SPECIAL EDITION: This week I am highlighting the April 14th edition of the Chairman's Report. In this very special edition I have laid out in a very precise order what went wrong in our experiment with democracy in the United States, and why. There is a a special section on the Utopian philosophy that is destroying the United States and the rest of the West. Drawing on my own past experience growing up in a Marxist home, and exploring the literary example of Thomas More's Of the republic's best state and the island of Utopia I seek to explain why liberals are in such denial of reality. THE PRESIDENCY

BASEBALL BAT DETERRENCE - Imagine a convenience store owner in a really bad neighborhood, whose only defense is a baseball bat he keeps behind the counter. His liberal son comes home from college, takes over the store and puts up a sign that says, "I will not use the baseball bat I have for self defense even if you point a gun at me." Sound familiar? That is the new nuclear weapons policy of the United States under Barack Obama. He has pledged that even if millions of Americans are killed by germ or chemical welfare that he will not strike the attacking nation with nuclear weapons. When challenged on this reckless policy by Sarah Palin, he said she "... is not much of an expert on nuclear issues." He assured Americans that he is taking the advice of the Joint Chief of Staff and the Secretary of Defense. Impressive sounding titles, but those are just guys he himself appoints, not impartial advisers at all.  
LIMITED REPORTING - For the next two weeks I will be outside the United States and my reporting on both the White House and the Congress will be greatly curtailed.

CONGRESS IN RECESS - Congress began a "district work" recess before the first day of Passover and will not return until Tuesday, April 13th.
