bill would add President Franklin D. Roosevelt's D-Day prayer to the National World War II Memorial. President Roosevelt delivered the prayer to the nation on June 6, 1944, the day that American troops stormed the beaches of Normandy. Rep. Johnson said, "It is unconscionable that the Obama Administration would stand in the way of honoring our nation's distinguished World War II veterans. President Roosevelt's prayer gave solace, comfort, and strength to our nation and our brave warriors as we fought against tyranny and oppression. These words should be included among the tributes to the Greatest Generation memorialized on the National Mall."

RELIGION AND CULTURE
CULTURE BASED (SHARIA) JUSTICE - The National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges wants the nation's judges to determine if there is "a culturally-based explanation" when deciding whether or not a child needs to be removed from the home because of abuse or neglect. The NCJFCJ wants judges to use the Council's "benchcard" as a legal tool and checklist on abuse and neglect cases. Under the benchcard's heading "LEGAL THRESHOLD FOR REMOVAL" is the inquiry: "Have the family's cultural background, customs and traditions been taken into account in evaluating the event and circumstances that led to the removal? Have the parent(s) cultural or tribal liaison/relevant other(s) been asked if there is a culturally-based explanation for the allegations in the petition?" In some jurisdictions, the terms of Sharia or Islamic law are already being offered as a defense for criminal abuse and forced marriages of minors. Read more CAIR ATTACKS MODERATE MUSLIMS - The Council on American-Islamic Relations' (CAIR) campaign of discrediting critics now includes attacking other Muslims who speak out against terrorism. Last week, CAIR called two Minneapolis activists "anti-Muslim" for their participation in a seminar which included a discussion about an Islamic terrorist group in Somalia. Both Omar Jamal and Abdirizak Bihi are Muslims. But CAIR's Minnesota chapter attacked them over their involvement with a seminar on Somali culture and their communities in America held Thursday in St. Paul. Read more
MARYLAND PUBLIC POOL FOR MUSLIMS ONLY? - Shehlla Khan, a Muslim in Howard County Maryland did not want people (read that as non-Muslims) watching her swim in the conservative, cover-all dress required by Islamic dress codes. The Columbia Association which controls the public pool immediately created a twice weekly, women only swim time. Will this satisfy the Muslim community? No, the goal is Sharia and Sharia says that non-Muslims may not look upon Muslim women. The policy of "Muslim only" public pools is a reality in London, UK and will be here soon.
SHARIA YES, CROSS NO - The Supreme Court declined to hear a case brought by the American Atheists challenging the constitutionality of crosses placed on Utah roadsides to honor fallen state troopers. The Utah Highway Patrol Association asked the Supreme Court to hear the case after the Tenth Circuit held that the crosses violated the Establishment Clause. With Utah's permission, a private nonprofit organization placed the cross memorials at sites where state troopers were killed in the line of duty. The Supreme Court's decision declining the case means that the Tenth Circuit's decision will stand. Justice Clarence Thomas dissented from the Court's denial of the case saying, "Today the Court rejects an opportunity to provide clarity to an Establishment Clause jurisprudence in shambles." He continued, "It is difficult to imagine an area of the law more in need of clarity."

Bishop Pervaiz Joseph is leading "Pastors Care Ministries" and also serving as Pastor in a Charismatic Gospel Church. Pastor Baber George is working with Full Gospel Assemblies Church Pakistan (FGA) which is the oldest and mother church of all Pentecostal church movements in Pakistan. Read more

TUNISIA'S NEW LEADER HAILS "SIXTH CALIPHATE" - 'The Islamist politician likely to become Tunisia's first democratically elected prime minister has alarmed liberals and secularists by claiming the arrival of the "sixth caliphate", a controversial term for a Muslim empire. Hamadi Jebeli told a rally in the city of Sousse: "My brothers, you are at a historic moment in a new cycle of civilisation, God willing. We are in sixth caliphate, God willing." Read more

PRESIDENCY 
OBAMA, RAMADAN AND THE GROUND ZERO MOSQUE- President Obama endorsed the mega-mosque at Ground Zero on August 13th, the first day of Ramadan. Since his endorsement of the "religion of peace" monument near Ground Zero, 199 people have died in more than 50 terror attacks by Muslims during their "holy month." The murders in the name of the "religion of peace" during Ramadan have occurred worldwide and include seven killed by a truck bomb in Xinjiang, China and murders in Thailand, Gaza, India and other nations. MY RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA - I have prepared a video response to President Barack Obama's endorsement of a mega mosque near Ground Zero that can be viewed at Youtube.
MUSLIMS "PRAY" IN PENTAGON 911 CHAPEL - Rev. Franklin Graham, whose son is serving in Iraq, was not allowed to pray at the Pentagon because his presence would "offend" Muslims. But, Muslim imams use the 9-11 memorial chapel at the Pentagon to pray for Sharia Law to replace our Constitution. No women are allowed in the chapel when Muslim men are present to pray. The Muslim prayers, in Arabic only, are very often contrary to the goals of our military according to Arabic speaking informants who have been there.

THE CONGRESS 

CONGRESS IN RECESS - NANCY PELOSI'S MOUTH KEEPS RUNNING - Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi called for an "investigation" of all those who are opposed to construction of a mega mosque near Ground Zero. Hmmm. Depending upon which poll your believe, between 62% and 68% of the American people are against the mosque's construction including most Democrats. Only Muslims who want to establish Sharia law in the United States and far left elitist liberals such as Pelosi and Obama support the Ground Zero mosque. More on this at www.no911mosque.org
 

CULTURE AND RELIGION 

NYC TURNS BACK ON CHURCH DESTROYED ON 9-11 - Only one church was destroyed at Ground Zero. It was St. Nicholas, an Orthodox church built decades ago by people who had fled Islamic domination. It is nearly ten years later and New York City has refused to allow the congregation to build a new church. New York didn't like the size of the new church (about 1/10 the size of the mega mosque that was approved) or the typical Orthodox domes. It appears city officials thought it was too big a church for the area. But, a fifteen story mosque is OK? Nearly ten years after their church was destroyed by Muslim fanatics the congregation still has no church. The Bloomberg administration is blocking the construction of the church while fast tracking the Ground Zero mega mosque. Indeed, New York officials did not even tell church officials they had stopped all plans to allow them to build. Fox News had to inform church officials of the news.
MOSQUE ORGANIZERS WILL ACCEPT FUNDS FROM IRAN - It is against the law to do business with certain nations listed as sponsors of terrorism including the Sudan and Iran. A former congressman found that out the hard way and has been convicted of doing just that. A spokesman for the Ground Zero mega mosque, Oz Sultan has now stated that they would in fact accept funds from Iran, a sponsor of terror. it gets worse. The front man for the mosque, Imam Rauf, who is on the payroll of the U.S. State Department, has a direct connection to those who claim 9-11 was an attack by Jews. It was his father who raised the funds for a radical mosque in New York City, a mosque for which the younger Rauf sits as a member of its board of directors. ATHEISTS WIN CASE AGAINST CROSSES IN UTAH - Utah, a majority Mormon state, has allowed crosses to be put up by private groups at sites where state troopers have been killed. American Atheists said the markers of respect for the dead officers violated "separation of church and state" and a federal court, of course has agreed." Oddly, the atheists never complain about Sharia finance or Sharia law creeping into American society. Luke Goodrich of the Beckett Fund said, "The Constitution does not require stripping government property of all religious symbols-especially when those symbols are privately owned, privately funded, and privately maintained." INTERNATIONAL 

BESLAN ANNIVERSARY APPROACHING - September 1st is the anniversary of the 2004 take over of a Russian school by Muslim gang rapist murderers. During the siege young girls were repeatedly raped, sometimes with gun barrels by members of the religion of peace. The mass murder of children that occurred at Beslan is rarely referred to in the Western media for fear of offending Muslims with the images of Muslims murdering nearly every child in a school.  
MODERATE INDONESIA FORCES CHURCH TO CLOSE - According to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Indonesia is a "moderate" Islamic nation. But, on July 30th police backed by a Muslim mob closed down a church in North Sumatra Province. Rev. Leritio Panjaitan, pastor of the of the Binanga Huria Kristen Batak Protestant Church said government officials and the mob threatened to burn their church unless they closed.
TERRORIST HONORED IN WEST BANK - Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas presided over a military funeral of one of the planners of the attack on Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972. Twelve died including 11 athletes and a policeman. The funeral for Amin Al-Hindi's was held at the presidential compound in Ramallah. Secretary Hillary Clinton and President Obama heap praise on Mahmound Abbas for being a "moderate" who can negotiate with Israel.
